For a team that’s 5-0 and remains the only undefeated team in the NFL, it isn’t peaches and cream for the Arizona Cardinals at the moment. On October 13, the team announced pass rusher, Chandler Jones, tested positive for COVID-19 and anchor center Rodney Hudson with a ribs injury. Now, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, two unnamed people in the Cardinals organization have tested positive for COVID-19 after linebacker Chandler Jones was placed on the Reserve/COVID list this week. Graziano is also saying since the team has three positives, one more positive would put them in intensive protocols. This would lead to the whole organization going through daily testing, more masking and limitations at their facilities as well as limiting indoor practicing. Since Jones is vaccinated, he needs two negative tests 24 hours apart and with no symptoms for 48 hours. Coach Kliff Kingsbury told the media on October 13 that Jones was experiencing symptoms. Kyler Murray’s abilities and Kliff Kingsbury’s game plan to get everyone involved. Cornerback Byron Murphy has ascended into one of the best single-coverage defensive backs in the league. The defense forced two turnovers against the Los Angeles Rams. So that leaves us with one question. Can the undefeated Cardinals get even better? Absolutely. Star wideout DeAndre Hopkins has been limited in production since Week 2. It’s crazy to think that 33-year-old A.J. Green has more yards than Hopkins. But of course, he’s dealt with a ribs injury that could’ve easily held him out against the Jaguars in Week 3. So what other places or players can make an even bigger impact on this roster? No way around it, Taylor Lewan had an absolutely miserable time blocking Chandler Jones. A big reason why the Arizona Cardinals went into Nissan Stadium and had their way with the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 was the mismatch in the trenches between Chandler Jones and Taylor Lewan. It’s been a challenging and eventful 11 months for Arizona Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones. Jones’ season was cut short by a biceps injury in October that sidelined him for the final 11 games of the 2020 campaign. Unhappy with his contract, the three-time Pro Bowler skipped the Cardinals’ June minicamp, and by July, word had gotten out that Jones had asked the Cardinals to trade him during the offseason. Watt to the Arizona Cardinals. © Sean Logan/The Republic via Imagn Content Services, LLC On Monday, after Watt revealed he was signing with the Cardinals, Jones posted a screenshot of a direct message he sent roughly two weeks ago. It sounds like he’s going to be a busy guy. In reality, Jones was probably a key factor in Watt’s decision, but not because of his cooking. With 61 sacks in 69 games since joining Arizona, Jones is one of the league’s most dangerous pass rushers in his own right. Pairing him with Watt is just going...

While significant changes could be coming for the desert this spring, edge rusher Chandler Jones likely won’t be one of the cap casualties. © Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports Aug 28, 2020; Arizona Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones during Red & White Practice at State Farm Stadium.  Arizona is projected to have approximately $20 million in cap space available this offseason, even less when factoring in salaries for their 2021 NFL Draft picks. Big moves will be made on both sides of the ball, with Kenyan Drake and Patrick Peterson both likely to depart. With so many needs on the roster, some around the NFL started suggesting that Jones could be released this offseason. Numerous star players are set to hit the free agent market, but many other stars could be on the move via trade. Stars like Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson, and others have been brought into trade rumors. The New York Giants are a team that will likely be shopping for a stud player in the free agent market. The Giants showed a lot of improvement in 2020, finishing 6-10, just one game away from a playoff berth. But it is evident that the Giants still need a few more pieces on their roster. Offensively, the Giants are making it a point of emphasis to find a playmaker for Daniel Jones. But the defense could use some help, too. Amongst the star players having their name brought up in trade rumors is one interesting...
The co-main event at UFC 257 saw the UFC debut of Michael Chandler. ‘Iron’ was a champion at Bellator MMA, and the face of the promotion for the better part of the decade. He could not have asked for a better UFC debut. Twitter reacts as Michael Chandler secures a stunning debut win Tv show host Jim Rome tweeted in anticipation of Michael...

Jon Jones is considered one of the greatest fighters in UFC history. This is because the American holds a terrific record of 26-1-0 in his MMA career, and he’s been a light heavyweight kingpin for ages. The 33-year-old legend is one of the most dangerous fighters inside the octagon who has made history in a brief span of time in the promotion. SANTA CLARA — Trent Williams’ mano-a-mano battles with Nick Bosa unequivocally highlighted the 49ers’ training camp. Those matchups only came in the opening days, however. Bosa and fellow defensive end Dee Ford have not practiced since Aug. 21, having pulled up with leg strains only a week into camp. So as truly phenomenal as Williams looks as the 49ers’ new left tackle, and as primed as right tackle Mike McGlinchey appears for Year 3, are those bookends ready for a Week 1 matchup with one of the league’s top sack artists, the Arizona Cardinals’ Chandler Jones? Jimmy Garoppolo could be insulated better than ever this season with Williams and McGlinchey walling off pass rushers. Jones will test that. “You don’t want to do it any other way than getting the best in Week 1,” McGlinchey said. Jones is exactly who Williams faced in his last season opener, that coming in Washington’s 2018 win at Arizona; Williams he sat out 2019 amid cancer recovery. Williams does not need to cram for his first 49ers assignment. When the schedule came out this...
