    A Dominican drug lord who has been linked to shooting that nearly killed baseball legend David Ortiz before fleeing to Colombia, where he was captured two years ago, is finally in the custody of U.S. authorities. César Emilio 'El Abusador' Peralta was extradited on Wednesday from Colombia to Puerto Rico, where he faces drug trafficking charges.  Puerto Rico officials accuse Peralta of leading an organization based out of the Dominican Republic that received tons of cocaine shipments from Colombia and Venezuela. Massive loads of the the drug were then transported to Puerto Rico and the United States for distribution, officials charge. 'This arrest and extradition underscore the collaboration and cooperation between our law enforcement partners, as well as our commitment and resolve to combat transnational organized crime,' U.S. Attorney W.     (CNN)The in-custody death of Marvin David Scott III in Texas has been ruled a homicide by the Collin County Medical Examiner.Scott died after being placed on a restraint bed, pepper-sprayed, and having a spit mask put on his face while in custody at the Collin County Detention Facility north of Dallas in March.Scott's cause of death was "fatal acute stress response in an individual with previously diagnosed schizophrenia during restraint struggle with law enforcement," Collin County Medical Examiner Dr. William Rohr said in a news release.Laboratory results are still pending before Scott's final autopsy report can be completed, the release said.     The in-custody death of Marvin David Scott III, a 26-year-old Black man who was allegedly pepper-sprayed and had a spit mask placed on his face while he was held at a Texas detention facility in March, was ruled a homicide on Wednesday.  Dr. William Rohr, the medical examiner in Collin County, said Scott's death was caused by "fatal acute stress response in an individual with previously diagnosed schizophrenia during restraint struggle with law enforcement." Rohr's office said it's waiting to obtain laboratory results before publishing a final autopsy report. Scott was taken into custody on March 14 by officers from the Allen Police Department, who said he was "acting in an erratic manner" at an outlet mall. He was transported to a hospital and held in an emergency room for approximately three hours "due to the possible ingestion of drugs," Allen police said. Pasulka is already facing criminal charges related to sexual assault and abuse allegations, including accusations that he offered to recommend a parent get full custody of her children in exchange for sex with him. He is also accused of sexually assaulting several employees. Pasulka was charged in August with one count of criminal sexual assault, one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of criminal sexual abuse — charges that could carry a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
