The father of one of the 19 children killed inside Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 testified Tuesday against conspiracy theorist and InfoWars host Alex Jones, claiming that one of the host's followers peed on his son's grave.  Mark Barden, the father of seven-year-old Daniel Barden, told a courtroom that Jones and his podcast are responsible for an onslaught of hatred at vitriol aimed at his family following the deadly mass shooting.  According to a reporter from The Huffington Post inside the trial, Barden said that Jones' comments prompted one of his followers to allegedly urinate on Daniel's grave, according to a letter sent to the Connecticut family.  Other letters received by the Bardens promised similar actions, while one person even threatened to dig up Daniel's grave in order to prove that there was no body. Mark Barden wiped away tears in court Tuesday during testimony recounting the horrors his family faced after Daniel Barden was killed inside Sandy Hook Elementary School Daniel Barden was just seven years old when a gunman entered the Newton, Connecticut elementary school and killed 26 people...
An Uvalde elementary school teacher says she was traumatized and 'heartbroken' after police wrongly implied she enabled mass shooter Salvador Rolando Ramos to enter the school by leaving a door propped open. Police initially claimed Ramos had been able to enter Robb Elementary School, where he massacred 19 children and two teachers, by the back door which they said had been propped open by a rock by teacher Emilia Marin. It wasn't until days later that police corrected their statement to confirm that Marin in fact closed the door when she saw the 18-year-old killer approaching, but that the door did not lock as it was intended to. An attorney for Marin, Don Flanary, told CNN on Friday that those days of blame have left Marin psychologically scarred and seeking neurological treatment.  A memorial hangs outside the Robb Elementary School after the mass shooting that killed 19 students and 3 teachers Children flee to safety after escaping through a window of Robb Elementary school during the mass shooting on May 24 'She can't stop shaking,' Flanary told CNN.  'It's traumatic for her when it's...

Dallas Police say they've found no evidence to corroborate the story of a local mother who told officers her three-year-old boy had been fatally shot during a road rage incident - instead arresting the woman on child endangerment charges after discovering a firearm in the glove compartment of her car and gunpowder residue that would suggest the boy had been shot at close range.  Lacravivonne Washington, 26, was arrested on Wednesday following the death of her young son Jalexus Washington on Monday morning, with cops saying they intend to further interview her about the fatal incident.  The mother-of-three is also being jailed for outstanding warrants related to speeding tickets in Carrollton - a town 22 miles north of Dallas - and for not using a child safety seat.  Earlier this week, Wright rushed her son Jalexus to a local hospital with a fatal gunshot wound to his head - telling authorities the deadly shot had been fired after a roadside confrontation. At the time, all three of her children: Layla, 2, Janiyah, 4, and Jalexus, 3, were not wearing their seatbelts...
Philadelphia police are facing questions after releasing mixed messages on an armed 12-year-old boy who was fatally shot in the back by officers on Tuesday, with the police commissioner claiming he was armed and fired at police but her deputy later saying he wasn't sure if he'd done so.   Police identified the boy as Thomas Siderio Jr., saying officers took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a few minutes after the shooting. Officers said that Siderio was white.  One of the four officers in the car was struck by shattered glass in the face and eye, and was treated and released, police said. The panel on "The Five" sounded off Monday after another deadly weekend in the nation's major liberal cities.  Dozens were shot and some killed in Chicago, gunfire erupted in a popular Washington nightlife area, and a mugger beat an elderly man senseless in New York City. In the latter case, the NYPD released the video of a mugger on a Citibike assaulting a 68-year-old man in New Lots, Brooklyn, stealing his valuables and leaving him wounded on the ground. The Detectives union blamed the city and state governments' for "failed" soft-on-crime laws that led up to the incident. Host Greg Gutfeld pointed to the fact that much of the "defund the police" activism that has led to such chronic criminality is driven mostly by "White leftists" in groups like Antifa calling for defunding police on behalf of the minority community, while there have been reports of Black community leaders calling for more policing. One such leader in Brooklyn recently accused Mayor Bill de Blasio of "living in a fantasy world" on that account. "[A]ctivists out there [are] talking about defunding...
