I just wanted to show you guys that I really do use these. And they’re great.” Jenner’s not the only star to show off her cosmetics-free complexion while social distancing; Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Tracee Ellis Ross, among others, have also recently shared makeup-free selfies with their fans. Kendall Jenner is finally joining the Kylie Cosmetics family. Kylie Jenner, 22, has been teasing a makeup collaboration with her sister for quite some time, but the collection has finally been put into production. On Wednesday, Jenner posted a sneak peek at the packaging, which features the sisters cheek-to-cheek with what appears to be warm brown and neutral-toned makeup and dark glossy lipstick. It’s unclear when exactly the Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics collection will be available for purchase, but Jenner promises the products will be released “soon.” Kendall hinted that the collaboration would be coming soon during a January appearance on “Ellen” following the end of her modeling contract with Estée Lauder, even revealing that she was wearing some of it on the show. “I feel like we’re really going big because I’m her full blood,” Kendall said. “So we’re taking it seriously.” Though the sisters have a fashion line, Kendall is the last of the family to get in on the makeup mogul’s empire; Jenner has previously launched collaborations with momager Kris Jenner, sisters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney...
Coty has tapped a new head of Kylie Cosmetics in the wake of explosive allegations that the unit’s 22-year-old founder, Kylie Jenner, has been lying about her sales in a desperate attempt to be named a billionaire. The parent of CoverGirl and OPI brands this week named Coty insider Simona Cattaneo to oversee Kylie Cosmetics’ global expansion – just five months after it named Christoph Honnefelder to the same job. The beauty company appointed Honnefelder, a former executive with European specialty retailer Douglas, as the head of Kylie Cosmetics in January, but he never officially joined the company before being replaced, Coty told The Post. Honnefelder “announced to the senior team internally a number of weeks ago that he would not be assuming the role of CEO of Kylie Beauty for personal reasons,” Coty said. It’s Coty’s latest confounding C-Suite announcement since Friday, when its shares plunged on a report claiming that Jenner has been lying to Forbes magazine about the success of her cosmetic company in an effort to boost her Forbes wealth ranking. On Monday, Coty said its...
Coty can’t get enough of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. The New York cosmetics giant is in talks with Kim Kardashian West to collaborate on “certain beauty products,” the company revealed in a securities filing on Tuesday. Coty already has a 51-percent stake in Kardashian’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner’s beauty company, Kylie Cosmetics, for which it shelled out $600 million last year. The Kylie Jenner collaboration came under scrutiny last week after Forbes magazine alleged that Jenner had been overplaying the value of her cosmetics brand and that she wasn’t a billionaire as she claimed. Coty’s new chief executive officer said on Monday the allegations came as a “mystery” to him. Shares of the company rose nearly 7 percent on Wednesday after the possibility of another collaboration with the family, adding to the 20-percent gains in Coty’s stock seen earlier this week, when it named chairman Peter Harf as its new CEO. Coty, however, said there was no assurance that an agreement or collaboration would be reached and did not provide any further details. “The Company does not intend to comment further...
