NHS waiting lists have hit a new high as 7million are in line for care, new data has revealed. This is up from the 6.8million who were waiting for hospital care in July. 1The number of those waiting in A&E for a bed in a ward has also risen, data showsCredit: Getty The figures for August are the highest since records began. The fresh numbers come as medics are struggling to get through the backlog created by the Covid pandemic. During the initial outbreak of the virus, operations and treatment plans were pushed back for many patients in order to treat the immediate threat of the virus. Figures shows that the number of people enduring long trolley waits – referring to the time spent in A&E before people are found a bed on a hospital ward – has also risen in the last month. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently created a national uproar when he flew 50 Venezuelan undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers to Martha’s Vineyard. DeSantis’ plan sought to expose the supposed hypocrisy of Democrats who say they welcome immigrants, but subsequently panic when the immigrants arrive in their communities. His flight follows similar actions by Republican Govs. Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Ducey of Arizona, who have sent busloads of migrants to liberal cities, hoping to provoke fierce reactions. Regardless of the effect of the flight to Martha’s Vineyard, it exposed an underlying chaos that has paralyzed the immigration debate. And it is a chaos that can be fixed using the same tools we’ve utilized in the past. Border chaos has become a central focus of the immigration debate in the United States, in no small part thanks to Donald Trump’s entrance on to the political scene in 2015. At his rallies, Trump led his supporters in chants of “Build the Wall,” arguing a physical barricade was a solution to chaos and criminality along the border. Although Trump ran on...
Russia doesn’t have enough cruise missiles to wage a scorched-earth campaign against Ukrainian civilians while fending off a Ukrainian counteroffensive to liberate occupied territory in the east, Western officials and analysts said. “We know that they are running out of these cruise missiles, which is by the way the only precision, long-range weapon they still have,” a senior European military official told the Washington Examiner. “Soon, so early 2023, they will run out of it because that's something the defense industry in Russia cannot produce anymore.” Those estimates bode poorly for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ability to sustain the blistering barrage that Russian forces unleashed this week. The bombardment targeted energy infrastructure and other civilian targets across the country in an apparent effort to cripple “the entire chain of supply” of electricity, according to Ukrainian energy officials. BELARUS TROOPS MAY NOT BE USEFUL TO RUSSIA DURING UKRAINE WAR “The upcoming winter will be challenging,” Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said Wednesday. “Therefore, we once again urge everyone to prepare carefully for winter. CNBC anchor Jim Cramer suggested the latest inflation number spells doom for President Joe Biden’s economy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Wednesday that the Producer Price Index increased 0.4 percent in September, an increase of 0.1 percentage point from August. “Prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services advanced 0.4 percent in September, the largest rise since increasing 0.5 percent in May. For the 12 months ended in September, the index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services moved up 5.6 percent,” according to BLS. “Most of the September increase is attributable to a 0.6-percent rise in the index for final demand services less trade, transportation, and warehousing.” Moreover, according to BLS, “over a quarter of the September increase in the index for final demand services can be traced to a 6.4-percent advance in prices for traveler accommodation services. The indexes for food and alcohol retailing, portfolio management, machinery and vehicle wholesaling, oil and gas well drilling services, and hospital inpatient care also rose.” Cramer did not hold back in his reaction to the...

FOR two years Priti Patel watched aghast as the numbers of Channel-crossing migrants rose as fast as the £80million she handed to France to tackle them disappeared down Le Plughole. And they are still coming — another 1,065 on Sunday taking the total to nearly 35,000 this year. 1Add them to the channel-crossers and you have the equivalent of the population of BathCredit: Chris Eades Breakthrough talks last week hinted at a new level of cooperation between the two countries but new Home Secretary Suella Braverman rightly doesn’t want to chuck another £50million at the French without conditions. Chief among them is a demand to send our own border officials to patrol French beaches to help tackle the people-smuggling gangs. Ms Braverman knows that without an element of British control we won’t ever see value for money from the slippery French. She must stick to her guns. Meanwhile, extraordinary figures from the Home Office yesterday showed 34,000 Nigerian migrants on student visas brought nearly 32,000 family members with them last year. Add them to the channel-crossers and you have the...
In fact, critics of the Biden administration say the opposite, alleging his policies have incentivized migrants to come to America knowing they will not be deported. Republican governors, for instance, say they are busing migrants from the front lines of the border crisis because the Biden administration is not sufficiently responding to the flood of migrants overwhelming border cities. Immigration, after all, is the responsibility of the federal government, and as the crisis rages on, it becomes more clear the government is abdicating that responsibility. Indeed, the numbers do not lie. In fiscal year 2022, a record number of migrants entered the U.S. — more than 2 million. Unfortunately, there were also a record number of migrant deaths. Despite being tasked with overseeing the border crisis, Harris has not visited the front lines of the crisis. She did, however, visit El Paso last year, but that city is hundreds of miles away from the Rio Grande Valley, where the majority of migrants are entering the U.S.

