An international women's friendly match had to be brought to a standstill when an eager dog invaded the pitch.  The hilarious moment happened on June 26 in the match between Chile and Venezuela at La Granja stadium in Curico.  With the scored tied 0-0 in the 36th minute, video footage showed the black dog strolling on the touchline as photographers stroked it.  Moments later, the Venzeuela team beat Chile's press at the back before winning a throw and the dog wasted no time in snatching the opportunity to enter the pitch. It demanded and got pats and belly rubs from Chilean goalkeeper Christiane Endler before getting the same treatment from the referee.  The match between Chile and Venezuela had to be brought to a standstill when an eager dog invaded the pitch The animal then demanded and got pats from Chilean goalkeeper Christiane Endler (right) It took two players and what looked to be a ball-boy to eventually get the dog off the pitch RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 Next David Beckham's Inter Miami are set to receive...

Ukrainian refugees are being turned away at the U.S. southern border because asylum seekers are still subject to coronavirus-era Title 42, which allows migrants to be expelled due to the ongoing health emergency. President Joe Biden has kept the Trump-era policy in place and his administration has defended it in court in order to help quell the southern border crisis as the pandemic prevails and record numbers of migrants arrive. Immigration advocates have been calling for an end to enforcing Title 42 – even though the U.S. is still in a state of emergency – and calls have increased this week as Ukrainians begin to arrive and request asylum, according to San Diego affiliate CBS8. The outlet said Tijuana journalists have witnessed dozens of Ukrainian and Russian families gathering outside the U.S. southern border and families in Tijuana claim Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents are selective of who they let in. Vicente Calderon, editor for Tijuanapress.com, said: 'Even people with humanitarian parole, it would take a long time for them to get a waiver. Some are allowed to get...
