Getty Images Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham Jr. seemed to enjoy his visit with the Dallas Cowboys but the team has serious concerns about his health after seeing him up close. Beckham visited the Cowboys on Monday after intense recruiting from the Dallas players and even Jerry Jones. However, the team looks to be changing its tune on adding Beckham due to concerns over his availability. Beckham went through a physical with the Cowboys but did not go through a workout, which was a red flag for the squad. Jane Slater of NFL Network reported that Beckham left Dallas without a deal on the table, which seemed unlikely with all the build-up prior to the visit. “I’m told there was no offer to OBJ made per a source informed. Serious concerns about ability to play this season,” Slater tweeted. “In the absence of seeing him run routes, seeing him cut…they are forced to evaluate the information they have. Doesn’t seem as optimistic as it was pre-visit.” Slater noted that the Cowboys have taken risks...
Getty Bijan Robinson had an unofficial visit with the Dallas Cowboys. All eyes have been on Odell Beckham Jr., but there was another star playmaker who was in the Dallas Cowboys’ building in recent days. According to Fort Worth Star-Telgram’s Clarence Hill Jr., Texas star running back Bijan Robinson attended the Cowboys-Colts game on December 4, 2022 where he connected with Ezekiel Elliott. Robinson was also spotted at The Star the following day with many awaiting his decision on the NFL draft. “Texas running back Bijan Robinson, a prospective first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, was at the Cowboys-Colts game ‘visiting,'” Hill tweeted on December 5. “He may or may not have hung out little with running back Ezekiel Elliott and his peeps.” Robinson is projected by many analysts to be the first running back selected in the upcoming draft. While it is not an official pre-draft visit, the news is interesting given the uncertain futures of both Elliott and Tony Pollard. “Bijan Robinson is at the Cowboys headquarters today. His visit to Dallas continues,”...
NFL analysts strongly react to reports concerning Buffalo Bills' free agency target Odell Beckham Jr. and his health status. While the Buffalo Bills have largely kept details of Odell Beckham Jr.’s free agency visit under wraps, one of their biggest competitions to land the wide receiver, the Dallas Cowboys, have not been shy about rolling out the red carpet for the three-time Pro Bowler. Amid Beckham’s trip to Dallas, a new report concerning the 30-year-old’s health status turned heads on Tuesday, December 6. ESPN‘s Ed Werder tweeted, “Source: The #Cowboys have concerns after Odell Beckham Jr.’s physical that his recovery from torn left ACL in Super Bowl has not progressed enough to ensure he would play before mid-January and possibility exists signing him would have no benefit until 2023 season.” The timing of Werder’s report was suspicious for several NFL analysts tracking the Beckham sweepstakes. WKBW‘s Matthew Bové tweeted, “This is just my opinion and I could absolutely be wrong, but the more reports I see about injury concerns for OBJ, the more I think someone in Dallas...
Getty Images Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The New York Giants are viewed as long-shots to land free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. with the Dallas Cowboys remaining the favorites, and his recent comments seem to echo those beliefs. Everything is nice,” Beckham said, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “I plead the fifth on everything else.” Beckham was also asked what the Cowboys’ changes were to sign him. “It’s a good possibility,” Beckham told ESPN’s Tim MacMahon while at the Mavericks game. The Giants and Buffalo Bills visited with Beckham prior to the Dallas visit. However, he is not expected to work out for any of the three franchises. The three-time Pro Bowler has not played since the Super Bowl where he suffered...
Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. may or may not have dropped a major hint about potentially signing with Dallas Cowboys during visit. The Dallas Cowboys‘ interest in free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is no secret. The team and its players have been very public in expressing how much they want Beckham to join them as they make a push for a potential Super Bowl run this year. The team had their chance on Monday, Dec. 5, as they hosted Beckham for a two-day visit. On Monday night, Beckham was spotted entering American Airlines Center for the Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns game. He didn’t attend the game alone, as he went alongside Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and cornerback Trevon Diggs. Beckham, Parsons, and Diggs were sitting court side in Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ seat, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. Videos come courtesy of Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News and NBA TV. Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey speaks out on free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s visit to Buffalo over the weekend. After months of speculation, the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes will soon come to a close. Buffalo Bills superstar Von Miller has been publicly campaigning for the wide receiver to join him in Orchard Park since before the 2022 NFL season started and this past weekend, Beckham had his official visit with the team While Miller said on his podcast last week, “I don’t think he’s going to leave,” after visiting Highmark Stadium, his former teammate visited with the New York Giants before flying to Buffalo, and on Monday, December 5, met with the Dallas Cowboys. NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport reported that Beckham will make his final decision by “mid-week.” During a press conference on Monday, Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey became the first coach to make a public comment about Beckham’s visit. “The biggest thing is, obviously, he’s a heck of a player,” Dorsey said. “But, we feel like we’ve got a lot of great players on...
Getty Odell Beckham Jr. appears to have his sights set on the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys are meeting with Odell Beckham Jr. beginning on Monday, December 5, 2022, and the team is hoping the playmaker does not leave The Star without a new contract. Jones admitted that he is willing to get “uncomfortable” in their pursuit of Beckham, hinting at the possible health and financial risks associated with adding the wideout. For context, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on October 13 that Beckham was expecting a “Michael Gallup-type offer from the Rams.” Gallup signed a five-year, $57 million contract with the Cowboys last offseason despite sustaining a season-ending ACL injury. It remains to be seen whether Beckham is still expecting this kind of offer from other teams, or if Dallas is willing to sign the playmaker to a lucrative deal after coming off a significant ACL injury. “Whether I’m comfortable or not, now I realize your question, and so that says would you do something like that if you’re comfortable enough?” Jones told reporters on...
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is keen for Odell Beckham Jr. to join his franchise as he admitted he's 'going to to try to make it work'. The free agent is due to meet the team on Monday as part of his tour in search of a new home to play football. The NFL star flew private last week after American Airlines booted him off a plane in Miami for 'refusing to wear a seatbelt'. He has torn the ACL in the knee twice and has been rehabbing all season after getting hurt in the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl victory, but is looking to return.  Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones (L) is keen for Odell Beckham Jr. (R) to join his franchise RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 Next Jimmy Garoppolo's season is OVER after breaking his left... Getty Images Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham Jr. sparked some speculation on where he will sign after he fired off a passionate tweet during the Dallas Cowboys 54-19 rout of the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. Beckham is set to visit the Cowboys on Monday and Tuesday, so there’s no doubt he was watching as Dallas reeled off the lopsided victory against the Colts. The in-game tweet from Beckham — which was a message to his son, Zydn — sparked some speculation that perhaps he was envisioning himself in a Cowboys’ uniform. “I will return to greatness Zydn, I promise you son,” he tweeted. “I promise u. I gotta have u see this. I love u Z.” I WILL return to greatness … Zydn, I promise u son. I promise u. I gotta have u see this . Odell Beckham Jr.’s Giants visit kicked off Thursday evening with a sitdown dinner with team brass on the first leg of the wide receiver’s free agent tour, sources said. OBJ is then scheduled to stop by the Giants’ facility on Friday morning and undergo a physical exam, as well. He is supposed to fly north to see the Buffalo Bills later Friday and then travel south to visit the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, as well. But Bills pass rusher Von Miller, Beckham’s good friend, was placed on injured reserve on Thursday, which means Miller is sidelined at least four weeks. So it will be interesting to see how that impacts Beckham’s desire to play for Buffalo, which may have a good team but doesn’t have the national exposure or appeal of New York or Dallas. The primary factor in Beckham’s decision is expected to be the strength of the contract offer, which is one reason why the Cowboys are the favorite to land him. Dallas owner Jerry Jones has put on a full-court recruiting press and carries more salary cap...
