Meghan Markle is the eighth most admired member of the Royal Family, despite the controversy that has followed her and Prince Harry since 'Megxit' two years ago. The Duchess of Sussex, 41, is well-liked by younger Brits, aged 18 to 25, a new survey conducted by The Sun has revealed. The survey, which polled 2,000 Brits, indicated she was the least-favoured royal among people over the age of 65. Meghan, who was admired by 9 per cent of the poll, has more public support than her husband's uncle Prince Edward and nephew Prince George. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton were the most favoured royals, being admired by 23 and 20 per cent of survey-takers, respectively.  Harry, 38, was more highly regarded than his wife and admired by 16 per cent of overall survey-takers. He is still not as popular as new King Charles and Princess Anne. The Sussexes have been surrounded by controversy since they quit being working royals in 2020. The pair, who said they wanted a more private lifestyle, have received global backlash over allegations they've made in...

Meghan, the “narcissistic sociopath” Things got so bad between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their royal staff that they called her a “narcissistic sociopath.” They also reportedly said on repeated occasions: “We were played.” The fresh revelations are contained in the second extract from the London Times royal correspondent Valentine Low’s new book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, in today’s Sunday Times. The group of former staff even came up with a name for themselves, the “Sussex Survivors’ Club”; their key members were private secretary Sam Cohen, communications chief Sara Latham, and assistant press secretary Marnie Gaffney. In the first extract published Friday, Low detailed the alleged bullying of staff undertaken by Meghan (and Harry)—denied emphatically by them—which reportedly left their staff “broken” and “shaking with fear.” Part of the problem of dealing with Meghan’s alleged bullying, according to one source, was the supposed gentility and civility of palace...

Meghan Markle had some emotional moments after the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II, capping a long 10 days in which she and her husband, Prince Harry, were heavily scrutinized by the world media and subject to what their supporters believe were deliberate and unnecessary snubs by a royal family eager to put the California exiles in their place. The Duchess of Sussex looked particularly bereft after she and Prince Harry attended the queen’s committal service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Former BBC News Editor Jon Sopel took the British media to task over the tone of their coverage on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Sopel joined Chris Jansing, Andrea Mitchell and Katy Tur on Monday — as the three MSNBC anchors were in the U.K. for live coverage on the Queen’s state funeral. The conversation revolved around the “family issues” King Charles III will have to deal with after the funeral, including the British royal family’s relationship with Harry and Markle. Tur noted that Markle has been “the top of headlines in gossip papers and tabloids” while she and her husband have been in Britain to join the royal family during the national period of mourning. Much of the commentary towards Markle and Harry has been exceedingly negative as a reflection of the two’s estranged relationship with the royal family and the damaging accusations they’ve made against the Windsors. Sobel spoke to this point, saying, “I think some of the coverage about Meghan and Harry has been bitchy and unpleasant.” “They’ve come over...

According to James, the Duke of Sussex, 38, appeared to be struggling the most during the service for...

Many British people are finding Meghan Markle’s presence after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II “hard to stomach,” according to Piers Morgan. Covering the queen’s funeral on Fox News on Monday, both Morgan and Sharon Osbourne blasted Markle and her past comments suggesting there could be racism in the royal family after a comment about her baby’s skin color. “Of course, the whole racist thing was atrocious. And it is like, if you were going to talk about it, then say who said it and what they did say, but the thing is you can’t believe anything after that interview because of the 17 lies that were told,” Osbourne said. Morgan argued the royal family is “of course” not racist and said he finds it “quite hard to forgive” her past criticisms of the family, even in a time of mourning. He recalled Prince William declaring definitively in an interview later that he was not part of a “racist” family. “He was asked, sir, are you part of a racist family? And he just snapped and turned to the reporter...
