The Delaware Supreme Court ruled Monday that the University of Delaware must disclose additional information regarding its deal with President Joe Biden to house his Senate records. The ruling was in response to an appeal filed in the Delaware Supreme Court by Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation in January 2021, which asked for a reversal of the opinion of the Superior Court of Delaware. The Superior Court had blocked the groups’ state public records request for information related to a gift agreement between the University of Delaware and Biden when he donated his Senate records, as well as communications between the university and Biden and his representatives about the release of the records. Reade has previously indicated that information pertaining to her complaint against Biden might be found in his Senate records. Biden has repeatedly denied Reade’s allegations and previously stated that his...
by Ailan Evans  Public relations firm kglobal deleted the company profile of executive Charles Dolan, a former advisor to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, from its website Thursday following his implication as a source of information for Igor Danchenko, a Russian analyst involved in creating the Steele dossier. Danchenko was indicted by Special Counsel John Durham on several counts of lying to the FBI and arrested Thursday, The New York Times first reported. Danchenko, a Russian analyst, was used by British ex-spy Christopher Steele as a primary source of information in creating the infamous Steele dossier, which spurred allegations of collusion between former President Donald Trump and Russia. Danchenko’s indictment revealed that one of the Russian analyst’s primary sources for information was Charles Dolan, who was labeled as “PR Executive-1” and whose identity was confirmed by The New York Times. 404 error message on kglobal’s website when attempting to access Charles Dolan’s profile. Attorneys representing the Daily Caller News Foundation and Judicial Watch took to court Wednesday arguing for access to records and communications about a treasure trove of documents related to President Joe Biden’s time as Senator housed at the University of Delaware. The organizations were appealing a January decision by the Superior Court of Delaware which denied them access under the Delaware Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) to the gift agreement between the university and Biden when he donated his Senate records as well as communications between the university and Biden and his representatives about the release of his Senate records. The university said it will only make the documents public two years after Biden retires from public life. Oral arguments Wednesday centered on whether documents stored in publicly-funded institutions like universities could be accessed through a FOIA request. “How the University of Delaware is storing, maintaining, processing, and releasing President Biden’s Senate records is of concern to the citizens of Delaware and all Americans,” President of Judicial Watch Tom Fitton said in a statement to the DCNF. “During today’s hearing,...
The Daily Caller News Foundation interviewed Iranian-Christian Dimis Christophy, a Loudoun County, Virginia parent who unleashed on his child’s woke public school board during a meeting on August 10th. TRANSCRIPT: Christophy: Just to clear up, I know, King and Queen are not pronouns. I get it. Okay. There’s a lot of people that go, they’re not pronouns. I know that. But you have to realize if because it’s not just pronouns. People are coming out telling me, hey I’m a Mermaid. I’m a cat. I’m a dog. I’m this, I’m that. Who says there’s a limitation on the pronouns at this point or what to be called? So I was like, hey, if that’s what you’re going to do, this is how you’re going to address my kids. And this is how you’re going to address me if you’re hearing my speech. And I said these are not your children. These are my children. My kids don’t go to school to sit in a classroom and the teacher...
Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Thomas Catenacci appeared on “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning to discuss his lawsuit against Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot. Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against Lightfoot on behalf of the DCNF and Catenacci after she denied an interview to Catenacci on the basis of his race. The Chicago mayor, a Democrat, announced last week that she would only grant one-on-one interviews to journalists of color and has refused requests from white reporters. “My reaction at first was kind of shocked,” Catenacci said. “I think that we shouldn’t live in a country where anyone is treated worse than anyone else or given opportunities that anyone else is otherwise given solely because of race.” “Like a lot of people out there, I was just really surprised that an elected official would do something like this,” Catenacci continued. WATCH: Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said during the “Fox & Friends” segment: “In this day and age, to have a government official deny access to reporters or any other American based on their race is extraordinary.” “This is...
The Daily Caller News Foundation and Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Thursday over the mayor’s refusal to grant Thomas Catenacci, a white reporter, an interview. The lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, alleges that Lightfoot’s denial violates the DCNF and Catenacci’s First Amendment rights and Catenacci’s right to equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment. “It’s absurd that an elected official believes she can discriminate on the basis of race,” DCNF Editor-in-Chief Ethan Barton said. “Mayor Lightfoot’s decision is clearly blocking press freedom through racial discrimination.” Lightfoot announced earlier this month that she would grant one-on-one interviews “only to black or brown journalists.” Since then, the Chicago Democrat has not granted interview requests to any white reporters. (RELATED: Tulsi Gabbard Demands Chicago Mayor Resign For ‘Blatant Anti-White Racism’) Catenacci sought to interview Lightfoot about a variety of topics regarding COVID-19 and the city’s efforts to vaccinate its population. “On May 20, 2021, Plaintiff Catenacci requested, by email, a one-on-one interview with Mayor Lightfoot,” the DCNF...
by Mary Margaret Olohan  YouTube deleted a pro-life news outlet’s channel for “violating our COVID-19 misinformation policy,” a spokeswoman told the Daily Caller News Foundation Wednesday. LifeSite News announced the ban Wednesday morning, noting that it cut the site off from its 300,000 followers. “This isn’t a temporary ban,” the site said in a post. “Every single one of our videos is completely gone. Thankfully, we have backups of all our videos, but this means hundreds of thousands of people have lost access to our truth-telling content.” YouTube’s COVID-19 misinformation policy prohibits “content that promotes prevention methods that contradict local health authorities or WHO,” spokeswoman Ivy Choi said. “Any channel that violates our COVID-19 misinformation policy will receive a strike, which temporarily restricts uploading or live-streaming,” Choi said. “Channels that receive three strikes in the same 90-day period will be permanently removed from YouTube.” YouTube has not clarified to the DCNF which of LifeSite’s videos violated its policy. It’s clear: YouTube and Big Tech hate not only LifeSiteNews. They hate youhttps://t.co/nXXHze2T3q — LifeSite Catholic (@LSNCatholic) February 10,...
