An artist who was selected by the Princess of Wales to draw the invitation for her Christmas Carol concert has called it an 'immense honour and privilege' to be part of the event.  Kate Middleton will host the event, which will pay tribute to the late Queen, on Thursday 15 December  at Westminster Abbey, before it is broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve. The royal announced the news on Twitter by sharing a video clip of Aurelie Baudry Palmer, from London, sketching a snowy scene at the church, complete with trees decorated with fairy lights and a number of corgi dogs outside. Aurelie shared a snap of the finished image on her Instagram page, writing: 'I’ve just had the immense honour and privilege to illustrate the invitation to Westminster Abbey’s Christmas carol service on behalf of @princeandprincessofwales.
While fans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have pushed the idea that the California exiles were deliberately singled out to be snubbed and humiliated during the 11 days leading up to the Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, they might consider the case of Mary, the princess of Denmark. Like Harry and Meghan, Princess Mary received an invitation for a funeral-related event that was later rescinded because the powers-that-be realized that she had been sent the  invitation by mistake. New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Sunday once again rejected Texas Governor Greg Abbott's invitation to visit the southern border in-person. The ex-cop and Democratic official told ABC News' This Week that he did not need to physically be on the US-Mexico border to know there was a crisis, and slammed Abbott's program of busing asylum-seekers to New York and other sanctuary cities as a 'political ploy.' Adams also blamed the Texas Republican for the current migrant crisis - despite the hundreds of thousands of people who have been pouring over the border since President Joe Biden took office. He accused Abbott of willfully rejecting an offer to cooperate, claiming his office reached out once they caught word of the initial buses.  'We don't have to stand up on the border to state that the crisis he created is a real crisis,' the mayor said. 'It is time for him to be the chief executive that he is and coordinate with every city and every state the buses pass through so we can properly coordinate as leaders of these...
LOOKED at one way, Prince William’s invitation for Harry and Meghan to join him and wife Catherine on a royal walkabout was a brotherly olive branch after a couple of years of fractious relations. But forgive me if I remove the rose-tinted spectacles for a moment . . .  it was also a PR masterstroke by our future king. 4Prince William's olive branch to Harry and Meghan is a PR coup - let's hope it worksCredit: PA Think about it. To put it bluntly, Harry and Meghan have been outside the monarchal marquee and p***ing in for some time now. Meghan’s often inaccurate blatherings were one thing, but Harry was part of the trusted inner circle for nearly 35 years before he decamped to the US in a fit of pique. He knows family secrets. And worse still, he has an “accurate and wholly truthful” book of his life set to come out this autumn. Couple this with Meghan’s recently launched podcast, planned chat show appearances, and a forthcoming Netflix documentary — all of which suck at the teat of royal status —...
DEAR MISS MANNERS: My husband says I mangled this situation badly. We met a couple at church and felt we would like to get to know them better. One Sunday after services, I asked whether they would care to join us for dinner that afternoon and that we eat at 4 p.m. The husband had stepped away to speak with someone else, and the wife thanked me for the invitation and said she would talk with her husband and get back to me. When we got home, I reiterated the invitation via text. There was no reply. As it happened, my dinner was ready to eat a little earlier than I thought it would be, so my family and I went ahead and sat down to eat since I had not heard back. Imagine my surprise when the doorbell rang at 4 p.m. and there was the couple — plate of cookies in hand — cheerfully stating they were there for dinner. A young Italian man has been cleared of rape after a judge ruled that the woman leaving her toilet door open was an 'invitation to dare' and 'caused the man to approach'. In a ruling at Turin's appeals court last Friday, the judge said that the 'victim' was 'high after an excessive use of alcohol' when she and a man went in to the toilets of a pub together in the city centre in May 2019. The woman also had a broken zip fastening on her jeans, but this was ruled out as proof that she was undressed by the man because it was 'old and worn out'. The appeal sentence overturned a two-year conviction for rape and has since been widely condemned by politicians and women's groups. Laura Ravetto, an MP for political party League, said the sentence was 'spine-chilling'.  A young Italian man has been cleared of rape at Turin's appeals court (pictured) after a judge ruled that the woman leaving her toilet door open was an 'invitation to dare' and 'caused the man to approach' She said: 'The girl,...