Renae Eze, the press secretary for Gov. Abbott, made that exact claim in response to Magnus. "Instead of their hypocritical complaints about Texas providing much-needed relief to our overrun and overwhelmed border communities, the Biden administration needs to step up and do their jobs to secure the border — something they continue failing to do," Eze said. Under Biden, the border has been anything but secure. In fiscal year 2022, a record number of migrants entered the U.S. — more than 2 million. That includes a record number of unaccompanied migrants and, unfortunately, a record number of migrant deaths. Ultimately, because immigration is the responsibility of the federal government, the Biden administration is responsible for enforcing existing immigration laws and stopping the border crisis.

Getty Blake Griffin #2 formerly of the Brooklyn Nets laughs. When Blake Griffin signed with the Boston Celtics on September 30, he chose a pretty uncommon number to wear on his jersey, donning the number 91. By wearing the number 91 on his jersey, Griffin is not only the first player in Celtics history to do that, but, according to Gary Washburn, Griffin is wearing it to pay tribute to NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman when he played for the Chicago Bulls from 1995 to 1998. by Natalia Mittelstadt   With midterm elections a month away, an election integrity watchdog has filed multiple lawsuits in Minnesota over duplicate registered voters while also finding millions of voter registrations in New York missing personal identifying information. Public Interest Legal Foundation, a conservative election law nonprofit, filed six lawsuits in Minnesota counties over 515 duplicate registrants. The lawsuits were filed in Nicollet, Dakota, Hennepin, Olmsted, Todd and Ramsey counties. PILF also found that 3.1 million registered voters in New York were missing personal identifying information, such as a driver’s license number or Social Security number, which makes it difficult for the state to accurately maintain its voter rolls. Under the federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA), states are prohibited “from accepting a voter registration unless the voter registration contains a unique identifying number such as the last four digits of a social security number or driver’s license number,” according to a PILF press release. The voter registration issues PILF discovered in Minnesota and New York could allow people to vote in elections twice or someone else to vote in place of someone who has moved or died....
Getty Matthew Stafford gets pressured on October 9, 2022. This was not the repetitive scene the Los Angeles Rams clearly had in mind involving their lead star of their offensive machine Matthew Stafford. The 6-foot-3 Texas gunslinger not so much getting out-dueled three times already in 2022, but dropping back then being dropped to the ground…21 times through five games. And the latest high pressure situation involving the Super Bowl 56 winner witnessed the Dallas Cowboys snatching five sacks as the Rams fell 22-10 on Sunday, October 9. But it’s not the number of times Stafford is getting planted to the ground that’s most startling. One stat revealed what happened to Stafford nearly 50% of the time in the loss to the Cowboys. New Season High for Stafford & Rams Made The Rams front line, this time dealing with Micah Parsons and former NFC West Super Bowl winning coordinator Dan Quinn, surrendered this season high: 45.8%. by Casey Harper   The U.S. economy added 263,000 nonfarm jobs last month, the lowest total new jobs for a month all year. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released the data, which showed the unemployment rate declined slightly to 3.5%. “The unemployment rate edged down to 3.5 percent in September, returning to its July level,” BLS said. “The number of unemployed persons edged down to 5.8 million in September.” That rate varies by demographic. “Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rate for Hispanics decreased to 3.8 percent in September,” BLS said. “The jobless rates for adult men (3.3 percent), adult women (3.1 percent), teenagers (11.4 percent), Whites (3.1 percent), Blacks (5.8 percent), and Asians (2.5 percent) showed little change over the month.” The number of part-time workers who couldn’t find a full-time job decreased as well. “The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons decreased by 306,000 to 3.8 million in September,” BLS said. “These individuals, who would have preferred full-time employment, were working part time because their hours had been reduced or they were unable...

