The judge who presided over Casey Anthony's murder trial says he doesn't believe her most recent claims that her father drowned her daughter to cover up accidentally smothering her with a pillow during an alleged sexual attack. In her first sit-down interview, Anthony appears in a three-part docuseries 'Where the Truth Lies' on Peacock, where she claims that both she and her daughter Caylee were sexually abused by her father George.  George Anthony has vehemently denied the claims and has ever been charged in connection with the allegations, nor has he been implicated in Caylee's 2008 death.  Judge Belvin Perry Jr. said he didn't believe her story back in 2011, and he doesn't believe her most recent claims, telling the U.S. Sun: 'Casey Anthony's believability is pretty much zero.' Anthony was infamously acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee after a highly publicized trial in 2011 during which she was dubbed the most hated woman in America.  The judge who presided over Casey Anthony's murder trial says he doesn't believe her most recent claims that her father drowned her daughter to...
The Princess of Wales hinted that she is ready to return to school, admitting that she would 'love' to enroll in college courses at Harvard University, as she visited the prestigious Ivy League school today.  Kate, 40, paid a visit to Harvard in her first - and only - solo engagement as part of the Prince and Princess of Wales' whirlwind three-day trip to Boston. And, it seems, the whistlestop tour of the college had quite an impact on the mother-of-three.  While sitting down for a meeting with researchers at the college's Center of the Developing Child, the Princess confessed that she was enamored with the school, saying: 'It’s so exciting to be here. I’d love to come and study but don’t know what to choose, as there are so many specialist courses available. Kate, who graduated from the University of St Andrews in Scotland back in 2005, noted that it's 'never too late' to return to school, adding: 'Apparently they say it’s never too late, there is always time. Upon her arrival at Harvard University, Kate was invited to sign the official guest...
President Joe Biden made a pitch for reelecting Sen. Raphael Warnock saying he can't think of 'anything' the Georgia Democrat hadn't backed him on – in remarks Republicans immediately tried to throw back at him. Biden made the comment while visiting a phone bank in Massachusetts by members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He made the case for Warnock as a party loyalist – while questioning the 'veracity' of Walker, who has suffered a series of scandals including public clashes over whether he paid for abortions with women who say he did.   'I can't think of anything he hasn't voted for – with us,' Biden said, praising Warnock, who is engaged in a tight runoff against Donald Trump-backed Walker. 'There may be something,' Biden riffed. 'I know it's a problem because they're running against him saying he votes 98 per cent of the time with Joe Biden – I wouldn't tell them that on the phone,' he joked. The Republican National Committee sent around the clip.  U.S. President Joe Biden takes part in an International Brotherhood of Electrical...

