This is according to documents viewed by the New York Times, who first reported the story.  "After hearing from the Emirates, Amazon had its Restricted Products team take steps to remove individual product listings, and a team that manages the company's search abilities hid the results for more than 150 keywords," the Times wrote in its report. Those keywords included "lgbtq," "pride," "closeted gay" and "transgender flag," among others, the report said.  A search for "LGBT" and "LGBTQ" on Amazon's UAE site on Friday, July 1, produced no results. Zoom in / New image of the entire planet Mars taken by Emirates Exploration “Hope”. The mission of the United Arab Emirates to explore Mars Since arriving on Mars eight months ago, the Emirates Mars Exploration Mission has quietly begun to provide some intriguing scientific data on Mars’ atmosphere and weather. The study, known as “Seraba”, is in a relatively high orbit, with altitudes ranging from 20,000 to 43,000 km above the surface of Mars. This overview allows the spacecraft to see the entire hemisphere simultaneously. This year’s most optimistic study of Mars trained its multi-band imager, infrared spectrum and ultraviolet spectrum to gather information about the planet’s atmosphere and the resulting weather conditions. The project was funded by the United Arab Emirates and the spacecraft was built in collaboration with several American universities, including Boulder University in Colorado. The aim is to encourage Emirati youth to pursue their math and science education and to train some of them collaboratively. Study run In July 2020, with a Japanese missile. In the United Arab Emirates they are already producing rain at will, and this is how their innovative technology works. The lack of rain is one of the main problems that is plaguing a large part of the world’s communities, a shortage derived from the geographical position but also from climate change, which is causing many people to not be able to count on such a precious asset and that should never be in short supply. And now thanks to technology, and also to a lot of economic investment, it is possible to practically create natural rain at the will of man, and this is done using drones, electric shocks and a lot of imagination. As reported by Vanguard, via Businessinsider, in the United Arab Emirates, specifically in Dubai, they have thought of an innovative way to fight against the high temperatures that usually reach, at this time, 50 ° C, and for this they are creating their own rain sheltering in the most avant-garde technology. To be able to create that natural rain at will, they are using the...

Thomas Barrack, founder and chairman of Colony Capital LLC, listens during a Bloomberg Television interview in New York on July 18, 2016.Chris Goodney | Bloomberg | Getty Images The arrest Tuesday of a key Trump ally, who is accused of lobbying illegally for the United Arab Emirates, helps illustrate how deeply the oil-rich Middle Eastern country had ingratiated itself with the United States during the Trump administration. Between arms deals and diplomatic accords, the UAE, a relatively small crescent of land nestled between Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf, played a major part in former President Donald Trump's policy in the region. An indictment filed Tuesday in New York federal court alleges that Tom Barrack, a longtime friend and business associate of Trump's, worked for years to develop that relationship by secretly furthering UAE interests through his influence with Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and his administration. Barrack, a 74-year-old private equity billionaire who was chairman of Trump's 2017 inaugural fund, was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. The seven-count indictment also accuses Barrack of obstruction of justice and making...

I was thirteen Angel Di Maria in search of a title with the Argentina Senior National Team, after winning the U-20 World Cup and the Gold Medal in Beijing 2008 with youth categories, and finally arrived with the America Cup 2021 in the Maracana itself. For him it has a special meaning of perseverance and that is why he decided to tattoo the trophy. He missed the finals of the 2014 World Cup (also in Maracana), Copa América 2015 and 2016 against Chile. All due to injury or muscle discomfort that left him unable to live those unique moments. He declared that he will always have doubts about what would have happened in the past definitions with him on the court. That doubt was not in 2021 because he started and scored the only goal of the commitment, with a “hat” to goalkeeper Ederson. One of the countries, on the other side of the world, that are suffering from the strong heat waves that have been felt in the summer, they are the United Arab Emirates, where they have been registered temperatures of almost 50 ° C. Faced with this situation, the National Meteorology Center of that country explained to the Gulf News that cloud seeding operations were carried out to increase rainfall. The agency issued meteorological alerts for the east of the country due to the possibility of convective cloud formations associated with more precipitation and winds with speeds of 40 km / h that cause displacement of dust and sand. Finally, the rains were registered this Wednesday and Thursday in several regions, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Convective clouds form due to high temperatures on the Earth’s surface, which cause warm, humid air to rise through the cooler surrounding air in the atmosphere. Given the situation, in recent years, the authorities of the United Arab Emirates have been developing new technologies to induce rains in their territory. In fact, in...

