Three years after he killed himself in prison while awaiting trial, less than a quarter of Jeffrey Epstein's estate remains, DailyMail.com can reveal. When the disgraced financier was found hanging in his cell in New York's Metropolitan Correction Center in 2019, his estate was valued at a staggering $636million. Today, accounts filed with the Virgin Island Superior Court and obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, show that just $154million of that vast wealth remains. In December 2021 the estate listed among its assets, $45,441,290.72 'cash in hand.'  And by the following March that sum had dwindled to $33,527,414,60. The value of Epstein's art and collectibles remains unchanged at $337,154 as does his $4,055 collection of watches. Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein's vast fortune – once estimated to be worth more than a billion dollars – has dwindled in value by more than 75 per cent since his death in 2019  Epstein was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges when he hanged himself in his cell in August 2019. His accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty of procuring underage girls in a federal trial...
On May 3, 2016, Virginia Roberts was cross-examined in a U.S. court, having brought a defamation action against Ghislaine Maxwell, who had accused her of lying. Maxwell's lawyer asked her: 'Again, is there more than one truth, Miss Roberts?' She replied: 'No, there's not more than one truth.' Not more than one truth, perhaps. But there is sometimes more than one version of an alleged event. And on occasion these versions can seem to vary or evolve into a different scenario altogether. In 2011, Miss Roberts wrote the draft of a personal memoir. Titled The Billionaire Playboys' Club, it describes her life from sexual abuse in childhood, homelessness and drug-taking in her teenage years, through being 'recruited' as an underage 'sex slave' by Epstein and Maxwell to her escape and redemptive marriage to her Australian husband, Rob Guiffre. She offered the manuscript to at least two U.S. literary agents with a view to commercial publication. Her covering letter to one New York agent, which has become a legal exhibit, read: 'I am very serious about getting my book published and...
JEFFREY Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell made more than $100 billion together but the vast fortune may be hidden from victims in mystery offshore accounts, the pedophile's former mentor has claimed. While the Epstein estate has been valued at $635million, his old boss Steven Hoffenberg dismisses that amount and says it’s more likely to be over $100billion. 6Jeffrey Epstein's fortune is over $100 billion according to his former mentorCredit: Getty Images - Getty Hoffenberg, who was the criminal mastermind between the pair fleecing hundreds of millions out of investors in one of the world’s biggest Ponzi schemes, took Epstein under his wings in the eighties, teaching him everything about forensic accounting. The 75-year-old said that even in the late eighties and early nineties, while working for his company Towers Financial, he and Epstein were laundering at least $2.5billion-a-year and had other sideline fraudulent businesses laundering a similar amount. Hoffenberg claimed that Epstein and his alleged pimp Ghislaine Maxwell were working together for more than twenty years and made over $100billion, but only a small portion of the vast fortune has...
(Bloomberg) – Daughter of one extremely wealthy man and longtime confidante of another: Ghislaine Maxwell has always enjoyed proximity to wealth. But how much money she has herself is a mystery. Maxwell, who pleaded not guilty to charges of recruiting girls to be sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein, will spend the next year in jail, in part because his “opaque” finances led to the judge overseeing the case to conclude that it was an extraordinary risk of escape. “On a basic level, the defense’s argument is that it cannot remember how many millions of dollars it has,” said Assistant United States Attorney Alison Moe at the bond hearing. from Maxwell on Tuesday. The prosecutor said that Maxwell’s claims of having less than $ 1 million in the bank and no monthly income were “implausible.” The evidence of Maxwell’s great wealth, especially if the money came from Epstein, could reinforce the theory of prosecutors that he was complicit in his crimes. So far, her lawyers have suggested that Maxwell, 58, is less wealthy than many believe, and have tried to distance...
