Men are lonelier than ever as they struggle to meet the higher dating standards of modern women, according to a psychologist. American psychologist Greg Matos wrote in a recent Psychology Today article that the current state of young and middle-aged men's love lives shows they need to 'address a skills deficit'. He said: 'I hear recurring dating themes from women between the ages of 25 and 45: They prefer men who are emotionally available, good communicators, and share similar values'. Yet, he claimed he's found that modern men's biggest problem is communication, which is 'the lifeblood of healthy, long-term love'. It comes as data shows dating apps are overrun with men - who represent 62 per cent of users - and figures collected in the US in 2019 showed more men than women were single. Men are lonelier than ever as they struggle to meet the higher dating standards of modern women, according to a psychologist (stock photo) Dr Matos said society fails to teach young boys the importance of communication, which has resulted in growing numbers of unintentionally single men. A new doc streaming on ALLBLK titled 'Beyond Ed Buck' takes a deep dive into the murders of Gemmel Moore and Timothy Dean at the hands of Ed Buck, a wealthy Democratic donor who preyed on vulnerable, gay, black men In the early evening on July 27, 2017, Los Angeles County sheriff responded to a 911 call from a West Hollywood apartment where a 26-year-old black Gemmel Moore laid unresponsive on a mattress on the floor.  He was naked, wearing only white socks. Porn was playing on the TV and nearby was a red Craftsman tool box that stored drugs and paraphernalia including 24 syringes with brown residue, five glass pipes, lighters, a scale, straw, and Ziploc bag of 'crystal-like substance.' Fox & Friends on Monday mocked what, as a chyron showed, is a “growing trend of men living with parents.” The segment neglected to note that for some young people there are times when they have no other choice but to move back in with their parents. “A shocking new study shows that young men are more likely than ever to be jobless and live with their parents,” said co-host Lawrence Jones. “That’s according to data from The Conference Board, which says the number of men between 25 and 34 without a bachelor’s degree living at home had jumped from 15 percent in the 90s to 25 percent.” “That’s crazy,” said Jones. Jones then brought in Fox News contributor and Marine veteran Joey Jones (no relationship). “I don’t know if it’s just because I’m from the South, but my dad would never allow that to happen,” said Lawrence Jones. Joey Jones said: There’s no such thing as a 21- year-old kid. They’re 21-year-old young men who are raised to be kids at 21, and every time I hear a news report where someone calls a young man a child or kid it really just crawls up my spine....

I didn’t think it would happen, but it did.’” The “Dancing With the Stars” champion continued, “I think it’s gonna be really hard for her no matter what the outcome because she genuinely is in love with two people. [The finale is] gonna be all of the things — it’s gonna be emotional, it’s gonna be...
