Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young left the team’s game against Arkansas with an apparent shoulder injury. The Alabama Crimson Tide were set to play their second SEC opponent of the season, as they went on the road to take on the No. 20 Arkansas Razorbacks. Young played well through the first half, giving his team an early 14-0 lead. But, there was some bad news early on in the second quarter. Young scrambled to the sidelines and was caught by the legs. As he fell, he attempted to throw the ball away, and landed hard on his right shoulder. The following play, Young attempted a pass, then immediately signaled over to the sideline. When CBS cameras showed that sequence, Young’s right shoulder hung low. Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young appeared to injure his shoulder against Arkansas on Saturday afternoon. The replay didn’t look great. Young is among the top-3 Heisman frontrunners, and for good reason. He’s also a projected first-round NFL Draft pick, if not top-10. So, forgive me when I say that any scratch on his body is rather large news. Against Arkansas, Young appeared to hurt his upper arm and/or shoulder on one of two plays. First, Young scrambled out of the pocket and was tackled on this play. Heres the play where Bryce Young got injured. He was clearly frustrated. Getty Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Rashad Fenton has been downgraded to out in Week 13. The Kansas City Chiefs’ first-team defense suffered an injury in Week 2 of the preseason against the Washington Commanders. Early in the second quarter, Fenton was banged up after a 15-yard completion from Commanders QB Carson Wentz to tight end Armani Rodgers. Chiefs CB Rashad Fenton shaken up on the play, walking to the sidelines with athletic trainers. Hes now in the blue medical tent. — Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) August 20, 2022 After going to the blue medical tent, Fenton then worked his way to the locker room, presumably putting an end to his day. Fenton is leaving the field. He was likely to be done with the second-team defense rolling, anyway, but hes heading to the locker room. https://t.co/TbqVjihwBK — Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) August 20, 2022 We will have to wait until the game is over to receive an update from head coach Andy Reid on the severity of Fenton’s injury.

U.S. detains 14 Mexican soldiers who accidentally crossed border New York Democrat says SALT deal could be reached this week The scariest moment of last weekend's "Sunday Night Football" game came midway through the fourth quarter, when Green Bay Packers wide receiver took a hard hit to the helmet while trying to catch a pass. The hit by San Francisco 49ers safety Jimmie Ward left Adams face down and motionless on the ground for more than a minute. He eventually got up and left the field under his own power, then was checked out by trainers in the medical tent on the sideline. About two minutes later, after missing all of one play, Adams was back in the game like nothing ever happened. He would eventually finish the game with 12 receptions for 132 receptions and a touchdown, with two of those catches setting up the Packers' game-winning field goal. That sequence of events left many skeptical that Adams was properly tested for a concussion or other head injury. He had taken a violent hit to the head and...
NORTH LAWNDALE — A West Side hospital is offering coronavirus vaccines to music fans gathering in North Lawndale for this year’s Riot Fest. Saint Anthony Hospital will be giving both the Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday at the medical tent near the Douglass Park entrance at Ogden Avenue and Sacramento Boulevard. Residents of the surrounding area are also welcome to stop by to get vaccinated. Visitors need to be fully vaccinated or have recently tested negative for coronavirus in order to attend the punk, rock ‘n’ roll and alternative music festival. Since it takes time for the vaccines to take full effect, the on-site jabs do not qualify visitors to enter the festival unless they have proof of a negative test result.