CNN anchor Don Lemon has denied that the cable news network 'was ever liberal' — even as he admitted his new boss wants to get more 'sensible Republicans' to appear on the channel. Lemon made the assertion on Monday after late night host Stephen Colbert asked him about the changes new CEO Chris Licht is making at the network. 'Word on the street is that you guys aren't allowed to be liberal anymore. Is that the case?' Colbert asked Lemon, who now heads CNN's failing morning show. 'I don't think we ever were liberal,' Lemon replied, to which Colbert seems shocked.   Lemon then went on to explain that he thinks CNN has only ever tried to hold Republicans 'accountable.' 'I think what Chris is saying is that he wants Republicans, sensible Republicans, he wants us to hold people to account, but he wants people to come on and feel comfortable with coming on and talking on CNN and appearing on CNN,' Lemon said.  Since taking over the company last spring, Licht  — who previously worked as the executive producer on Colbert's...
Odell Beckham Jr. was kicked off a commercial flight on Sunday morning. Apparently, it has no impact on the Cowboys’ desire to sign him. On Sunday afternoon, all eyes were on Odell Beckham Jr., despite the fact that he has yet to sign with an NFL team. The star wide receiver was the subject of a scandal in which he was removed from a commercial flight in Miami (scheduled to head to Los Angeles) for allegedly refusing to buckle his seatbelt. The situation is quite murky, with the details contested by both sides. Here’s everything we know going back to Sunday, but the general basis is the Miami-Dade police and airport personnel claim that Beckham was in and out of consciousness and refusing to buckle his seatbelt. They claim they feared for his health and safety and brought the plane back to the gate to address the situation, which resulted in Beckham being removed. Beckham, via his lawyer, claims that he was simply sleeping on the flight and wasn’t asked to buckle until the plane was already back at the...
Getty Jon Jones Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones may have beaten Anthony Smith in the past, but “Lionheart” said “Bones” is “beatable” and “not that good.” Jones, who is considered by many as the greatest mixed martial artist ever, and Smith fought for Bones’ 205-pound strap at UFC 235 in March 2019. The match went all five rounds and although Jones was deducted a point in the fourth round due to an illegal knee, the champion swept the scorecards in dominant fashion (48–44, 48–44, 48–44). During a recent interview with Morning Kombat, Smith said he was off that night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which he said led to one of the worst performances of his professional career. Even though Smith has been brutally defeated before — like when he sustained a five-round beating from Glover Teixeira in May 2020 — Lionheart said that he viewed the Jones fight as the worst loss of his career because he felt like he “didn’t show up” in the way that he should have. “I just didn’t...
Michelle Obama has opened up about how doesn't want her daughters Malia and Sasha to feel pressure to get married and have children, saying they need to understand that 'their happiness is in their own hands.'   The former first lady shared her thoughts on modern mothering and the societal expectations put on young women during an interview on the Tamron Hall Show that aired on Monday.  'Too many young people are rushing to check the box of marriage before they even know who they are, and then they're surprised when they pick the wrong person, or they don't know how to struggle through hard times,' Obama, 58, explained.  'I want my girls to spend some time with themselves to develop some skills to understand that they can make it with or without, that they can build their happiness with all the bells and whistles and they can be happy if they choose to only focus on their career, to never have kids. I want to make their worlds bigger for them.' Michelle Obama, 58, opened up about the societal expectations put on young...
Mike Pence has said he had no idea what Donald Trump was doing while the Capitol was attacked on January 6, saying: 'That would be a good question for him.' The former vice president, whose memoir is out on Tuesday, is embarking on a publicity tour that saw him on Monday night sit down for an hour with ABC News' David Muir. Pence, 63, confirmed that he was mulling a run for the presidency in 2024, and said he felt the United States would have 'better choices' than to re-elect Trump. He described being 'infuriated' and enraged by the rioters storming the Capitol, and admitted that, in hindsight, he was wrong to say on January 4 that 'we'll have our day' on January 6. 'Hindsight is always 20:20,' he told Muir. 'But I never imagined the violence that would ensure on January 6.' Mike Pence is seen during his ABC News interview with David Muir, discussing the January 6 insurrection Muir asked Pence for his reaction to Donald Trump's tweet, in which Trump said Pence was a coward for failing...

The late night talk show host, 55, shared that the slapping incident between the King Richard actor, 54, and Chris Rock, 57, has to be discussed at some point, but that he doesn't want to 'make light' of it.  'It’s got to come up in some way,' Kimmel told Extra after he was announced as the emcee of the 95th annual Academy Awards. President Joe Biden admitted for the first time since Democrats kept the Senate and beat expectations in the House that they likely lacked the support to codify Roe v. Wade's abortion protections. Asked at a press conference in Bali about the topic – a driving issue in the elections in key House and Senate races – Biden said Monday that 'I don't think they can expect too much of anything other than we're going to maintain our positions' on the abortion issue.' Democrats had hoped that by boosting their Senate majority they could try to pass a law restoring protections that the Supreme Court struck down and left up to states.  'I don't think there's enough votes to codify unless something unusual happens in the House,' said Biden.  The Democratic House passed a bill this year that would have codified Roe, but it couldn't get through the 50-50 Senate already controlled by Democrats.  Now Democrats are looking at a 50 or 51 seat majority in the Senate. But Biden still likely lacks the votes to jam through procedural changes that would...
Republican Senator Bill Cassidy blamed the GOP's unexpectedly disappointing midterm performance on Donald Trump and and implied that he does not believe the former president and de facto party leader will be the party's 2024 nominee.  The second-term senator from Louisiana told NBC's Chuck Todd that the GOP is 'not a cult.' 'We're not like, 'Okay, there's one person who leads out party.'' 'We are not going to have one person anointed unless she or he happens to be a sitting president,' he said. Cassidy specifically called out Trump-backed candidates who lost their races for the Republican failure to secure majority control of the Senate and lose winnable seats in the House. 'Those that were most closely aligned with the past, those are the ones that underperformed,' Cassidy said on NBC's Meet the Press. Over the weekend, Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy placed blame on former President Trump for the GOP's underperformance during last week's midterm Cassidy told NBC's Chuck Todd that he does not believe Donald Trump will be the party's 2024 presidential nominee and that those who aligned themselves...

