Republicans have slammed the FBI after an analyst claimed the Bureau offered retired British spy Christopher Steele $1 million in cash to prove the salacious allegations in his infamous 'Dirty Dossier' on former president Donald Trump. FBI supervisory analyst Brian Auten testified that the bureau made the offer in 2016 during a meeting in the United Kingdom - but didn't hand over the money because Steele couldn't back up the evidence. The 35-page file penned by Steele claimed the Kremlin had compromising evidence against Trump - including videos of him involved in sexual activities in a Moscow hotel.  Rep. Jim Jordan described the revelation as a 'disgrace' while others criticized the FBI for getting too involved in politics. 'You can't make this stuff up. But I think it just underscores how out of touch and how political the FBI has become,' Jordan said on Fox Business. The revelations 'further validates what we all know, which is that the FBI is purely political now, going after their political opposition,' he said. Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. wrote 'what a disgrace' on Twitter,...
DEAR MISS MANNERS: My 8-year-old was invited to a party at a place that specializes in kids’ birthdays. As the children at this party are still quite young, each guest was accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. When the activities were over, we were led to a room where the food and cake would be served. There were 13 children and only three pizzas. Each child was seated and served by the event staff. The parents were not offered even a glass of water. This might have been forgivable earlier in the day, but the party was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Once the children had been fed, the mother of the birthday boy informed us that there were six or seven slices of pizza left if the parents were hungry. Thankfully, there was enough cake to go around. As a parent, I don’t expect to participate in the planned activities, but I also don’t expect to be excluded from the snacks or meal offered to the children. Actor Jon Voight broke down in tears while interviewing Donald Trump and discussing a story in which the ex-president offered to pay for cancer treatments for a golf course employee. The former president said very few words himself during the 20-minute segment as the actor opined about what he believes were Trump's successes in office and thanked him for building golf courses. It prompted Trump to smirk after the interview, 'I didn't have to do too much talking.' And an emotional Voight told Trump in a bizarre ending, 'I hope it's worthy of you.' But what moved him to tears was the recollection of a story Voight said he had been told at one of Trump's many golf courses about a woman who worked there named 'Sally' who Trump apparently knew was going through cancer treatment. 'You went in and said yeah, "She's -have her come see me," and you went to one of the offices, and she came in, and you said, "I hear you having a little bit of a difficulty." And she said "Well, I have some...

A lawyer claims that Brian Laundrie's mother, Roberta Laundrie, wrote him a secret letter after he killed his fiance Gabby Petito where she 'offered to assist him'.  Attorney Patrick Riley, who is representing Petito's parents in a civil suit against the family, appeared on NewsNation, where he hinted that even the lawyer for Laundrie's parents, Steven Bertolino, was surprised by the bombshell letter.  'Within that letter is an offer from Roberta Laundrie to assist her son,' Riley said. 'It's a pretty interesting, pretty odd letter.'  Petito's parents, Joseph Petito and Nicole Schmidt, have filed a lawsuit against Christopher and Roberta Laundrie in a Florida court accusing them of harboring Brian and conspiring to help him flee to avoid taking responsibility for his crime. Riley suggested that the letter could offer proof.  On the outside of the envelope, which was found in Petito's van which the couple used on a cross-country road trip, Roberta Laundrie had written 'burn after you read this,' Riley told News Nation. After some high-profile retweeting of her plea, Mara Soriano once again has the teddy bear that talks like her mother. Mara Soriano’s bear. (Mara Soriano via CNN) The stuffed animal was stolen last week while Soriano and her fiance were unloading a U-Haul trailer outside their new Vancouver home. It had special sentimental value: It played a recording made by Soriano’s mother shortly before she died last year of cancer at age 53. “It said she loved me, she was proud of me, and she’ll always be with me,” Soriano told CNN. “I hugged it every time I missed her.” Security video showed a man grabbing the bag that contained the bear and walking away. When CBC reported the story, actor Ryan Reynolds — a proud Vancouverite — offered a reward. “Vancouver: $5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara,” he tweeted Saturday. “Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home.” Canadian TV personality George Stroumboulopoulos and Kraft Peanut Butter also pitched in $5,000 each. Other celebrities including Dan Levy and Zach Braff tweeted their...