In the last-minute “miracle” she hoped for, Rachel Zegler will get her chance to attend the 94th Oscars ceremony Sunday. The Hollywood Reporter revealed Tuesday that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has realized its faux pas, and invited the “West Side Story” star to be a presenter at the ceremony. The invitation to Zegler comes after a firestorm erupted across social media over news that the 20=year-old Latina actor had not been invited to the show — even though she plays Maria in “West Side Story,” one of the films nominated for best picture. Zegler revealed the slight while responding to a fan on Instagram Sunday. The fan had asked what designer gown she’d be wearing to walk the red carpet and attend the ceremony. Zegler, who won a Golden Globe for her role in “West Side Story,” admitted: “I’m not invited so sweatpants and my boyfriend’s flannel.” Zegler also said she tried to get an invitation, but that “doesn’t seem to be happening. I will root for ‘West Side Story’ from my couch and be proud of...
Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) did not mince words when she slammed Fox News' Tucker Carlson for his recent misogynistic remarks. On Friday night's edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight, the serial political instigator leveled yet another attack at the Democratic lawmaker, whom he mockingly refers to as "Sandy Cortez." Spending nearly a third of his hour-long segment ranting about Ocasio-Cortez, Carlson expressed disdain and frustration about a forthcoming book featuring the New York lawmaker. Carlson argued that Ocasio-Cortez should not be considered a "woman of color." Pulling one of her previous Instagram videos, Carlson claimed she was nothing more than a “rich, entitled white lady.” “There is no place on Earth outside of American colleges and newsrooms where Sandy Cortez would be recognized as a quote, woman of color, because she’s not! She’s a rich, entitled white lady,” he said. “She’s the pampered obnoxious ski bunny in the matching snowsuit, who tells you to pull up your mask, while you’re standing in the lift line at Jackson Hole. They’re all the same. It doesn’t...
Tucker Carlson had a grand old time reviewing passages from an upcoming book authored by New York magazine writers about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Friday night. In one case, he reacted by asking if the congresswoman was offering “an invitation to a booty call.” The Fox News host had his producer read passages from the book and also aired videos of the congresswoman that she had posted on social media. He highlighted a CNN segment featuring one such video, showing Ocasio-Cortez assembling IKEA furniture while drinking wine and eating popcorn. “Obviously there are a lot of self-involved people in politics, all of them pretty much,” reacted Carlson. “But it takes a special kind of narcissist to imagine the world desperately wants to see you bolt together a particleboard coffee table. But New York magazine can’t get enough of it. Here’s their account of what you just saw.” Carlson quoted the book as saying, “She is wearing an old moto jacket and is sitting on the floor of her unfurnished apartment eating a bowl of popcorn and drinking a glass...
(CNN)The Republican National Committee on Friday censured Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, arguing that they "support Democrat(ic) efforts to destroy President (Donald) Trump more than they support winning back a Republican majority in 2022." Their shame-worthy act? Participating in the January 6 select committee currently investigating last year's attack on the Capitol. According to the committee, aiding the investigation is an offense not just against the Trump-supporting GOP but against the republic itself, because it involves an unjust persecution of people engaged in "legitimate political discourse." Nicole HemmerThis phrase is an odd way to describe the actions of a mob that chanted "Hang Mike Pence" as it clashed with police before breaking through the doors and windows of the Capitol in an effort to stop the certification of the 2020 presidential election. And while, after widespread ridicule, the RNC insisted that it was referring only to the nonviolent protesters supporting Trump's lie that the election was stolen from him, its attempt to whitewash right-wing violence is part of an ongoing pattern on the right. The GOP's effort to...
