Experts have raised safety concerns about a TikTok beauty trend that has seen young women disfigured after creating DIY tattoo freckles. Videos posted on the social-media platform show people using needles to inject dots of henna or black ink across their nose and cheeks, which is believed to have been inspired by the Duchess of Sussex’s natural freckles. But clinics have reported an increase in the number of women needing expensive tattoo removal treatment after botched jobs that trigger allergic reactions and run the risk of permanent scarring. Clinics have reported an increase in the number of women needing expensive tattoo removal treatment after botched jobs Laura Kay, a London-based permanent make-up artist who specialises in applying eyebrows, eyeliner and lipstick, said: ‘I wouldn’t advise that you get tattoo freckles done. NEWCASTLE want to sign Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to reports. Eddie Howe is desperate to sign a striker this month having lost Callum Wilson for a few weeks through injury. 1Jean-Philippe Mateta is wanted by three clubs including NewcastleCredit: Getty A number of players have been linked to Toon with Palace loan star Mateta now on the clubs radar, report RMC Sport. But striking a deal could be complicated for Newcastle. Mateta has spent a year on loan with the Eagles from Mainz and Patrick Vieira's side can make the Frenchman a permanent Palace player for £12.5million. And while it is not clear whether Newcastle are interested in a loan or permanent move, other clubs are keen to sign Mateta on a temporary basis. Saint-Etienne and Basel are both believed to want the 24-year-old on loan. But Palace will reportedly block any approach for Mateta until they sign a new striker. It's not too outlandish a take to assume that McCain's accusations resonated as a warning sign to prospective replacements about what kind of treatment they ought to expect should they choose to join the show. Moreover, McCain is far from the only Republican cast member to lodge complaints about abusive behavior. Past co-hosts, including Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Nicolle Wallace, and Candace Cameron Bure have also expressed similar sentiments about their time on "The View." Even so, Behar, Goldberg, and Hostin seem befuddled as to why Republican women may be hesitant to join their gang. The news prompted one commenter on social media to darkly quip, "Husband with history of beating past 8 wives struggles to find 9th."What else?On top of that, Politico added that another major source of the show's struggles to find a replacement stems from its incredibly specific criteria for a permanent Republican cast member. Citing anonymous sources, Politico reports the show will not consider anyone who denies the 2020 election results, supports the January 6 riots, or may be too close to MAGA Republicans, but any right-leaning...
The Republican Party has built a “permanent” structure to battle the left nationwide on election integrity over the last eight months and is winning the longer war with Democrats, senior Republican National Committee (RNC) officials revealed exclusively to Breitbart News through lengthy interviews and documents detailing the efforts. Justin Riemer, the chief counsel of the RNC who is overseeing the party’s efforts, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News last week, broke down the GOP’s election integrity push into “three separate categories” which include a permanent staffed infrastructure nationwide and a broad law-fare legal strategy to counter Democrats. “The first is what we’re doing in the courts and litigating,” Riemer said. “The second is sort of our operational organization out in the field to send teams into the states and the third is the more sort of communications and efficacy efforts we’ve made at the state level and pushing back on HR1 and the congressional overreach that we’ve been pushing back with.” Riemer told Breitbart News that Republicans have learned much from what happened in 2020 after seeing what the...
Fox News host Will Cain called out adults who let children take “life-altering” medications and permanently alter their bodies, and said they are guilty of child abuse. Cain said that as a society, “we have fallen well short” based on how we treat children. “Over the past year, we’ve allowed our children to have their faces covered, called racist or losers, declined to educate them while judging them for very childish behavior, and performed medical experiments in what can only be described as child abuse,” Cain added. A coalition of bipartisan Senators reintroduced a bill on Tuesday that would make Daylight Saving Time (DST) permanent, thereby ending the need to change the clocks. The Sunshine Protection Act of 2021 would only apply to states who currently participate in DST by getting rid of Standard Time, which lasts between November and March when clocks are turned back one hour. If passed, Americans wouldn’t be forced to change their clocks twice a year. (RELATED: Since The US Is Springing Forward, Here’s The History Behind Daylight Saving Time) Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), brought forward the legislation, along with other senators on the left and right side of aisle. “The call to end the antiquated practice of clock changing is gaining momentum throughout the nation,” Rubio said in a statement. Rubio’s home state of Florida enacted similar legislation back in 2018 that implemented year-round DST. In order for the change to apply, however, a change in the federal status was required, according to a press release from Rubio. Fifteen other states have also passed similar laws and resolutions. Soon we will have to...
Some Twitter employees have set their accounts to private and scrubbed their online biographies over concerns they may be targeted by supporters of President Trump, the New York Times reported. In addition, some Twitter executives have been assigned personal security as the company reckons with its decision to bar one of its loudest voices. Trump’s @realDonaldTrump account was permanently suspended from Twitter January 8th, “due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter said in its statement. The president told supporters at a rally just before an attack on the Capitol January 6th they would “have to show strength,” and “fight much harder,” encouraging them to walk down to the Capitol. Trump tweeted that Vice President Mike Pence “didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done,” and later — while the attack was still ongoing— tweeted “we love you” to his supporters. The House of Representatives impeached Trump a second time on January 13th for “incitement of insurrection.” According to the Times, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who was working remotely from a private island the...
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Once President Donald Trump leaves the White House, it’s been rumored that he will move to Mar-a-Lago, but that might not happen if some of his neighbors have a say. A letter from a lawyer representing those neighbors was delivered to Palm Beach City officials which tells President Trump, Mar-a-Lago cannot be his permanent residence. Back in 1993, Trump signed an agreement in which club members were banned from spending more than 21 days a year in the club’s suites and he also assured the town council he would not live there. A Trump spokesman says there’s no document or agreement in place that prohibits President Trump from using Mar-a-Lago as his permanent residence.

Amazon has announced plans to add 3,500 new corporate employees in six cities, including 2,000 in a new flagship New York City office, in a move that bucks the trends of companies and residents fleeing urban centers amid the pandemic and rising crime. The company said on Tuesday that it will expand its 'tech hubs' in Dallas, Detroit, Denver, Phoenix, and San Diego, and open a new office in Manhattan's Lord & Taylor Fifth Avenue building. Due to the pandemic, Amazon is urging all of its employees who are able to work remotely to do so until at least January 8, an insider told DailyMail.com. But the expansion plans signal that the online retail giant anticipates a return to normalcy someday, and is betting on a big presence in cities as a core part of its strategy. It comes as many other companies including Facebook and Twitter make aggressive plans to pivot to long-term remote work, and others eye satellite offices outside of urban cores, particularly New York, where hundreds of thousands of residents have fled in recent months. At least three federal officers responding to the chaos in Portland may have permanent eye damage after demonstrators shined lasers in their faces, Federal Protective Service (FPS) Deputy Director of Operations Richard Cline said this week. Cline detailed how demonstrators have attacked officers trying to quell the unrest, throwing various projectiles and shining lasers into their eyes as they set fires and vandalize public and private property across the city. “You’ve seen the green lasers that are being used out there, we have three officers who currently have eye injuries and they may not recover sight in those eyes from those laser attacks,” he said during a press conference this week: Cline said they have since purchased special glasses to shield the officers’ eyes from those attacks and prevent those eye injuries. Cline also said that they were moving to convert their officers’ names to their badge number because “about 38” of their officers have been doxxed — a reality that coincides with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) move to introduce legislation requiring federal law enforcement officers to identify their agency,...
