Dear Amy: I have this “thing” about needing to drive, no matter whose vehicle it is. I have to drive. Otherwise, I’m a nervous wreck. Amy Dickinson  This began right after our daughter died in a car wreck in 2006. She was 19. I know this is a mental issue, but being aware of that doesn’t help. I feel like if I drive, everything and everyone will be OK because I’m a very safe driver. I also watch other cars like a hawk. My husband hates this because I adhere to the speed limit, especially on the interstate, where nobody drives the speed limit. He gripes the whole time. He knows why I do this, but it doesn’t stop him from being vocal about how much it annoys him, and that makes me even more nervous. NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Two men robbed a drug dealer of his marijuana, but when they met later to split what they had stolen, one of the robbers shot and killed the other because of his body language, according to Norfolk police. Four days later, a sergeant working an unrelated case spotted a car matching the description of a vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting. Cuffee, who was the driver, was taken...

Toro Rosso, or AlphaTauri as it is now called, has always been a breeding ground for young drivers to test their mettle in F1. Daniil Kvyat, part of the Red Bull drivers’ program, has also occupied a seat at AlphaTauri for some time now. But just a few months ago, rumors emerged about young F2 racer Yuki Tsunoda replacing the Russian for 2021 and beyond. And now, that move is close to being confirmed in the coming days. So has Kvyat really performed that badly to not warrant a seat in the sport next year? Or is there a general notion or consensus that his time in Formula 1 is now up? Daniil Kvyat played a very good supporting role at AlphaTauri in 2020 In the team’s charge to secure P6 in the Constructors’ Standings, Kvyat stood the test of time and partnered Gasly to some impressive team finishes. And although Ferrari just about edged the P6 spot, the Russian’s contributions in 2020 have been notable at times. For a fair statistical comparison, Sebastian Vettel (33) only has one point...
Dear Stoner: I left a jar of weed in an Uber the other night. I didn't contact my driver to try to get it back. Should I have? It was really good weed.Rory Dear Rory: We've posed several weed hypotheticals to Uber over the years and received no response, but the ride-share service's square policies have shown us what to expect, with company guidelines banning cannabis transport in Uber rides by both the rider and passenger, even in states with legal cannabis. In fact, Uber drivers have even reported riders for smelling like weed or possessing it during a trip, which has led to warnings and bans from the service. That said, I've bought weed (or learned where to get it) from Uber drivers on numerous occasions while traveling, so it all comes down to the driver. During the Go Bowling 250, there was a minor moment involving Riley Herbst and Brandon Brown. The #68 and #18 drivers went side-by-side and clipped each other during the race. The good news was that neither driver sustained much damage and they continued on their way. However, both their races got compromised and they tumbled well down the order. Meanwhile, Brown ended up languishing in 14th place. At least they got away unscathed, or their respective teams would have been staring at hefty repair bills. Considering that Richmond is a double-header, teams cannot afford to have badly damaged cars. Otherwise, they would have massive headaches and be rushing to repair them in time. Brandon Brown cannot afford any more tussles Admittedly, Brandon Brown knows that Sunday’s race has to be a blemish-free run, since he is battling for the playoffs. During the clip, the woman, who is wearing a face covering and dressed in a red crop top and denim jeans, parks her car parallel to the fuel pump and realises her gas tank is on the other side. As she looks at her car in a state of confusion, the man recording the video explains: 'The gas tank is on the other side and she already did this once.' The driver, who was filmed at an unknown gas station in the U.S, parks her car and walks...

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – A veteran Plano Police officer was stabbed by the very person he tried to help. It happened around 6:50 this morning at Legacy Drive and Independence Parkway. “The officer does not appear to have life-threatening injuries,” said Plano Police Department spokesman David Tilley. “It’s difficult when one of your co-workers is in the process of trying to help someone and becomes a victim.” The officer pulled up on a traffic crash right after it happened. As he approached one of the cars, the driver got out and stabbed him in once in the upper arm – shoulder area. Thus, he retreated to distance himself from the woman, and the weapon. As he was backing up, according to Tilley, the woman started stabbing the driver of the other car multiple times. The officer then shot and killed the suspect. As for a motive, police are looking into whether or not road rage was a factor. “Did these individuals know each other or was this just a, somebody got upset because of traffic crash and then just kind of...