DEAR MISS MANNERS: My second cousin is getting married. Her mother contacted my sister for my address to send me an invitation to the wedding. My sister said she didn’t have my address and insisted the bride’s mother send my invitation to her house. I do not live with my sister; I have my own home. When said invitation arrived, it did not just have my name on it: It had my sister’s, as well — and listed first — so I did not even get my own invitation. The acquisition of my address is not a difficult thing. My sister could have contacted me or my mother within a moment’s notice to ask. We all have phone numbers, email and social media. The mother of the bride could have done the same. Neither attempted to do such a thing. Related Articles Miss Manners: If the meal is free, what do you do about the tip? Hillary Clinton's invitation to join her new presentation on "MasterClass," a video streaming platform, on the "skills" she developed throughout her career, was met with sarcasm and mockery on Wednesday. Clinton, the former secretary of state, said she hoped her lessons would arm her viewers with "passion and purpose." She also teased that she'll be sharing what would have been her 2016 presidential election speech had she emerged victorious, saying it would be a way for her to "face" her defeat "head-on." By Gabriela Chavez (CNNMexico) – An invitation with a white background that shows half of the apple’s silhouette in different colors and the legend “a long time has passed”, was the way in which Apple announced that it will hold an event on October 16 at its offices in Cupertino, California known as the Infinite Loop. The invitation was sent to various media focused on technology coverage after rumors spread in recent weeks that the California company would have an event during the month to present new models of its iPad tablet. The last time the company updated the iPad was in November 2013, at an event in San Francisco, where the second generation of what is so far the slimmest and smallest model of the tablet, the iPad Mini, was unveiled. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff went to see the stewards during the red-flag period after Hamilton and Verstappen’s collision Formula 1 teams have been warned they could face penalties if they visit race stewards without an invitation. Race director Michael Masi has written to all teams warning them that visiting the stewards was only permitted with prior approval or an official summons. Clubhouse has been a topic of conversation since the beginning of the year. And for various reasons, too. The first, of course, was a very innovative format, which brings to social networks an approach reminiscent of podcasts. Furthermore, the fact that the talks are ephemeral, that is, that they are not kept so that they can be heard later, raises even more interest in being able to attend them, since it is a kind of “now or never”. Part of the interest of these Clubhouse talks also has to do with the presence of celebrities from multiple fields. For example, Elon Musk took advantage of a Clubhouse talk to reveal some Neuralink advancements, and there have been more such cases. And there is a third point that has made many people want to access … and they couldn’t do it. Since its launch, the service has remained in beta and was only accessible by invitation. And it is well known that this generates a tremendously intense attraction effect. However, Clubhouse’s success has led to many other social networks trying to...
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki rejected Fox News’ Peter Doocy’s suggestion that President Joe Biden should work with his predecessor to encourage vaccinations around the country. Psaki called on Doocy during her Monday press briefing, and the Fox News correspondent prefaced his question by stating that the coronavirus crisis is becoming “a pandemic of the unvaccinated” as case numbers rise. “You guys are having a hard time getting a certain part of the population to go get the shot,” Doocy said. “Would President Biden ever call former President [Donald] Trump and say ‘I need your help, let’s cut a PSA and tell people to go do it?'” Psaki began by defending the Biden administration’s focus on getting local officials to assist their vaccine promotional efforts. She also made a not-so-subtle dig at Trump by noting his absence months ago when every other living former president and first lady teamed up for a pro-vaccine PSA. “We have seen almost every former president play a role in putting out a PSA, making sure people understood in the country that the vaccine...
Russian President Vladimir Putin disputed that President Joe Biden, during a visit to Moscow when he was still vice president, told him that he had no soul. Biden claimed during an interview in 2014 that the exchange took place in 2011. PUTIN BLAMES US FOR 'MAJORITY' OF GLOBAL CYBERATTACKS "I said, ‘Mr. Prime Minister, I’m looking into your eyes, and I don’t think you have a soul,’” Biden told the New Yorker at the time. “He looked back at me, and he smiled, and he said, ‘We understand one another.'" Biden was referring to remarks made by former President George W. Bush, who once suggested he and the Russian leader could work together. Like U.S. presidents before and after him, however, Bush's hopes were mostly dashed. Even the most recent former commander in chief, Donald Trump, soured on Putin's antics, though he rarely said so publicly despite approving sanctions and other measures meant to put pressure on his counterpart in Moscow. Putin, speaking through a translator at his Wednesday press conference, claimed he doesn't "remember" the exchange and added...

