Just before midnight on November 19, Aldrich is thought to have opened fire in Club Q in Colorado Springs. He was eventually subdued by US Army veteran Richard M. Fierro as well as patron Thomas Jane and a drag performer.  The club's owners say he arrived with 'tremendous firepower' - an AR-15 rifle, six magazines of ammo and a handgun. Patrons used the handgun he was carrying to beat him to the ground until police arrived.  Xavier Kraus, 23, told the Daily Beast that Aldrich would regularly attend a gun range were 'rapid fire' was allowed. The joys of summer skin: a subtle tan, a glowing complexion and that all-important smattering of sun-kissed freckles.  Freckles are having a moment in the sun, with women who once tried desperately to cover theirs with make-up — or had them lasered off — embracing their natural pigmentation.  Famous freckled faces include Meghan Markle, who ensured her wedding make-up didn’t conceal her ‘favourite feature’. She also says she hates when they are removed in photos, telling one magazine: ‘My pet peeve is when my skin tone is changed and my freckles are airbrushed out.’  Kylie Jenner and Lindsay Lohan are revealing theirs, too.  Thalia Khadi’s inspiration for having freckles tattooed on her face four months ago was her mum. Thalia is mixed race and has a few natural freckles, but wanted more Some have taken it even further, drawing on artificial freckles, with beauty experts claiming they can lend a fresh-faced, youthful look.  And most radical of all, others — like those pictured above — are spending hundreds to have semi-permanent freckles tattooed onto their faces.  RELATED ARTICLES Previous...

The Eagles’ controversial decision to bench Jalen Hurts in the team’s final game against the Washington Football Team left a bad taste in nearly everyone’s mouth. Except the Washington Football Team, that is. Postgame audio caught by NFL mics shows Washington defensive end Montez Sweat joking with Hurts. “I don’t know what would’ve happened if you would’ve stayed in there, man.” MORE: NFL has giant reasons to be concerned about Eagles Hurts completed just 7 of 20 passes for 72 yards and an interception, but also ran eight times for 34 yards and two touchdowns. His backup Nate Sudfeld — who came on at the start of the fourth quarter with Philadelphia down just three points — was not as impressive. He completed 5 of 12 passes for 32 yards and two turnovers in the 20-14 loss. Many who follow the NFL feel Doug Pederson’s decision to bench Hurts was less than sporting; the move not only eliminated the Giants from winning the NFC East — giving Washington that title — but also gave Philadelphia a better draft...
MSNBC’s Chris Hayes opened his show reflecting on the anniversary of September 11th and looking at how the nation responded in the wake of the terror attacks on that horrible day and how it has responded and is continuing to respond to the coronavirus pandemic, particularly those in leadership. He noted those moments of “civic solidarity” across the country these past few months and said, “That national sense of unity and grief and solemnity and tribute, when it’s happened, has happened in spite of our leadership, not because of it. And often has been totally absent from this catastrophe. To a shocking degree.” Hayes reviewed the admission President Donald Trump made to Bob Woodward about downplaying the severity of the virus early on. “We still have people from the president on down, his allies and his mouthpieces and propagandists on Trump TV, engaged in a truly sick game of whataboutism.” He said he’s wondered what it would have been like after 9/11 to walk around New York and tell people that “this isn’t really that big of a deal”...
A man whose son was shot and killed in Seattle's now-disbanded CHOP zone broke down in tears as he described the pain he has gone through as a result of the 19-year-old's death. "I can’t talk to him. I can’t just tell him I love him, you know? One thing about me, though, I raised all my kids — one household. All of my kids. I have the privilege to ... raise all my kids. ... The rest of my kids, they still stay with me," Horace Lorenzo Anderson Sr. told Sean Hannity on Wednesday night. "I got a chance to raise them. God gave my son to me at 2 years old, and I’ve been raising him since 2 years old the best I can. ... You know, kids, they do what they do. My thing is life was ... all I can do is teach you how to live. I couldn’t teach them how to die because I ain’t never died before. So I don’t know how to teach my kids how to die. ... I know...
Singer Pink and husband Carey Hart are still going strong after 14 years of marriage — thanks to couple’s counseling. The “What About Us” singer, 40, sat down with therapist Vanessa Inn during an Instagram Live session Friday where she revealed that she and Hart would’ve likely split by now had it not been for Inn’s expertise. “I got a lot of s–t for telling people that Carey and I have been in couples counseling with Vanessa [Inn],” the pop star explained. “So I talk to Vanessa on my own and I also talk to Vanessa with Carey and for Carey and I. It’s the only reason that we’re still together because you know, I think partners after a long time, we just speak — I can’t say it’s a man and woman thing, I think it’s a partner thing, a spouse thing — that you just speak two different languages.” “You need someone to hear both of you and then translate it for you, and without Vanessa translating for me for the last 18 years, I mean we would...
