Many of us are looking for cheaper alternatives to dry out clothes and this heated airer is great alternative to a tumble dryer, as well as also being under £40. Laura said: "I have just wasted my whole bloody day looking for those electric airers. ...

House Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas on Wednesday demanded his Democratic colleagues stand united with the GOP in demanding access to the full affidavit used in the FBI's investigation of Donald Trump. He accused Democrats who were opposed to that of being 'against transparency'  and 'running cover' for the FBI during a heated House Judiciary hearing. That affidavit was used to obtain a warrant that cleared the way for federal agents to raid the former president's Mar-a-Lago mansion in early August. 'What in the hell are my colleagues afraid of in seeing the full unredacted version?' Roy questioned during the hearing.  'The American people right now are tired of seeing the power of government being used against them.' He continued, 'As a former federal prosecutor in a United States Attorney's Office, I absolutely respect the many men and women I worked with going after bad guys -  something I wish my Democratic colleagues would more often like to do, by the way.' 'But the power centralized in the FBI under the Attorney General of the United States being used...
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Dr. Anthony Fauci added another heated clash to their growing list of contentious exchanges on Wednesday. Fauci was testifying before a Senate committee on Wednesday when he and Paul got into fiery back-and-forths about Fauci’s view on immunology, as well as whether anyone in the FDA had financial conflict of interests stemming from the Covid-19 vaccine. Paul began his questioning by replaying old clips of Fauci. In one, he said that a previous flu infection is the best way to fight future infections, more so than vaccination. “When people decry vaccine hesitancy, it’s coming from the gobbledygook that you give us. You’re not paying attention to the science,” Paul said. “The very basic science is that previous infection provides a level of immunity. If you ignore that in your studies, if you don’t present that in your committees, you’re not being truthful.” Fauci appeared genuinely perplexed when he got a chance to respond, saying he’s never questioned “fundamental immunology” and he even has some credible expertise on the subject. “I have never, ever denied fundamental...
CNN’s S.E. Cupp and David Urban got into a heated debate over Monday’s FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Little is known about the circumstances of the raid. According to the New York Times, the search concerned classified documents that Trump took from the White House after he left office. During Wednesday’s CNN Newsroom With Alisyn Camerota and Victor Blackwell, Blackwell asked Urban, who was an adviser on Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns and served in the Trump administration, why potential 2024 GOP presidential contenders like former Vice President Mike Pence, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have blasted the raid. Urban replied that there was the outrage because of what those critics saw as overreach by the Department of Justice. “I think Republicans writ large care a great deal about overreach from the Department of Justice and from the federal government writ large, right?” he said. “I think that small government, you know, Republicans, small government Republicans find this repugnant and repulsive, in...
One Republican lawmaker showed off his guns over Zoom, while Democrats blasted their GOP colleagues for allowing mass shootings to happen due to their resistance to gun control laws, during Thursday's heated House Judiciary Committee hearing.  Lawmakers held a markup session for the 'Protecting Our Kids Act,' which combines eight pieces of legislation in the latest Congressional gun control push on the heels of mass shootings in Buffalo, Robb Elementary School in Uvalve, Texas and Wednesday night's killings in Tulsa.  The bill would raise the purchasing age of certain semiautomatic centerfire rifles from 18 to 21 - as the shooters in Buffalo and Uvalve were both 18. It also goes after high-capacity magazines, ghost guns and bump stocks and mandates certain requirements for firearms storage on residential facilities.  Republican Rep. Greg Steube of Florida displayed his own collection of guns over Zoom during Thursday's heated House Judiciary Committee hearing marking up gun control legislation 'I'm at my house, I can do whatever I want with my guns,' Rep. Greg Steube told Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee during Thursday's House Judiciary Committee hearing  Republican Rep. Ken Buck of...

Megyn Kelly and Marianne Williamson went head-to-head in a debate over presidential lawlessness and the importance of natural gas. Williamson was a guest on The Megyn Kelly Show on Tuesday and began the conversation by saying, “Eisenhower said that the American mind at its best is both liberal and conservative. We are E Pluribus Unum, we are different political views, we are different ideologies. … But there must be some unifying principles on which we agree to agree.” “Whether it’s Biden that is behaving in an outrageous way or it is Trump behaving in an outrageous way, we shouldn’t respond to these things just as Republicans or Democrats. We should respond to them as Americans,” Williamson said. Kelly then began to list instances of power grabs by previous presidents including President Joe Biden. “We see Joe Biden do things like the eviction moratorium, which he knew, he knew was unlawful,” Kelly said. “And the same thing with the mandate on the vaccines, he knew it was going to get struck down but he did it anyway.” “If we’re going to...