Unbeknownst to most American taxpayers, they're on the hook to cover the funeral costs of many COVID-19 victims. Thanks to a Biden administration program that reimburses up to $35,500 to applicants who buried a loved one, funerals are the newest entitlement program.   It doesn't matter if they're rich or poor so long as they have a death certificate listing COVID-19 as the cause of death. Oh, and if they don't have that, the FEMA website provides a handy FAQ section providing guidance on how to amend a death certificate to attribute the death to COVID-19. Given the much higher reimbursement rates hospitals received for treating COVID-19 patients, it's hard to imagine there are a lot of deaths that were improperly attributed to other causes. It's much more plausible to imagine deaths resulting from other causes being attributed to COVID-19.  VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: AMERICAN MADNESS OF 2020 – WILL HYSTERIA CONTINUE IN POST-COVID US? The Duke of Edinburgh's carriage-driving companion - one of his closest confidantes - Countess Mountbatten of Burma will join mourners at Philip's funeral.   Penny Romsey, 67, who is 32 years younger than Philip, remained close to the Duke for years after he took it upon himself in 1994 to teach her carriage driving.   For years, no private royal event is complete without an invitation to Penny Brabourne. Around Buckingham Palace she is known simply as 'and also…' because of the automatic way her name is added to the guest list.   Now the 67-year-old countess - Penelope 'Penny' Knatchbull, previously known as Lady Romsey and later Lady Brabourne - will join the monarch, the Queen and Philip's four children and eight grandchildren and their respective spouses at the service in St George's Chapel on Saturday. Buckingham Palace said the Queen faced 'some very difficult' decisions as she selected the 30 guests permitted under Covid-19 rules, from the original 800-strong congregation, and had tried to ensure all branches of the duke's family were there.  But who is the striking blonde, whose misfortunes never seem...
The Democrats’ “For the People Act,” which would essentially federalize U.S. elections, stripping states of their ability to implement basic election integrity measures such as voter ID, is an “invitation for total chaos,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) warned during Wednesday’s Senate Rules and Administration Committee hearing. McConnell first addressed his colleague Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who spoke ahead of the minority leader and used the opportunity to deem state election laws, particularly those pursued by Republican legislatures, as “one of the greatest threats we have to modern democracy in America.” “The state bills he refers to I believe … had absolutely nothing to do with suppressing the vote. It’s also noteworthy that this is a solution in search of a problem,” McConnell said, noting turnout in 2020 was the highest in over 100 years. “States are not engaging in trying to suppress voters whatsoever. This is clearly an effort by one party to rewrite the rules of our political system but even more immediately, it would create an implementation nightmare, as Senator Blunt pointed out, that would drown state...

Associated Press Washington Bureau chief Julie Pace argued on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that President Joe Biden did not have a plan for the surge underway on the U.S.-Mexico border. Based on that, Pace said migrants think they have an open invitation. Anchor Chris Wallace said, “The Department of Homeland Security put out a report this week, it wasn’t put out to the public, but it was leaked that they are now projecting 117,000 unaccompanied minors that are going to cross the border this year. Way over what we thought was a very serious surge in 2019. Terrified Georgia was putting her daughter to bed when she realised Niubasaga, who is originally from Fiji, had followed her home and crept into the room. The rapist then followed Georgia back downstairs and told her the way she dressed would attract the "the wrong attention" in his home country. He added that men would see her clothing as an "invitation"...
Actors who found success on multiple TV shows Classic cars that made a comeback An ANWA invitation is iconic: For Kate Smith its a framer and for Kaitlyn Papp, a keepsake Kate Smith’s spirits were low on Nov. 15 as she started the drive home from a tournament in Waco, Texas, where she felt like she’d “played terribly.” On the way home, she got an email from Augusta National indicating she was in consideration for the 2021 Augusta National Women’s Amateur. © Provided by Golfweek Kaitlyn Papp Augusta Is there a quicker mood-lifter? “I don’t really feel like Augusta National material right now,” Smith remembered thinking to herself, “but that would be nice.” Two months later, the iconic ANWA invitation was laying on her doorstep back home in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Smith spent the early part of this week quarantining at the University of Nebraska so she could be cleared to start the spring season. Smith got the email from UPS that the package was there and sent her mom straight home from work (no trip to the grocery...