Model Chrissy Teigen cleaned out her Twitter after several accounts spread a conspiracy theory that she had ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Amid rumors by accounts alleging she had flown on the convicted sex offender's private jet, Teigen blocked 1 million accounts for their efforts in spreading the misinformation. "I have block chained over one million people, ONE MILLION people today and I am still flooded with sick psychopaths," Teigen said in a tweet. "So please, spare me the 'just ignore them, they’re just trolls." She added that she may leave Twitter if the platform doesn't address the harassment. Rumors about Teigen hanging out with Epstein started spreading as Twitter users began sharing unproved flight logs of Epstein's jet featuring her name as a passenger. Teigen, who has a major social media influence and over 13 million followers, said she is worried about the safety of...
Chrissy Teigen Mass Deletes Tweets, Blocks 1 Million Accounts Over Jeffrey Epstein Conspiracy
Ghislaine Maxwell secretly wed to safeguard her fortune amid her legal woes, a friend claims in a new report. The pal believes the hidden marriage — a bombshell revelation at Maxwell’s court hearing — was likely orchestrated “to protect the money she had,” the Times UK reported. Prosecutors say the British heiress is linked to 15 different bank accounts, some with balances of more than $20 million, and that she keeps other accounts in foreign countries containing more than $1 million. Jeffrey Epstein’s accused madam also snagged $15 million on a sale of an unidentified residence in New York City in 2016, prosecutors said. When the pal last saw Maxwell two years ago, Maxwell was tight-lipped about her living situation. “I asked her where she was living and she wouldn’t tell me,” the pal told the outlet. “She said, ‘A little bit of everywhere.’” Another former friend of Maxwell said she was completely unaware of the British socialite’s secret nuptials. “No one knew she was married,” the ex-chum told the outlet, adding that she had been in a relationship...

Chrissy Teigen conducted a massive overhaul of her Twitter account as conspiracy theorists continue to link her to the late convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein. Just last week the model slammed Twitter trolls for alleging she once flew on the disgraced financier's private jet. The accusations, which she vehemently denies amid her own denouncing of Epstein's gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell, led to her blocking 1 million accounts on Tuesday to escape the noise. "I have block chained over one million people, ONE MILLION people today and I am still flooded with sick psychopaths. So please, spare me the 'just ignore them, they’re just trolls,'" she tweeted. Ghislaine Maxwell could have been secretly operating one of the most powerful Reddit accounts of all time, according to a widely shared theory on the website.  Hundreds of users have pointed out the u/maxwellhill handle has fallen silent since her July 2 arrest on sex trafficking charges related to Jeffrey Epstein. In a Twitter post YouTuber Joe Leonard wrote: 'Ghislane Maxwell was the first person on reddit to hit 1 million karma LMAO! She's the #8 karma to this day. Her posts to /r/worldnews constituted roughly 30% of the posts there. This connection was made after she was arrested and that account stopped posting there after 14 years.' The u/maxwellhill account has not posted since July 1 despite previously posting on a regular basis about the biggest new stories across the world, covering everything from Donald Trump to space.  Others have pointed out the account often discusses the age of consent around the world but completely steers clear of any stories relating to Epstein.  Karma points are earned by other users interactions with Reddit accounts; records show the handle currently has...
DEUTSCHE Bank has been fined £118million for a lack of oversight in its dealings with three clients including paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. The bank acknowledged it made a "critical mistake" in allowing Epstein to open accounts that were later used to pay off victims of his abuse. 3Jeffrey Epstein reportedly used accounts opened with Deutsche Bank to pay of his abuse victimsCredit: Corbis - Getty 3Deutsche Bank it had made a 'critical mistake' in opening the accountsCredit: EPA The New York State Department of Financial Service (NYDFS) criticised Deutsche Bank's "significant compliance failures". The settlement is the first regulatory enforcement action against a bank over a relationship with Epstein. The fine also related to Deutsche Bank's dealings with Danske Bank's Estonia branch, which is currently embroiled in a money laundering scandal, and the Federal Bank of the Middle East. The NYDFS said Deutsche Bank considered Epstein "high-risk" and knew of his history of sex trafficking and abuse, yet processed hundreds of transactions "obviously implicated" by his past. Epstein killed himself in August while awaiting charges for the trafficking...
