Photo via Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images Former President Donald Trump continued his wild attacks on GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Friday. “Is McConnell approving all of these Trillions of Dollars worth of Democrat sponsored Bills, without even the slightest bit of negotiation, because he hates Donald J. Trump, and he knows I am strongly opposed to them, or is he doing it because he believes in the Fake and Highly Destructive Green New Deal, and is willing to take the Country down with him?” wrote Trump on his Truth Social platform. “In any event, either reason is unacceptable. He has a DEATH WISH. Must immediately seek help and advise from his China loving wife, Coco Chow!” Trump concluded. McConnell’s wife Elaine Chao was born in Taiwan and served in both Trump and President George W. Bush’s cabinet – becoming the first Asian American woman ever to serve in a presidential cabinet. Trump’s statement quickly went viral. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes commented, “Kinda seems like the ex-president just posted a death threat aimed at Mitch McConnell… I mean, I guess...

The protection that fully vaccinated Americans have against COVID-19 infection severely drops over time, a new study suggests. A team led by the Public Health Institute in Oakland, California, found that the overall effectiveness of the three Covid vaccines available in the U.S fell from 87 percent in March to 48 percent by September. Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients are especially at risk with just 13 percent efficacy against contracting the virus.   However researchers found that the shots are still highly protective against death from Covid. The combined effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines has dropped below 50% as of September. The J&J vaccine is the least effective, only reducing risk of infection by 13%. Pfizer's shot reduces risk of infection by 43% and the Moderna by 58% While the vaccines are not as effective at preventing infection from Covid anymore, they still reduce a person's risk of death from the virus. Researchers found that it can reduce likelihood of death for a person under 65from 2.6% to 1.6% (left). The shots reduce risk of death for people over 65 from...

Former America's Most Wanted host John Walsh says he thinks fugitive Brian Laundrie may have escaped to Mexico with the help of his parents, and that they may have given him a gun. The manhunt continues for Gabby Petito's former fiancé continues after a coroner announced she was strangled.  Walsh made his predictions about Laundrie's whereabouts during Wednesday night's airing of 'Gabby Petito: ID Special Report' on pay television network ID.  He said the fugitive's parents, Christopher and Roberta, could have helped him slip across the border unnoticed, as thousands of migrants are also doing. 'It's a great time to be heading south, because [there are] thousands of refugees,' he said. 'He could walk across the border naked with his hair on fire, and nobody would notice him. I think that's maybe where he's hiding — and somebody might be helping him,' he added.   Walsh also suggested that Laundrie may have been given a weapon by his family. He said: 'I believe they might have given him a gun. I would hate to see someone else become a victim of this...

There were many American heroes on 9/11, but the greatest were the passengers and crew of Flight 93. Not only did they avert what Al Qaeda planned—a direct hit on the White House—but they also embodied Patrick Henry’s credo “Give me liberty, or give me death!” Do those words still have a meaning in the America of 2020?