Kanye West's ex Julia Fox said she doesn't like sex and is 'desensitized' to it because of her past career as a dominatrix - and revealed she'd rather take the plant-based psychedelic 'ayahuasca and see God' than be intimate. Fox, now 32, previously revealed that she started working in a 'basement dungeon' at age 18, where she would be paid to fulfill men's fantasies.  And now, she has opened up about how the 'humiliating' job forced her to 'disassociate' as a 'survival mechanism' - which left her looking at sex as a 'one-sided' and 'trivial' act even now, years later. 'Sex for me always has been one-sided but I think all women can say that. So it's like, if I don't really need anything from you, I don't see the point,' she told her pal Emily Ratajkowski during a recent appearance on her podcast High Low with EmRata.  'I'm really desensitized to sex, too. Like it just, it's not thrilling for me.' Ratajkowski, on the other hand, said that she 'likes sex,' to which Fox added, 'See, I don't I...
Polls are still open for the 2022 midterm election but talk among Democrats is already turning to whether or not President Joe Biden should seek a second term in office. With election forecasters predicting a Republican win in the House, eyes are turning to the 2024 contest.  Even the contenders are talking about the next presidential election. Biden has indicated he will run again and Donald Trump is promising a 'very big' announcement about his future on Nov. 15. But Democrats are already looking at Biden alternatives, including pitching their picks, as the president faces low approval ratings and questions about his age.  Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff has told Democrats the party must rally around his wife, Vie President Kamala Harris, should Biden not run, Politico reported.  His advocacy comes as chatter among Democrats about California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is growing. Rumors are swirling that former President Donald Trump could announce a third campaign for the White House on Monday night - but Trumpworld itself is at odds on whether he should wait until after the midterm elections, people familiar indicated to DailyMail.com. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani believes he shouldn't, he told DailyMail.com by phone on Monday afternoon, arguing that what's likely to be a strong Republican showing across the country is best left to speak for itself. A separate source close to Trump's orbit said the former president wants to announce tonight in order to take credit for the anticipated 'red wave' on Tuesday -  but said others are warning him that he 'doesn't want to be on the hook for surprise losses.' Trump is holding his fourth MAGA rally in four days on Monday, appearing in Ohio alongside Senate GOP hopeful JD Vance. It's his final push to help Republicans win back control of Congress for the last two years of President Joe Biden's term. Giuliani, his ally and friend of more than three decades, has...

Commentator Bill Maher is predicting a successful midterm election for the Republican party, and he knows who to blame for it. The comedian and liberal pundit was a guest on Bill Burr‘s podcast Thursday Afternoon Monday Morning Podcast this week and talked about politics, of course. When the conversation inevitably turned to Tuesday’s midterm elections, Maher brought up “woke” politics, one of his favorite topics in recent months. “I am very much a critique — a critic of what goes on on the fringe of the Left,” Maher said. “I mean, woke culture has just — that’s one reason why the Republicans are gonna do so well in this election. Because he Left has gone super crazy with lots of shit that the average American just never voted for, doesn’t recognize in this country, doesn’t want…” “Doesn’t pay attention to,” Burr interjected. Maher went on to say that in 2024 Trump will have people in office to back him lying about the result, thanks to the big GOP victories that will put them there next week —...

