    The grand prize winner of Scuba Diving Magazine's 2020 Through Your Lens underwater photography contest. Evans Baudin/Scuba Diving Magazine While diving in Baja California, Mexico, Evans Baudin captured a close-up of a whale shark carrying dozens of suckerfish in her mouth. Chris Cassidy/NASA Hurricane Laura, which has already killed 13 people, is expected to make landfall near the Texas-Louisiana border on Thursday.  An astronaut photographed the storm from the International Space Station as it headed towards the Gulf Coast. Millions of people around the world marveled as the Perseids meteor shower peaked Tuesday and Wednesday — a spectacular conclusion to a summer filled with cosmic phenomena that included a once-in-a-lifetime comet.  The annual meteor shower is popular for bringing up to 100 meteors per hour, bright tails of color and explosive fireballs.
