Daunte Wright, the black man shot dead by a white police officer in Minneapolis, has been accused of being involved in two separate shooting incidents before he was killed. The new allegations against the 20-year-old black man have emerged just two months after he was fatally shot by Brooklyn Center cop Kim Potter during an April traffic stop.  Potter, who resigned days after the shooting and is charged with second-degree manslaughter, allegedly mixed up her Taser and her handgun when she opened fire on Wright.  In the days after he was killed, it was revealed that Wright had a warrant out for his arrest at the time and had previously appeared in court for attempted aggravated robbery charges after he allegedly choked and held a woman at gunpoint for $820 in 2019. Now, allegations have surfaced in two different lawsuits that Wright was allegedly involving in the shooting of two men, including one that left the victim permanently disabled and another that occurred just three weeks before his death.  Daunte Wright, the black man shot dead by a white police...

Taylor Penley, The Western Journal April 22, 2021 0 Comments When we think of America’s nanny state, we often think of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Big Gulp ban, former first lady Michelle Obama’s school lunch rules or the ongoing White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci orthodoxy surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that President Joe Biden has delivered an especially conditional promise of freedom from the pandemic by Independence Day, it appears the left’s self-endowed guardianship of the American people is far from over. “To celebrate our independence from this virus on July 4th with family and friends in small groups, we still have more to do in the months of May and June. We all need to mask up until the number of cases goes down, until everyone has a chance to get their shot,” Biden said in a Wednesday statement. “To Americans 16 years and older, it’s your turn now. Now. So go get your vaccine before the end of May. We can do this. And we’ll do this as long as we...

Lisa Marie Presley’s son Benjamin Keough had recently been to rehab for substance addiction weeks before he shot himself dead in the early hours of Sunday morning, new reports suggest. Keough’s girlfriend Diana Pinto was heard screaming 'Don't do it' to the 27-year-old as he held a gun up to his chest and then fatally pulled the trigger at Lisa Marie's luxury Calabasas, California mansion. While the details of the moments leading up to the believed suicide remain unclear, a source who has reportedly known Keough since he was a child revealed to writer Tony Ortega that the grandson of Elvis had recently been struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. The source also claimed that Keough had recently spoken to him about ‘how f***** up kids get in Scientology,’ having been brought up in the church with his sister Riley, before his mother fell out with its controversial leader, David Miscavige, in 2014. ‘The important thing is that the entire family was shaped by Scientology, and it’s paying the price because of it,’ the source said. American sprinter Noah Lyles briefly appeared to have broken Usain Bolt's world record for the 200 metres - only to discover bungling organisers had started his run from the wrong place. Lyles put in what looked like a sensational run timed at 18.91 seconds at the Inspiration Games in Florida, a time that would have smashed the 19.19 best set by Jamaican star Bolt back in 2009. President Trump launched his comeback rally with a carefully crafted effort to define his rival Joe Biden as a “Trojan horse for socialism” in an attempt to get a sputtering campaign, blighted by poor polls, back on track. Enthusiastic supporters, largely unencumbered by masks, shrugged off fears of COVID-19 to bellow, “Four more years.” But Trump’s promised show of force on Saturday was blighted by thousands of empty seats and an outdoor speech at a spill-over stage was abandoned at the last minute. Yet that failed to diminish Trump’s energy as he took to the stage and promised to stop the radical left in its attack on American heritage. “I stand before you today to declare the silent majority is stronger than ever before,” he thundered, with all the gusto of a man deprived of the arena stage for three months. “We're going to stop the radical left. We're going to build a future of safety and opportunity for Americans of every race, color, religion and creed.” It was early March when Trump last held a rally. Back then,...
Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway sought Thursday to diminish John Bolton's record as President Trump's national security adviser, telling "Special Report" that many of the administration's "national security accomplishments ... happened before he got there or after he left." "When people do tell-all books, I prefer that they tell us all what they accomplished in those positions," Conway told host Bret Baier while discussing Bolton's forthcoming memior, "The Room Where It Happened." "I also would point out, and others have done this," Conway added, "that Ambassador Bolton, John Bolton had many nice things to say about this president." WHITE HOUSE TRADE ADVISER PETER NAVARRO BLASTS JOHN BOLTON'S BOOK: IT'S 'DEEP SWAMP REVENGE PORN' Conway noted that in August 2018, Bolton told reporters in the White House briefing room that Trump had "taken decisive action to defend our election systems from meddling and interference." "In his book," she told Baier, "he claims that the president is asking President Xi [of China] to help him win farmers in the Midwest. This makes no sense." Conway was referring to a claim by Bolton that...