Ohio Democratic Senate hopeful Tim Ryan blasted his own national party on Thursday after its dollars have largely stayed out of his long-shot campaign to flip the Buckeye State to blue. Ryan and his Republican opponent, Hillbilly Elegy author JD Vance, have run a close race for months. The majority of polls have shown Vance with a consistent but slim lead, despite Donald Trump winning Ohio by a decisive eight points in 2020. But the House Democrat's focus on winning back working class whites and other historically blue voting blocs that have since abandoned the Democratic Party did defy expectations, making Ohio a tighter race than election watchers initially thought it would be.  'You know, the national Democratic Party has never been really good at strategic political decisions,' Ryan told CNN when asked why the political apparatus has dodged the race. 'So you know, it's not a surprise here.' Since mounting his campaign Ryan has also made a significant effort to emphasize when he bucks the party line, such as when he became one of the few Democrat lawmakers to...
Arizona Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake told rally-goers she would order state police to arrest federal agents who try to enforce a policy that doesn’t actually exist. The former local tV news anchor is currently locked in a tight race with Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs. The preponderance of recent polling shows Lake with a slight lead. During the campaign event, Lake referenced a widespread conservative talking point about a nonexistent U.S. Department of Justice policy: I don’t believe parents are terrorists at all. And I’ll tell you what. If I were governor right now, and Joe Biden even thought he was gonna send his FBI or DOJ in to start coming after our parents, they would be met at the airport with the state police and arrested for going after our rights. We finally, as parents, have to rise up and say, “No, we’re gonna take this anymore and they call us terrorists. That’s unbelievable. We’re in an upside-down world and we need to right it.” Lake’s scenario about federal agents trying to arrest innocent parents just...
The 36-year-old son of a Georgia woman found naked and burned in a ravine has vowed not to stop trying to find out who is responsible for her savage death. Jeffrey Bearden's mom Debbie Collier was last seen on September 10 when she left her Athens home en route to Clarksville, approximately 60 miles away. The next day, the 59-year-old real estate agent's body was found naked and partially burned in a wooded ravine near Tallulah Falls - with her purse and cell phone nearby. On September 30, the Habersham County Sheriff's Department issued a press release providing a timeline of the crime, and released surveillance video. The footage shows Collier browsing a Family Dollar in Clayton on September 10, the day before her partially burned body was discovered. In the video she is seen purchasing items including, a tarp, a refillable torch light, reusable tote bag, two-roll pack of paper towels, and a rain poncho.  Collier's concerned son questioned why his mom would drive to a Dollar store when there was a Dollar General a half mile from her home...
It's been just two months since Emily Ratajkowski officially filed for divorce from her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard amid claims he had cheated on her. But the model has wasted no time in embracing her new life as a single mom.   The 31-year-old sat down with the Today show's Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on Wednesday, when she opened up about life as a divorcee, telling the co-hosts that the independence she's experienced has been 'really nice' - particularly because she no longer feels as though she owes anything to any person or man, except her one-year-old son Sylvester. 'It's so nice, honestly,' she said when asked about the latest phase in her life. 'I don't owe anything to anybody... other than my son, that's the only man.' Emily's split from Sebastian - which came amid ongoing rumors that he had been unfaithful on multiple occasions - marks a turning point for the model, who explained that she had spent much of her life as a 'serial monogamist', and had rarely had a chance to be by herself and 'do...

The adoptive father of the man accused of attempting to murder Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's husband has spoken out about his son's actions.   David DePape, 42, is accused of breaking into the Pelosi's home and beating Paul Pelosi over the head with a hammer and intending to hold Nancy hostage and break her kneecaps.  Gene DePape of Powell River in British Columbia told KRON in an interview said that he first met DePape when he was a toddler and had adopted him by the time the suspect turned three.  At the time, Gene was married to the suspect's biological mother. Like very few moments in his baseball career, Mariano Rivera wishes he could have this one back. The five-time World Series champion offered his opinion on Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone after another playoff disappointment and made some headlines in the aftermath. “If I’m the owner, Aaron Boone wouldn’t stay,” Rivera said Tuesday during a Q&A session with Panamanian business leaders. “When things don’t come out the way we want them to all of the fault goes on the manager and somebody has to pay the price and we won’t put that on the players.” A recording of his comments, made in Spanish during the videoconference, were posted online by ESPN. One of the many hot-button issues in Yankee land is the fact that Boone is staying put as manager, as Hal Steinbrenner pretty much confirmed on Wednesday. While plenty of fans on social media, and on sports talk radio, passionately agreed with Rivera’s statement, the all-time saves leader quickly walked back his comments and said it was all a big misunderstanding. “I said when a team like this, the New...
Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar said Sunday that she is 'concerned' about billionaire Elon Musk's ownership of Twitter. The Minnesota lawmaker even suggested his comparably lax views on content moderation could lead to more incidents like the break-in of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home. A man who espoused QAnon beliefs, anti-Semitism and other extremist views broke into Pelosi's house overnight Friday and assaulted her husband, Paul Pelosi, when he tried to confront the intruder. DailyMail.com revealed earlier that the attacker was also accused of sexual abuse by her step-father. Klobuchar accused social media giants of profiting 'off of this violence.' Speaking to NBC News' Meet The Press on Sunday, the moderate Democrat said she would unveil a 'bipartisan amendment' to the annual defense spending bill to remove lawmakers' private data off of the internet in response to the Pelosi attack. Social media watchers were on high alert Friday. Musk formally completed his $44 billion purchase of Twitter and fired three of its top executives.  Asked if she trusts Musk's ownership, Klobuchar bluntly answered: 'No, I do not.' Earlier in the...
According to billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, Republican politicians "don't give a s*** about "woke capitalism" or the implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance metrics. "I just wanted to see if anybody cared, so I said don't play the national anthem," Cuban told Hope King at Axios's inaugural Axios BFD dealmaker summit. "Nobody noticed" until a member of the media pointed it out — then it became "a huge deal." He said Texas passed a law regarding the anthem but that it didn't affect the team since it doesn't take state funding. "No one's mentioned it since," he added. "It's the ultimate virtue signaling." "The system is broken," he later claimed. The entrepreneur...