The Buffalo Bills have been tight-lipped about Odell Beckham Jr's free agency visit. While Buffalo Bills superstar Von Miller has been publicly campaigning for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to join him in Buffalo since before the 2022 NFL season started, he’s been abnormally quiet since the three-time Prowler made his free agency visit this weekend. And it’s not just Miller suddenly going radio silent about Beckham, but the entire team. CBS Sports analyst Josina Anderson was able to offer some vague insight on OBJ’s visit after a fan asked for an update. “Just for you: Heard from folks who were glad to run into him earlier today,” she tweeted. “I heard some players made it known to team brass they ‘want him here’ & feel it’s necessary to help their ‘stride for the remainder of the season.'” Per the NFL’s daily transaction wire, Beckham’s official team visit took place on Saturday, December 3, but the 30-year-old receiver arrived in Buffalo on Friday night in time for a special recruitment dinner. Yes, Odell Beckham Jr. made it to...
Getty The Cowboys will meet with star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The Dallas Cowboys are projected by many insiders to be the front-runners to land Odell Beckham Jr., but ESPN’s Jordan Raanan believes the playmaker “wants to be a Giant” after taking a visit to New York. Even if this is true, the bright side for Cowboys fans is the Giants may not be willing to meeting Beckham’s financial demands. Beckham has met with the Giants and Bills with the Cowboys next on the docket for a December 5, 2022 visit. “Two things I think on OBJ situation from talking to people and observing: 1. Odell wants to be a Giant,” Raanan detailed in a series of December 4 tweets. “The lure of coming to NY, making it a home for his family and winning in this city is enticing. There’s unfinished biz. It’s matter of if Giants want to pay him $$$ he wants. “2. The OBJ deal is more about next year than this year. Even Saquon Barkley has said it repeatedly, people need to...
The Dallas Cowboys have been clear that they want to add free agent Odell Beckham Jr. but their latest roster decision makes things even clearer. It’s been possibly the worst-kept secret in NFL history that the Dallas Cowboys want to sign free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Jerry Jones can’t stop talking about it. Players can’t stop trying to recruit him. Fans can’t stop clamoring for it. At this point, even with other contenders involved, it’ll feel like a massive disappointment if OBJ doesn’t end up in Dallas. And what the Cowboys are doing in regard to their roster as the team is set to have Beckham visit on Monday seems to indicate that they would be just as disappointed as anyone else if he didn’t end up signing in Dallas. Earlier in the week, the team released veteran defensive end Tarell Basham. The move itself has big-time implications for Beckham as it frees up salary cap space to take on any new contract. But now it appears that Dallas also hasn’t filled that spot on its 53-man roster...
Odell Beckham Jr. has a taste for the finer things in life, and the Buffalo Bills did not disappoint in their gourmet four-course menu catering to OBJ. As far as celebrity athletes rank, Odell Beckham Jr. is among the brightest stars, and it goes beyond his incredible play. Yes, he remains iconic for his one-handed catch, but it was capitalizing on that image that made OBJ a household name. While in the New York market, OBJ frequented big-city events, showcasing his style at the Met Gala and sitting courtside at NBA games. When he decided to sign with the Los Angeles Rams last year, the appeal of the Los Angeles lifestyle was a factor in the decision. After all, L.A. has been able to entice athlete entrepreneurs like LeBron James, so it makes sense that OBJ would also want to build his brand there. Now, a recuperated Beckham is on the hunt for his next NFL adventure, and he’s not limiting his search to major metropolises. At this point, the OBJ brand will follow wherever he goes, and there’s no...