Cuomo blithely destroys restaurants — and peoples jobs — for no reason Fresh success at Hudson Yards shows how NYC wins with rezoning RXR Realty has its work cut out to fill 5 Times Square Pandemic-battered Fifth Avenue finally gets some good news Two important land-use battles climaxed with opposite outcomes this fall. The City Council approved plans for a Special Flushing Waterfront District in Queens last week, while council opposition to a rezoning of Sunset Park’s Industry City (in Brooklyn) prompted the plan’s sponsors to abandon it. Each proposal had ardent proponents and detractors in government and in the private economy. But each outcome was essentially determined by just one member of the 51-person council — Peter Koo in District 20 in Queens and Carlos Menchaca in District 38 in Brooklyn. It shouldn’t have been that way. Too much was at stake for the whole city for the plans to be green-lighted or killed by a single individual. But the council’s...
President Donald Trump’s impeachment defense lawyer Ken Starr said on Fox News host Mark Levin’s Fox News Sunday evening primetime program that the idea to “count every vote” could transpire into an invitation of “lawlessness,” while further offering on the show another claim of widespread election fraud without providing any evidence to support it. “In other words, this notion of count every vote, some votes are legal, some aren’t,” the Fox News host began. “Some are constitutional, some aren’t. In that order you speak to Justice [Samuel] Alito said segregated the votes that occurred after 8:00 P.M. EST on Election Day Tuesday, because those votes may be in question under our federal constitution based on what the state supreme court, that is the state supreme court may have disenfranchised those voters by violating the federal constitution.” “Isn’t that the potential point that he is making here?” Levin asked Starr. Starr agreed with Levin stating that counting every vote, in this instance, might be a crime. “Exactly right,” Starr fired back. “In fact, to count every vote may be a crime....
2020 watch: Appeasing Rioters Won’t Stop Them The left insists the way “to stop violence in the streets is to elect Democrats,” who will “surely be better at calming the far-left mobs by giving them at least part of what they want,” observes Kyle Sammin at The Federalist. And it’s true “the mob would be gratified by Donald Trump leaving office.” Yet giving in to violent demands only proves “violence works and leads to more of it. A mob is never satisfied.” Americans know “a nation that votes out of fear is lost” — and would do well to remember that now. “This republic endures when people vote based on what they think will be right and good for all of us.” If they don’t, “this grand experiment in republican self-government will be headed for failure.” Libertarian: We’re Now Truly Beating COVID “The fatality rate among COVID-19 patients in the United States has fallen dramatically since last spring, from 6.1 percent in mid-May to 2.6 percent yesterday,” reports Reason’s Jacob Sullum. The key reason, according to new studies: We’ve...
Actor Kubbra Sait has a funny anecdote about attending the mega wedding of Bollywood superstars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. “I met him (Ranveer Singh) many eons ago when I was hosting a show in a crowd of 5,000 people. You don’t imagine to be remembered by a superstar of that order when you are hosting a show, but he remembered me. Then when ‘Sacred Games’ released he actually texted me and I lost my plot. Kubbra Sait Comes Out in Support of Rhea Chakraborty After Her NCB Arrest, Says ‘Still Not a Murderer’ (Read Tweet) He told me something like, ‘kya Boss, you are a daredevil’! I told him in return, ‘don’t forget to invite me to your wedding’. So that’s how I think I earned myself an invite and he very generous and kind. I would like to say, I gatecrashed his wedding with an invitation!” recalled Kubra, while speaking on a chat show. Kubbra has also shared screen space with Ranveer in the 2019 film “Gully Boy”. On her role in the show “Sacred Games”, Kubbra shared...
WHEELERSBURG — By getting an official All-American invitation, Wheelersburg’s Gage Adkins is going to be doing a Texas two-step. That’s because, after an extended process which actually culminated with a combine back in the summer, Adkins —a six-foot, one-inch and 185-pound primarily linebacker and defensive back — has been selected to compete in the Blue-Grey All-American Combine, which will take place in mid-January inside immaculate AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Of course, that’s the home of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League — and perhaps better known as “Jerry’s World”, with longtime Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spearheading the building of the facility. For Adkins, he plans to make it his personal playground —showcasing his talents there from Jan. 16-18. Adkins confirmed his invitation on Thursday via his personal Twitter account, and explained that he was selected from a pool of 6,750 players. He will also be attending the Blue Grey All-American Bowl game, which takes place that weekend. “I was super pumped. I came home after my public speaking class and opened up this huge packet. I’ve dreamed...