COVID as we knew it in 2020 “does not exist any more,” according to a top scientist. The virus of the fearsome first waves has faded into a milder bug like flu. 1Britain does not need to fear a crisis like 2020 happening again, says Professor Sir John Bell (Pictured: A Covid patient in intensive care in Cambridge, 2020)Credit: Getty Professor Sir John Bell, an Oxford University expert who advised ministers at the start of the pandemic, said most Brits no longer have to fear catching it. Mayor Eric Adams was slammed by a former New York Police Department commissioner on Sunday for his soft approach to crime in the Big Apple.  NYPD Ray Kelly, who served as commissioner from 1992 to 1994 and again from 2002 to 2013, appeared on WABC 770 AM radio show, dubbed Cats Roundtable, along with host John Catsmatidis on Sunday to discuss the ongoing crime wave in the city. Kelly pointed out subway crimes in the cities have run rampant amid Adams claim earlier this week that there is only a perception that crime is 'out of control' as the city that never sleeps becomes crime ridden. 'We were the safest big city in America just a few years ago,' Kelly said, according to the NY Post. 'This isn't brain surgery. You go back and look at the things we were doing then and you re-implement them. But apparently, the mayor doesn't want to do this.' The former police commissioner's comments comes after Adams was put under pressure after disregarding the crime wave on Monday, and pledged days later to fill...

Former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman predicted InfoWars founder Alex Jones will be “basically broke” for the rest of his days thanks to a shocking verdict awarding nearly $1 billion to families of Sandy Hook families, who sued Jones for defamation. The controversial conspiracy theorist suggested after the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting that it may have been staged. Family members testified they were harassed after these unfounded claims. One father even said his child’s grave was desecrated. Jones has since walked back his original claim and said he believes the shooting occurred. A Connecticut jury decided on Wednesday to award family members a whopping $965 million, money Jones insisted in real time on his show that he does not have. Appearing on Deadline: White House with Nicolle Wallace, Litman said the staggering figure will ensure that Jones never escapes this controversy. “It’s an old sorry tale, one thing to get a verdict and another thing to chase it,” the legal expert said when asked how families could ensure they get compensated. “You can attach his assets. I’m sure there will be...

UFC commentator and analyst Daniel Cormier has pushed back on the idea of the third clash between Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena. Following the result, UFC president Dana White claimed that Pena had lost a big chunk of her forehead due to the damage she took. He indicated that any plans for the future would be on hold till Pena recovered. ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ called for a trilogy bout with Nunes next in an Instagram post this past weekend. “Everyone keeps asking me what’s next,” Peña wrote. “I’m getting my belt back that’s what’s next! Ohio Democratic Senate hopeful Tim Ryan said Monday night that he's been 'very clear' that he doesn't want President Joe Biden to run for a second term.  'No, I've been very clear I'd like to see a generational change. Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, the president, everybody. We need a new generation of leadership,' Ryan said during the Senate debate against Republican rival J.D. Vance.