With everyone obsessing over where Odell Beckham Jr. will play next, one Buffalo reporter sees the answer to OBJ’s future in a smirk from Josh Allen.  There has been endless artistic interpretation over Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, including theories about whether or not da Vinci modeled the portrait after his own likeness. Mona Lisa’s expression proves that a small, knowing smirk can captivate the public and inspire curiosity, so when Josh Allen smirked at a press conference question concerning Odell Beckham Jr.’s Buffalo Bills visit, Allen’s smile seemed to say it all. Josh Allen asked about being part of the OBJ recruiting process when he visits Buffalo today. The smirk says more than the words pic.twitter.com/LvHZ5DUhL5 — Josh Reed (@4JoshReed) December 2, 2022 When asked if he would play a role in the recruiting process during OBJ’s visit, Allen smiled and said, “We’ll see.” “The smirk says more than the words,” wrote WIVB reporter Josh Reed. Although Allen may not be at liberty to discuss the Bills’ recruitment process, the smile seems to indicate that Allen is indeed...
Getty Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy looks on during an NFL game. Former Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Tarell Basham may soon be suiting up for an opposing contender as the Tennessee Titans hosted the defender for a December 2, 2022 visit, per the NFL transaction wire. The news comes after Basham was surprisingly released by the Cowboys on November 29. Basham started six games for Dallas in 2021 notching 39 tackles, 11 quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble last season. Prior to his release, the pass rusher was in the final season of a two-year, $5.5 million contract. Basham spent the majority of this season on injured reserve only appearing in two games. The depth on the Cowboys defensive line made Basham a bit more expendable than expected as Dallas valued the additional roster spot with veterans like Tyron Smith and James Washington nearing potential returns. The Cowboys also appear to be intrigued by newly signed pass rusher Takk McKinley, a former first-round pick who played under Dallas defensive coordinator Dan Quinn while...
Sterling Shepard was Facetiming with Odell Beckham Jr. during the Giants’ open locker room Friday, asking when his friend would be at the facility and joking that “the Feds” — the local media — were hot on OBJ’s trail. “I would be lying if I [said] having Odell in the locker room wouldn’t help this team,” Saquon Barkley said at his locker. “We’re in a great spot, but knowing Odell personally, the energy he brings, the swagger he plays with, the playmaking ability he has. The moment he steps in a locker room he automatically makes that team better.” Beckham’s close ties to Barkley and Shepard make the Giants a serious contender to sign him after Thursday night’s dinner with Beckham, ownership and team brass — followed by a Friday physical in New York City and a quick afternoon stop in East Rutherford, N.J. “We had a good dinner,” tight-lipped head coach Brian Daboll said. “I had a great steak.” However, Beckham left New Jersey without a deal on Friday night and flew to Buffalo, continuing his free agent tour...
Getty Former New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. will not return to the team in 2022, per reports. There’s plenty of anticipation as to how free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s visit went with the New York Giants on December 1. Head coach Brian Daboll gave details on what went down. “We had dinner with him last night,” Daboll told reporters Friday, via Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News. “It was a good visit . . . It was a good dinner … a great steak.” Giants head coach Brian Daboll says he had “a nice steak” at dinner with Odell Beckham Jr. on Thursday night. The Giants aren’t American Airlines: they still want Odell Beckham Jr. on board. The team still plans to host OBJ on Thursday and Friday for a free agent visit, even though Beckham was escorted off a Sunday flight from Miami to Los Angeles, the Daily News has learned. Maybe the incident adds a question to the Giants’ interview process, but nothing that happened Sunday changed the reasons for their mutual interest and this week’s visit. Beckham is interested in returning to the Giants. Big Blue could use a receiver to help in their playoff push, if not to galvanize them after three losses in their last four games. And above all, the team needs to physically examine Beckham’s twice-torn left ACL and work him out to ensure he’d be able to help them if he did sign. All of Beckham’s suitors need that assurance, and OBJ is looking to find the best contract and situation for him. He has plans to visit the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills after. The Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs have also shown interest....
