    Prince William's equerry, who appears to be building a legion of fans thanks to his dashing looks, is a Royal Navy officer who's worked for the Royal Household since 2020.  Lieutenant Commander Rob Dixon was spotted by royal watchers after accompanying the royals to last night's Westminster Hall vigil. An equerry is an  officer of a royal household or court, who assists members of the royal family with their duties. The role, which is normally occupied by a senior officer from one of the armed services, is held for three years.     A woman was brutally slashed across the face and back by her boyfriend during the busy morning rush in a New York City subway station. The attack was reported at 9:19 a.m. on Tuesday morning inside of Fulton Street Station in lower Manhattan. Officers from the New York Police Department (NYPD) found a 49-year-old woman profusely bleeding from her head after what they called a 'domestic dispute.' She can be seen sitting on the ground in footage from the station, surrounded by huge splashes of blood with a towel to her face.     A 71-year-old Florida man who served 31 years behind bars for marijuana-related offenses was freed from state prison on Tuesday. Richard DeLisi had been serving the longest sentence in the country for nonviolent marijuana-related charges before he was released on Tuesday from the South Bay Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility in Palm Beach County. ‘It's really an amazing feeling but I knew it was a long time coming,’ DeLisi told WTVX-TV.