If the Democratic National Convention felt different this year, it wasn’t just due to the absence of bedazzled activists, confetti, and balloons. As a Democratic political consultant I have attended multiple national conventions, and I can tell you that like all party conventions -- they are insider affairs. They are to pros and party faithful what Bowl Games are to college football fans, Derbys are to Kentuckians and state fairs are to Iowans. This year I knew I wouldn’t be lunching with Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., or watching House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. power hug a colleague backstage. This one was different. WASHINGTON POST'S JENNIFER RUBIN CLAIMS SHE CRIED '15, 20' TIMES WHILE WATCHING DEM CONVENTION Gone was the opportunity to see politicians, journalists and celebrity strategists collide in a traditional display of message, moments and mayhem. Gone were the crowds, and the traditional energy. The notion that a convention should exclude Republicans was gone too. This year the DNC aimed not only to unify and ignite the Democratic base, but to reach out, like never before, to those outside the tent. Some may argue that conventions always do this but I’ve never seen it like this. Political polarization has made swing voters an endangered species. However, some traditionally...
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are 'unlikely to join the royals at Balmoral this summer despite an invitation from the Queen,  according to a royal expert. Her Majesty, 94, had been self-isolating in Windsor Castle since March, but is set to travel to Scotland alongside Prince Philip, 99, next month. But while Prince Charles, 71, along with Prince William, 38, and Kate Middleton, 38, and Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, Prince Louis, two, are to join the royal couple for the family holiday, it is believed the Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, won't attend. Writing in The Telegraph, Camilla Tominey explained it was 'highly unlikely' they would journey from Los Angeles to Scotland, writing: 'Some are beginning to question when – or indeed if – the Queen and Prince Philip will see Archie, their youngest great-grandchild, again.' Royal editor Camilla Tominey has revealed it is 'highly unlikely' that Prince Harry, 35, and Meghan Markle, 38, will join the other members of the royal family in Balmoral this year  While Prince Harry and Meghan won't be attending...
Donald Trump yucking it up with Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos as they plot to push kids back to school in a pandemic. In his latest appearance on Fox News, Donald Trump declared that he thought testing for COVID-19 was “overrated,” though he grudgingly agreed that he would allow tests to continue. Jaw-dropping as that might seem, in a way Trump is right—since he’s completely surrendered any idea of responding to the pandemic, what’s the point in testing? There’s to be no national coordination of testing, no unified system of case tracing, no national mandate on masks, and no suggestion of providing states with any guidance on addressing the still-increasing number of cases. Once you’re content to drown, is there really any reason to measure the rising tide? Of course, Trump doesn’t intend to go down alone. And his basic inflexibility means that once he has said something, he never even considers the option of changing his mind. So it’s perfectly understandable that in a Wednesday briefing, Trump absolutely declared his commitment to reopening schools and plopping children into closely-packed chairs....
Acting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Chad Wolf pushed back on critics of federal agents being deployed to cities experiencing a surge of violence, telling “Outnumbered Overtime” on Thursday, “We do not need an invitation from the governor or the mayor.” Wolf made the comment reacting to a Fox News op-ed penned by Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano titled, “In Portland, actions of federal agents are unlawful, unconstitutional and harmful.” “[Arrests by feds] are unlawful because federal agents are selectively arresting folks and not even pretending to be enforcing local and state laws,” Napolitano wrote. “Under federal law, the feds may not deploy police or military domestically unless the state Legislature or the state governor requests it. Neither has done so for Portland.” “I’m shocked by that statement by the judge,” Wolf said in response. “Clearly he has it wrong.” He went on to say that once Napolitano “goes back and looks at it and understands it, we have the authority to protect the federal courthouse there in Portland.” “We have the authority to make arrests on individuals that are targeting that courthouse, committing criminal acts against that...