Getty Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is scheduled to meet with the Buffalo Bills on Friday, December 2. While the Buffalo Bills (8-3) look to get their third consecutive against the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football, the team is also preparing to welcome free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for a visit on Friday, December 2, a date that was revealed by Von Miller during his Twitch live stream on Tuesday night. “Hey man, it ain’t over till it’s over,” Miller said. “He’s going to see the Giants, us and the Cowboys. And I think, when he comes here, I don’t think he’s gonna leave,” and it seems the Bills general manager Brandon Beane is preparing for that exact scenario. Buffalo could use some help at wide receiver with Jamison Crowder, Marquez Stevenson, and Jake Kumerow on IR, and ahead of the three-time Pro Bowler’s trip to Orchard Park, the Bills made a big move that appears to put the team in a position to sign Beckham right away. OBJ will be...
Getty After the NFL's trade deadline passed, the sweepstakes for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is officially on. The Buffalo Bills have booked their visit with this season’s most sought-after free agent. Bills edge rusher Von Miller revealed a key detail about the team’s pursuit of Odell Beckham Jr., who is close to making a free agency decision. The Bills have been listed among the finalists for Beckham, who is in the final stages of rehab for a torn ACL suffered in last season’s Super Bowl. As Miller noted, the Bills will get to make their pitch to Beckham in person later this week.Bills Book Date With BeckhamSpeaking on a Twitch live stream on November 29, Miller revealed that his former Los Angeles Rams teammate will be visiting the Bills on Friday. NFL insider Ian Rapoport had already reported that Beckham was planning visits with two other teams, but did not have a date for the Bills’ visit. OBJ will be in Buffalo to visit with the #Bills on Friday per Von Miller live on his Twitch stream....
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that he is not concerned about free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. visiting the Giants and Buffalo Bills before he heads to Dallas as early as next Monday. “Not at all,” Jones told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. “As a matter of fact, if you look at what precedes us before you get here, so to speak — physically, coming to visit — I like that. As to other teams, we don’t have anything to take a step back on there. “And of course, I know what this area is,” the Texas salesman at heart continued. “I know what the Dallas area is. I know what football means to this area. I do know that we’re the most visible team. From that standpoint, there’s a lot of interest in it. Everybody likes to be a part of something that’s substantive, and that’s the Cowboys.” Like the Giants, Jones said Beckham’s removal from a Miami airplane on Sunday did not change his plans to recruit OBJ. “No. It did not,” Jones said. “His overall...
Getty The Giants hosted another former NFC East WR ahead of OBJ's visit. Odell Beckham Jr. will still be in the building for the New York Giants this week, but that isn’t stopping the team from casting a wide net for help at wide receiver. Beckham, the prized name still available in free agency, will visit on Thursday, December 1. It could mark the first step toward the three-time Pro-Bowler returning to the NFC East, with the Dallas Cowboys also firmly in the mix for his signature. Perhaps looking for insurance in case they can’t convince OBJ to sign up for a second tour, the Giants worked out another wideout who once plied his trade in the division.Ex-Rival An Obvious Replacement for Injured TargetsAdam Humphries had a tryout with Big Blue on Monday, November 28, according to ESPN’s Field Yates: The receiver-needy Giants tried out veterans Adam Humphries and Malik Taylor. The three-time Pro Bowler will then visit with the Buffalo Bills followed by the Dallas Cowboys on December 5. However, there was a bit of controversy after Rapoport’s report was revealed. A few hours after the report, Beckham sent out a series of mysterious messages that caused plenty of attention on Twitter. “Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me… I’ve seen it all..,” Beckham shared, before adding, “Never. Getty Images Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham Jr.’s free agency tour is not ready for takeoff. Beckham is set to visit teams in the coming weeks — including the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and New York Giants. However, the Pro Bowl pass-catcher was booted from his flight out of Miami on Sunday. Rumors started to swirl about Beckham being escorted off the plane and Miami-Dade Police later issued a statement on what happened, dubbing it a “medical emergency.” The flight crew was concerned for a passenger (Mr. Odell Beckham), as they tried to wake him to fasten his seat belt, he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness, prior to their departure. Fearing that Mr. Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen through the expected 5 hour flight, the attendants called for police and fire rescue. Upon the arrival, the flight crew asked Mr. Beckham several times to exit the aircraft, which he refused. The aircraft was deplaned, at which time Mr. Beckham was asked by the officer to...