25 TV characters we love to hate How Much Every State Can Make From Legalized Marijuana Things are not going well in Indianapolis. That was more than evident in the Pacers’ blowout 104-93 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night after assistant coach Greg Foster erupted on center Goga Bitadze in the third quarter. “We’re in a frustrating stretch here,” head coach Nate Bjorkgren said, via the Indianapolis Star. “A lot going on with the challenges of navigating through a season. The competitive juices are flowing and things like that will happen.” Pacers assistant lights up Goga Bitadze The incident took place in the third quarter after Kings forward Maurice Harkless drove through the lane and threw down a dunk over Bitadze, who just stopped and watched it happen at the rim. Bitadze then hit a 3-pointer at the other end on the next possession. As he was running back down the court to play defense, he appeared to turn to Foster and tell him to “sit the f*** down.” That didn’t sit well with Foster, who erupted...
Walker Get Heated, Mets Offense Goes Cold in Chilly Loss to Cubs 3-1 By: Daniel Marcillo April 20, 2021 ShareTweetFlipRedditThe New York Mets are no strangers to ugly weather this season, but that does not mean they get used to it. Taijuan Walker started strong but did not have a happy finish at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. Walker threw 3.2 hitless innings but failed to make it out of the fourth inning after allowing two singles and three consecutive walks. He needed 91 pitches in his outing and was thrown out in the 3-1 loss. After being pulled from the game, Taijuan Walker had some words for home plate umpire John Libka on his way to the dugout and was subsequently ejected pic.twitter.com/RSvuzA9FTj — SNY (@SNYtv) April 21, 2021 While Walker failed to make it through the fourth inning, his demise began in the third inning. Sharon Osbourne was 'set up to fail' by CBS bigwigs over her defense of Piers Morgan and was forced to take part in a debate, despite asking to be allowed to clear the air with a monologue, DailyMail.com can reveal. The debate, which aired on last Wednesday's episode of The Talk, left Osbourne, 68, facing racism claims and a backlash over her comments. On Friday, the British host had to issue an apology over her defense of Morgan who quit Good Morning Britain last week following a row over whether Meghan Markle was telling the truth during her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. Now insiders have told DailyMail.com they believe Osbourne was 'set up to fail' by CBS bigwigs on a cost-cutting drive and said the TV veteran has also been targeted because of jealousy over her salary. A source with close links to the show said: '1000 per cent they set her up to fail. Sharon's been doing this so long that she doesn't really think about what the grand scheme is. 'I think this is an exercise that...
President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the DOJ will “immediately surge federal law enforcement to the city of Chicago” in response to violent crime in th city. On Fox News’ The Five, Juan Williams got a little heated with co-host Jesse Watters over the president sending federal agents to cities like Chicago and Portland. Watters defended the president’s action and said federal law enforcement is going “to just arrest anarchists, protect federal property, stop illegal gun trafficking, and now they’re compared to Nazis.” Shannon Bream agreed that “these accusations are incredible,” ripping one Democratic congressman who said the president wants to instigate a race war. Watters asked Williams about “that kind of language used against American law enforcement officials.” Williams called the president’s decision a “pure political play” to change the conversation. When Watters jumped in, Williams exclaimed, “You went on and on. Can I speak for a second?” “Yeah, answer the question!” Watters responded. “I’m answering the question!” Williams shot back. “I’m telling you this president is trying to change the conversation away from his failed handling of...
By MATT OTT SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — The supercharged U.S. political landscape has grown potentially more perilous for companies ahead of the 2020 presidential election as Goya, a food company with a tremendously loyal following, discovered this week. The company that makes products used in many Hispanic cuisines, but whose following extends well outside of that range, is getting some backlash after its CEO praised President Donald Trump at a White House event. Goya was founded in Manhattan in 1936 by Prudencio Unanue and his wife Carolina, immigrants from Spain. The company calls itself the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States. Robert Unanue, a grandson and now Goya CEO, spoke at a Rose Garden event announcing a “Hispanic Prosperity Initiative” on Thursday. “We are truly blessed, at the same time, to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder,” Unanue said standing at a podium beside Trump. Almost immediately, #BoycottGoya, #GoyaFoods and #Goyaway began trending on social media platforms with scorn coming seemingly from all directions, including Hollywood and Washington. That backlash was countered online...
Two groups of dueling protesters in St. Louis, Mo., got into a heated debate over the weekend over whether to remove a statue of the city's namesake. A crowd of around 200 people gathered Saturday near the “Apotheosis of St. Louis," the formal name for the bust of King Louis IX of France, which sits atop a hill in the city's Forest Park neighborhood, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. “He’s gonna come down,” said protester Umar Lee. “This guy right here represents hate and we’re trying to create a city of love. We’re trying to create a city where Black lives matter. We’re trying to create a city where there is no antisemitism or Islamophobia … this is not a symbol of our city in 2020.” CHRISTIAN FIGURES, SYMBOLS TARGETED AMID ONGOING PROTESTS VideoProtesters claimed Louis IX held anti-Semitic views and was an Islamophobe. During his reign in the 1200s, he launched two crusades against Muslims, ordered the burning of manuscripts of the Talmud, a sacred Jewish text, and issued orders to expel Jewish subjects, The Times of Israel reported. Catholics...
Several of today’s top streamers got into a heated argument on Twitter that resulted in Ninja bringing up Alinity’s controversy with her cats. This whole drama started because of comments xQc made Monday night on Twitch. He revealed that some streamers on Twitch get paid to do charity streams. Charity streams are exactly how they sound, a streamer will broadcast themselves (typically playing games) while allowing people to donate in an effort to raise charity. But as xQc pointed out, some streamers earn money from doing a charity stream. Warning: video contains explicit language MORE: Ninja and Shroud became free agents after Mixer ends This of course is not the case with all charity streams. Dr. Lupo, a friend of Ninja’s and another top streamer on Twitch, often does charity streams for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. In fact, earlier this month, Dr. Lupo raised $965,683.09 in his charity stream. He wanted to make things clear on Tuesday that he has never been paid for one of his charity streams. From an r/LivestreamFail post on Reddit regarding @xQc stating that...