New York regulators slapped Deutsche Bank with $150 million in penalties over its relationship with pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, officials said Tuesday. The bank agreed to pay in a settlement with the state’s Department of Financial Services, which found it failed to probe transactions that should have raised red flags about Epstein’s sex-trafficking activity — including payments to his alleged accomplices, officials said. “Despite knowing Mr. Epstein’s terrible criminal history, the bank inexcusably failed to detect or prevent millions of dollars of suspicious transactions,” DFS Superintendent Linda Lacewell said in a statement. Deutsche Bank let those transactions go through even though it had plenty of information about the convicted sex offender’s criminal past, regulators said. Epstein pleaded guilty to Florida prostitution charges in 2008 before the feds accused him of sex trafficking last year. He killed himself in a Manhattan jail last August. State regulators also found “procedural failures, mistakes, and sloppiness” in how Deutsche Bank oversaw Epstein’s accounts, officials said. For instance, bank officials placed restrictions on the accounts that were not communicated to staffers handling them and were...
New York (CNN)In their pursuit of Ghislaine Maxwell for what they say is her role in Jeffrey Epstein's alleged sex trafficking ring, federal prosecutors claim to have unearthed a series of unusual financial transactions involving the two that add a new layer to the mysterious financial complexities underpinning the larger Epstein saga. The financial relationship between Epstein, the late multimillionaire whose sources of wealth remain largely murky, and Maxwell, the British socialite whose newspaper tycoon father died just before being implicated in a massive pension fraud scandal, has long been difficult to decipher. Who is Ghislaine Maxwell? The woman at the center of the Jeffrey Epstein scandalThe two ran in the rarefied world of billionaire bankers and society figures, but it was unclear how either came to have the means to support such a lifestyle. Epstein billed himself as a money manager to billionaires, but it was not apparent that he had any clients besides Leslie Wexner, the founder and chairman of Victoria's Secret parent company L Brands, who took the unusual step of granting Epstein power of attorney and who...

Aerial photos released by the FBI show the four-bedroom house in the middle of a large forest in the Bradford area. Speaking to The Sun, a neighbour said: “Very few people saw her – I think most assumed she was a celebrity, as she was very low key. “She had the means to buy the house and not...
Ghislaine Maxwell went to 'extreme lengths' to stay under the radar over the last year while in hiding, prosecutors said in court documents on Thursday after arresting the 58-year-old on child sex trafficking charges.  Maxwell is accused of not only procuring three underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with between 1994 and 1997  but also of having sex with them herself.  She was arrested at a home sprawling $1million New Hamphire property on Thursday morning.  She bought the house in December for cash, paying for it through an LLC to avoid detection.  Before then, prosecutors say she moved location at least twice but that she stayed in New England. She was last seen in public in August 2019 at an In-N-Out Burger in L.A., ten days after Epstein killed himself in prison. It's unclear how long the FBI was watching her. According to a memo filed in court on Thursday asking for a judge to deny her bail, Maxwell changed her phone number and her email address.  Ghislaine Maxwell, shown last August - the last time she...
Accused Jeffrey Epstein procuress Ghislaine Maxwell is an “extreme” flight risk who’s been hiding out in a 156-acre property in New Hampshire with more than $20 million in the bank and three passports, according to Manhattan prosecutors who want her to remain locked up without bail. Details of Maxwell’s cushy, transient lifestyle were laid out in a 10-page detention memo filed Thursday, hours after Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime confidant was busted on federal sex abuse charges. Maxwell, 58, faces up to 35 years in prison if convicted and has an “extraordinary incentive to flee,” as well as the means and money to do so, prosecutors write. They say they’ve linked 15 different bank accounts to Maxwell, some with balances of more than $20 million, and that she holds other accounts in foreign countries containing more than $1 million. Maxwell moved large amounts of cash last year, including $300,000 from one account to another in July — the same month Epstein was indicted on sex trafficking charges, the memo says. She also pocketed a cool $15 million on a sale of...