Getty Odell Beckham Jr. looks on from the sidelines during the Super Bowl. Odell Beckham Jr. was not happy about the reports that he paid a secret visit to the Buffalo Bills this week. On October 12, a viral Twitter post claimed that the All-Pro wide receiver was spotted arriving in Buffalo for what presumably was a visit with the Bills. Beckham is in the final stages of his rehab for a torn ACL and is expected to have several suitors when he’s prepared to sign with a new team. Getty Odell Beckham Jr. The Cleveland Browns held serious discussions about bringing back some familiar faces following the exit of controversial quarterback Baker Mayfield over the offseason. As it turns out, one of the players the team was courting is taking a hard look at other options. Free agent Odell Beckham Jr. conducted an official visit with the Los Angeles Rams, per the NFL’s transaction wire released on Friday, September 9. The receiver landed in L.A. after forcing his way out of Cleveland during the middle of last season over long-standing disagreements with Mayfield and frustrations regarding the QB’s inconsistent level of play. Beckham’s visit with the Rams became public less than 24 hours after the defending Super Bowl champions were trounced by the Buffalo Bills, 31-10, in the opening game of the season. But Ari Meirov of Pro Football Focus explained via Twitter on Friday that the wide receiver’s presence does not necessarily equate to interest in rejoining the team. This is great: Because Odell Beckham Jr. was in the building last night for the Super Bowl...

Although his “visit” was described as him being in attendance at SoFi Stadium for the Rams’ ring ceremony while clad in Ram colors. Due to Beckham’s free agent status, Ari Meirov of Pro Football Focus believed that the Rams had to inform the league that OBJ was on an official “visit” with the team. “This is great: Because Odell Beckham Jr. was in the building last night for the Super Bowl banner ceremony, the Rams...

SANTA CLARA — Another Los Angeles Rams’ coup? Another star player joining their roster before Monday’s visit to the 49ers? What to think of Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly saying yay to L.A.? “That’s great,” 49ers linebacker Fred Warner responded Thursday in a monotone fashion that seemed part sarcastic and part I-don’t-give-a-darn. “If he plays (Monday night), great. If he does (sign), great.” Beckham, officially released Monday by the Cleveland Brows, reportedly chose the Rams over the Green Bay Packers, whose lobbying included a pitch from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Did Jimmy Garoppolo do any recruiting of Beckham? “Uh, in our building, I guess you can say,” Garoppolo responded. “I’m happy with guys we’ve got right now.” Those top guys include wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, plus tight end George Kittle. However, No. 3 wide receiver Mohamed Sanu is missing Thursday’s practice and likely a few games with a knee injury. Coach Kyle Shanahan said Trent Sherfield, Jauan Jennings and Travis Benjamin are candidates for expanded roles in light of Sanu’s injury. On...
CLEVELAND (AP) — Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. are both active and will play Thursday night despite being slowed by injuries. Bridgewater was listed as questionable this week with a foot injury sustained last week against Las Vegas when he got stepped on by a teammate. A quadriceps injury was added for Bridgewater to the Broncos’ final injury report Wednesday. Denver starting left tackle Garett Bolles (knee) will play as well. Beckham was questionable after injuring his right shoulder last week in a loss to Arizona. He didn’t practice this week. Beckham’s return should help the injury-ravaged Browns (3-3), who enter a critical game extremely short-handed. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is out with a left shoulder injury, ending his streak of 53 consecutive starts and raising questions about his health for the remainder of the season. Case Keenum will start in his place. Mayfield has a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder and is hoping rest will reduce the inflammation and allow him to return on Oct. 31 against Pittsburgh. Cleveland also is without running...
