The hellish discovery was made on September 6 when Mayo-Smith, a software engineer, returned home to his apartment at Silver Towers, a high-rise building located on West 42nd Street.  Mayo-Smith told DailyMail.com that his apartment was in shambles when he returned and appeared to have been burglarized and transformed into a drug den.  'There was drug paraphernalia in every single space,' Mayo-Smith said. 'The Creeper left behind needles, a suitcase, shoes, dirty dishes, and hair shavings in the bathroom sink.' What made the ordeal even more terrifying was that once Mayo-Smith was inside, he thought the vandals were still there 'hiding.' 'I tiptoed around with a baseball bat like an idiot until it was clear that the apartment...

Newly released bodycam footage shows the failed sobriety test and arrest of Michigan state representative, Mary Cavanaugh after she was pulled over for driving on two flat tires. Police pulled 30-year-old Cavanaugh over when they saw her driving with the flat tires and swerving between lanes on the highway in Livonia, a suburb just west of Detroit, at around 2am on February 25.  In bodycam footage of the arrest, Cavanaugh - who has a drink driving conviction dating back to 2015 - tells officers that she was driving back from a political fundraiser, that she'd had two glasses of red wine, and that she did not know how the tires had been damaged.  The officer on site then demonstrates and conducts a sobriety test involving walking in a straight line and standing on one leg.  Cavanagh was elected to state office for Redford Township in 2020, and in 2021 she co-sponsored and passed legislation to expunge first time drunk-driving offenses. The law came into effect on February 19, six days before her second DUI arrest.   Rep. Mary Cavanaugh, 30, was...

The Supreme Court has not yet given an update on Justice Clarence Thomas, 73, after he was hospitalized last week with an infection for 'flu-like symptoms'. Thomas was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. on Friday, the Supreme Court said in a Sunday statement. Reports in Russia this week have intimated that the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) intends to use all of its allotted six month time-frame from the date of the notification of Valieva's alleged offence to reach a decision over a prospective sanction - meaning the ruling will be delayed until August at the earliest. Duguay got up from the table and approached the photographer, according to the New York Daily News, and asked: 'Are you looking for trouble?' He then reportedly knocked the camera out of the photographer's hands.  Palin has been divorced from...
Las Vegas police who botched an arrest and put the wrong Shane Brown behind bars now face a costly lawsuit for their embarrassing mix-up of a young black man and a middle-aged white man.  Shane Lee Brown, a black man, now 25, spent six days in Henderson and Clark County jails in 2020 after being mistaken for Shane Neal Brown, a then-49-year-old white man, because they have the same first and last names, and a warrant was out for Shane Neal for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. The younger Brown is now suing the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) for $550,000 for the mix-up, seeking $500,000 under federal law and $50,000 under state law. The Atlanta Black Star reported that he filed the suit on January 7. 'Had any of the LVMPD police or corrections officers performed any due diligence, such as comparing Shane Lee Brown's booking photo against the existing mug shot belonging to the world, white ''Shane Brown'' named in the warrant, they would have easily determined that Shane Lee Brown has been misidentified as...