France will be one of the most present European countries at the IDEX defense exhibition in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which opens its doors this Sunday in a complicated health context. DUBAI – Nothing says social distancing quite like Dubai’s RoboCafe, where robots have replaced their human overlords. Customers can place their orders with German-made robots, who then prepare and deliver it straight to their tables. “It’s a good idea, especially right now,” said Emirati customer Jamal Ali Hassan, whose piping hot beverage was delivered with no spills. “Restaurant turnouts are low, so I would expect that this idea would be popular … You order online and the robot works in front of you and gets you whatever you want within minutes.” RoboCafe has been in the works for more than two years, but its launch was delayed from March 2020 due to the pandemic. It finally opened last June, when restrictions in the United Arab Emirates were relaxed. The RoboCafe was created with support from Dubai’s government artificial intelligence initiative. Advancing slightly to the entry into orbit of China’s Tianwen-1 space probe, and after no less than seven months of travel, finally the United Arab Emirates’ Hope probe has successfully reached the orbit of Mars, in an operation that was carried out autonomously by the probe. And is that given the enormous distance between both planets, the radio orders have a delay of several minutes between the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in Dubai (MBRSC) and the probe, so that the control could not intervene if something went wrong during this delicate mission. So the probe has successfully performed the critical maneuver to slow down and allow Mars gravity to catch you. Otherwise, Hope would have bypassed and continued traveling into deep space. Six Delta V thrusters were responsible for slowing the cruising speed, which went from 121,000 kilometers per hour to “only” about 18,000 kilometers per hour. Almost half of the 800 kilograms of fuel that Hope was equipped with have been used in this maneuver that has lasted about half an hour. Unlike her fellow missionaries, who...

A robotic probe owned by the United Arab Emirates is set to go into orbit on Mars on Tuesday. For task managers in Dubai, this was the annoying climax of their first trip to the UAE. If you win, then Amalas This study will scan the atmosphere of Mars. The Emirates Cabinet hopes that this work will also promote a new field of science and technology as the Gulf Government wants to prevent its economy from becoming dependent on oil. As the Earth and Mars orbit the Sun, the Exploration of Hope was launched last July from the Thane Kashima Space Center in Japan. Now, after more than 300 million miles, Hope wants to do a complex and complete autonomous maneuver called the insertion of Mars’ orbit at 10:30 p.m. ET. It is not known whether the Interior Office at the Mission Management Center in Dubai started work by 10.42pm. ET due to a 22-minute delay back and forth on NASA’s Deep Space Network. Umar Shariff Photography DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The United Arab Emirates announced that Emirati nationality will now be attainable for foreigners, in a major first for the region. The move is a significant change in direction for a country whose economy relies heavily on expatriates, for whom residency is typically contingent on their employment visas.  The UAE passport, which is ranked as one of the best in the world for mobility, will be offered to select foreigners and professionals including "investors, doctors, specialists, inventors, scientists, talents, intellectuals, artists and their families," according to the announcement.  "The United Arab Emirates has approved amendments ... allowing investors, professionals, special talents and their families to acquire the Emirati nationality and passport under certain conditions," the UAE government's WAM news agency said in a release on Saturday.  "The step aims at appreciating the talents and competencies present in the UAE and attracting more bright minds to the Emirati community in a way that contributes to the development and prosperity of the country." Religious Jews fought a rebellion against Hellenization and reclaimed the Holy Temple. Upon reconquering it, they found only enough oil to last for one night, but it miraculously burned for eight. NAHLAYIM RANCH, Golan Heights (Reuters) - The buzz of tiny rotors has replaced dog barks and bullwhips on this Israeli ranch, where drones are being used to herd and observe cattle. The remote-controlled quadcopters hover near the cows, which move along in response while live video is relayed back to the farmers. "Using a drone, instead of cowboys and dogs, creates a much less stressful environment for the animals, and an animal that is less stressful is a lot healthier and more productive," said Noam Azran, CEO of BeeFree Agro, the firm developing the method. The drones also offer more efficient control of large droves and pastures, he said, adding that there has been interest from the United Arab Emirates, which in September established formal relations with Israel.