by Bethany Blankley   The executive leadership of the Republican Party of Texas has formally declared an invasion at the Texas southern border. It’s also calling on Gov. Greg Abbott to do what no governor of Texas has ever done before: declare an invasion and protect Texas and Americans from what it says are transnational criminal organizations creating an imminent threat to their lives. The Texas GOP’s State Republican Executive Committee formally declared an invasion in a resolution it passed during its latest quarterly meeting held Sept. 24. The resolution states that during World War II, allied forces totaling about 156,000 landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, on D-Day, June 6, 1944. By comparison, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the number of foreign nationals who’ve illegally entered the U.S. in Texas is equivalent to the number of allied D-Day forces entering every month for the past 18 months. With the Biden administration ending the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico Policy,” Texas could see an increase of an additional 18,000 people illegally entering daily, or the equivalent to...

The second part of Kanye West’s sit down with Tucker Carlson ran on Friday night and began with the rapper going on a long, hard-to-follow rant about corporate America and control. The conversation began with Carlson asking, “Do you talk to Obama still?” Kanye answered saying “our connection faded” and then launched into a long-winded rant about corporate America that was more or less nonsensical. “With Nike. Right. Nike is as famous as you say. Nike’s more famous than PayPal, right? Yeah, right. What number of company you think PayPal is?” asked West. “I don’t know,” replied Carlson. “Number four,” replied Kanye. “Overall,” answered Kanye. “You got. Well, you know, the number one is right? It’s Apple. Yeah.” “I’m forgetting number two, but number three is McDonald’s. Then Space X is maybe six or seven,” Kanye continued. Neither McDonald’s nor Space X are in the top ten most valuable companies in the U.S. by market capitalization. “It’s really interesting that as lit as Elon [Musk] is, his previous company is actually still worth more than Space X,” Kanye continued, adding:...
Senate Democratic leaders and an influential Senate Republican are pushing legislation that would hit back at OPEC+ following the cartel's decision to cut oil production – with Sen. Richard Durbin questioning whether Saudi Arabia was even a U.S. ally. The move comes after the international cartel stunned the administration by announcing a cut of 2 million barrels of oil per day – maintaining high prices amid economic uncertainty and keeping Russian President Vladimir Putin's oil lifeline going amid his brutal war on Ukraine.   Durbin joined Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer in floating 'NOPEC' legislation that, if enacted, would allow for lawsuits in U.S. courts to try to go after OPEC for violation of antitrust rules. It is cosponsored by Republican Sen. Charles Grassley, who is calling for a crackdown on the cartel. 'You wonder, the United States has this nominal alliance with a country which doesn't seem to share our values, and when it comes down to the time of war, the invasion of Ukraine, comes down on the wrong side. I question whether or not they are our allies...
New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the city will to spend at least $1billion to take care of 17,000 migrants being bussed from border states as he declares a state of emergency.  Adams condemned the busing programs spearheaded by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, which has brought thousands to the Big Apple.  The mayor said about five to six busses are arriving every day since September, with nine buses full of migrants arriving yesterday and eight on Friday.  Since April, New York has set up 42 emergency shelters, enrolled 5,500 children in public school and tried to help the asylum seekers connect with family and resources.  Adams warned that the city could ultimately see 100,000 new migrants arrive by the end of the year, which will take its toll on New York's budget.  'We expect to spend at least $1billion by the end of the fiscal year on this crisis, all because we have a functional, a compassionate system,' Adams said.  'Our right to shelter laws, our social services, and our values are being exploited by others for political gain,'...
Hot on the heels of embarrassing reports of Russian recruits fighting each other and Moscow loyalists calling for Kremlin ministers to kill themselves, it seems the rage against Vladimir Putin’s handling of his invasion of Ukraine is now openly being conveyed to the man himself by members of his own inner circle. A report Friday—which is Putin’s 70th birthday—said that one of the despot’s closest allies had openly challenged the disastrous way the war was being conducted. The landmark challenge was even significant enough to be included in U.S. President Joe Biden’s daily intelligence briefing, according to anonymous officials cited by the Washington Post. Although the individual who voiced the dissent was not identified, their discontent was said to center around mistakes being made by those directing the “special military operation” in Ukraine. “Since the start of the occupation we have witnessed growing alarm from a number of Putin’s inner circle,” a Western intelligence official told the Post. “Our assessments suggest they are particularly exercised by recent Russian losses, misguided direction and extensive military shortcomings.” Analysts of the war...

The Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) unveiled its annual heat-associated death report, reporting 339 deaths in 2021, and the county says it is working to bring this number down. “MCDPH continues to work with community partners to raise awareness of prevention strategies and to educate the community about heat-related illness. Getty Victor Wembanyama is being compared to Kevin Durant. The Brooklyn Nets are not going to be in the running for the number one draft pick next summer, so they are far away from the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes. The 7-foot-4 phenom is taking the NBA world by storm, and just about every team around the league had members in attendance for the October 4 matchup between him and other projected top pick Scoot Henderson. It’s looking like both of those players are locked into number one and two respectively, which would mean securing either of those spots would be franchise-changing. Of the two, Wembanyama seems to be capturing more of the headlines, and he’s already drawing huge comparisons to current NBA stars, including Nets forward Kevin Durant.Next Durant Incoming?Every year it seems like there’s another can’t-miss prospect, but a lot of that could boil down to hype. However, Wembanyama seems different as he boasts a massive frame but the type of nimbleness you see guards possess. He looks like he’ll enter the league and become unguardable overnight. Yahoo...

As of Sept. 24, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had 316,700 illegal migrants enrolled in what is known as “Alternatives to Detention,” which uses a facial recognition application, GPS monitoring and telephonic reporting, according to Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), which obtains data through Freedom of Information Act requests. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported in June that most participants were unenrolled before their immigration proceedings concluded, finding that about a quarter of those taken out of the program that were placed on other forms of monitoring fled. The program’s technology is costing taxpayers $361,218.08 per day, according to ICE. In fiscal year 2021, there were 136,026 illegal migrants enrolled in the program. And, in fiscal year 2020, there were 91,793 illegal migrants enrolled in the program at the end of the year. TO the mathematicians out there the digits 1111 might translate to one thousand one hundred and eleven. But for the spiritual among us, this specific number has its own equally specific divine significance. 11111 is an angel numberCredit: Getty Images - Getty What does 1111 mean? This number, among the more spiritually inclined, is thought to have divine significance and be a method for guardian angels to communicate. There are some nuanced disagreements about what each number means but broadly speaking, 1111 is associated with new beginnings and positivity. Many numerologists believe that events relating to the 11:11 times appear more frequently than can be explained by chance or coincidence. That belief is related to the synchronicity concept. Synchronicity is the idea that reoccurring themes in your life represent something universally bigger and mean changes are on their way. Some writers say that 1111 indicates the presence of the spirit. Some, seeing 11:11 is an auspicious sign and the numbers have magical powers themselves. "This is unsustainable. It has been unsustainable for years," Escobar told Melugin. "This is our administration. I’m a Democrat. And you know, they need to understand they own it now," Cuellar said. "They own it now. And they have to take the steps to correct this, otherwise, you know, when are we going to see an end to this?" Speaking to party leadership, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer blamed Republicans for zero progress on immigration legislation. On the other hand, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Melugin that moderate Democrats support securing the border, but will not publicly advocate that support as long as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remains in power.Anything else? The border crisis has resulted in a record number of migrants crossing the border, a record number of "gotaways" — migrants who evade initial detention — and a record number of migrant deaths. Melugin's dogged reporting of the crisis, which often goes viral on social media, has angered the White House. Melugin, however, is clearly not backing down.