Dr. Marc Siegel, a Fox News medical contributor and professor of medicine at New York University’s Langone Medical Center, spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Samantha Renck about reopening U.S. cities, his own experience taking the COVID-19 vaccine and more. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, along with other Democratic mayors and governors, recently supported reopening his state in a tweet. “We simply cannot stay closed until the vaccine hits critical mass. The cost is too high. We will have nothing left to open. We must reopen the economy, but we must do it smartly and safely,” Cuomo said. “I don’t know what’s left to reopen. Look at the streets of Manhattan,” Siegel told the DCNF. “Granted, the construction workers are filling the potholes and there’s a lot of activity in construction, but I don’t see a lot of open restaurants.” “We don’t have the opera. We don’t have movies, obviously. I’m questioning how much is too far gone to reopen at this point,” he said. An accountability group connected to the World Health Organization pushed to praise China’s COVID response, emails obtained through a Daily Caller News Foundation lawsuit show. The lawsuit was filed after HHS failed to respond to an April 1, 2020, FOIA request from the DCNF asking for communications about the coronavirus between Dr. Anthony Fauci, Deputy Director Clifford Lane, and WHO officials. “There was consensus for the GPMB to issue a statement supportive of countries’ (especially China) and WHO response efforts, and to call for urgent actions to further strengthen global preparedness and response to this outbreak,” an email from a group connected to WHO to Dr. Anthony Fauci said. An accountability group connected to the World Health Organization pushed to praise China’s COVID response, emails obtained through a Daily Caller News Foundation lawsuit show. The Global Preparedness Monitoring Board Secretariat, which works independently but is hosted by the WHO, sent a Jan. 28 email to Dr. Fauci with the subject line “TIME SENSITIVE Message from GPMB Co-Chairs: review of draft GPMB Statement on 2019-novel coronavirus.” The January email...
A federal judge on Thursday rejected the government’s efforts to further delay the release of select coronavirus-related communications between top U.S. officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, as part of a Daily Caller News Foundation lawsuit. Judge Dabney L. Friedrich of the District of Columbia ruled on Sept. 21 that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) must begin releasing 300 responsive records per month beginning on Oct. 21. There are approximately 4,200 records relevant to the DCNF’s request for certain communications concerning the coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) and China, meaning the release will not be completed until 2022. “People have every right under the law to see the communications between our government agencies (including Dr. Fauci), China and the WHO at the outset of this pandemic that has killed so many Americans and destroyed our economy. We are happy that Judge Friedrich agreed with our position that the government should not be able to keep this information secret,” DCNF President Neil Patel said in a statement Thursday. “However, the fact that the document production doesn’t have to...
Progressive congressional nominee Cori Bush filed her financial disclosure with the House of Representatives on Saturday after the Daily Caller News Foundation reported earlier in August she was at least a year late in filing the report as required by federal law. Bush is all but certain to become the first black woman to represent Missouri in Congress following her victory over 10-term Rep. William Lacy Clay Jr. in the state’s Democratic primary on Aug. 4. The progressive activist was supported by Justice Democrats, the outside political action committee that was instrumental in New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ascent to Congress in 2018. Bush’s financial disclosure reveals she has collected $31,607 from her campaign in 2020 in the form of a salary which the report notes is “allowed by FEC regulations.” FEC regulations state that candidates such as Bush may only pay themselves a salary up to “what the candidate received as earned income in the previous year.” Bush reported earning $32,367 in 2019, meaning she’ll meet the FEC’s salary threshold if she takes in an additional $760 from her...
The Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) and Judicial Watch announced on Wednesday that it is suing the University of Delaware for access to Joe Biden's Senate records. According to DCNF, Judicial Watch filed the joint lawsuit in the Superior Court of Delaware related to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests both groups made back in April in hopes of obtaining documents from Biden's decades-long career as the Delaware senator as well as any logs of those "who have visited the location where the records are stored." The lawsuit comes after the Delaware Department of Justice denied DCNF's appeal on July 1 when its FOIA request was previously denied. “The University of Delaware should do the right thing and turn over Joe Biden’s public records as required by law,” DCNF President Neil Patel said. “Partisan gamesmanship by a public university is unseemly and unlawful. If they don’t want to do the right thing, we will force them in court.” ROSE MCGOWAN URGES TRUMP TO DONATE TO TARA READE FUNDRAISER 'IN BIDEN'S NAME' “The University of Delaware should stop protecting Joe Biden and provide...
The Daily Caller News Foundation and Judicial Watch are suing the University of Delaware for all records it holds from former Vice President Joe Biden’s Senate career. The university had originally agreed to release the records from Biden’s 36-year career in the Senate two years after his “last day in elected public office.” The university changed the agreement just hours before Biden announced his presidential campaign in April. It now says it will release the records two years after he “retires from public life.” “The University of Delaware should do the right thing and turn over Joe Biden’s public records as required by law,” said DCNF President Neil Patel. The Daily Caller News Foundation and Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the University of Delaware for access to all records from former Vice President Joe Biden’s Senate career that are housed in the university’s library, the DCNF and Judicial Watch announced Wednesday. Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit in the Superior Court of Delaware on behalf of itself and the DCNF related to Freedom of Information Act requests...
