    In the latest violent attack on the New York City subway, a 43-year-old man was randomly attacked by a thug in a Supreme beanie who stabbed him in the head and torso then fled and remains on the run.  The attack happened last Sunday at 6.30pm on a southbound 3 train at Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn. The NYPD says the attacker produced a knife then stabbed his victim in the head and torso before fleeing.  The pair were not known to each other but they had some form of dispute on the train.  The victim was taken to the hospital in a stable condition despite being wounded in the head.     One man was killed and another is in critical condition following a stabbing outside a popular Fairfield County nightclub. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:55 a.m., Sunday, June 5 at the. Club Azul, located at 922 Madison Ave. When officers responded to a reported stabbing/assault at the club, they found a 27-year-old Bridgeport man with deep wounds and lacerations to his torso, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police. The victim was quickly transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition, Gilleran said. During that time, the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center updated responding officers of a second victim that had arrived at an area hospital via private vehicle with life-threatening stab wounds to his torso, head, and extremities, Gilleran said. The video, released by the New York Police Department on Wednesday, shows a 36-year-old female walking down the platform at the 34th Street Herald Square station on Monday shortly after 6pm, when a man with a lime green and black jacket could be seen kneeling down in an apparent attempt to pick something up from the ground. The woman, carrying a Macy's shopping bag, looks over at the man who runs down the platform as a 33-year-old woman in a black jacket and gray backpack chases after him.     Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a man in Bellflower early Thursday after he stabbed another individual with a three-foot garden claw, authorities said. Shortly after midnight, deputies responding to reports of street racing near Downey Avenue and Artesia Boulevard were approached by an individual who said a man had stabbed him with a garden claw, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. The man pointed out the suspect, who ran south on Downey Avenue, the Sheriff’s Department said.     A 31-year-old homeless man stabbed another dead over the weekend at the homeless shelter they had been staying at in Newark, authorities said. Kevin T. Williams, 34, was rushed to University Hospital after being stabbed by Michael Wylie at the shelter on Sussex Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 5, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, said.  He was pronounced dead at 1:21 a.m., on Sunday, Feb. 6, Stephens said alongside Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara. Wylie was charged with the murder.     A 27-year-old man was stabbed during a botched robbery near Grand Central Station, as violent crimes soar in New York City. The victim, who has not been identified by police, was approached by two men around 2am on Monday near Madison Avenue. He sustained injuries to his abdomen and right hand and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is now recovering, police said.     BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Baltimore man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after he allegedly stabbed another man on I-895 in Baltimore County, Maryland Transportation Authority Police said Friday. On Sept. 8 around 9:45 p.m., an officer on patrol pulled over to investigate two vehicles on the shoulder of the northbound side of I-895 near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. The officer found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds “who stated that another man had a knife and had stabbed him,” police said. Additional officers arrived and arrested 31-year-old Jose Funes Gutierrez, who was later transported to the Baltimore County Detention Center. The victim was taken to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries, police said.     BOSTON (CBS) — State Police are looking for a knife-wielding man who allegedly stabbed another motorist during a road rage incident in Boston Saturday afternoon. It happened just after 3 p.m. on West Roxbury Parkway near Centre Street. It is still unclear what led to the incident, but police say the suspect got out his car and stabbed another man in the chest. He then fled the scene. Woodrow Stevenson Head Jr. was sentenced on October 29, 2020, in the 40th Judicial District Court of Ellis County. After Head was sentenced by Judge Bob Carroll, Morris’s step daughter read the family’s victim impact statement.     A man has died after he was repeatedly stabbed in the legs following a dispute on a lower Manhattan subway station in New York City on Saturday, officials revealed. The attack unfolded just before 3pm on the northbound J/Z train platform in Chambers Street Station, near to City Hall, where the victim, in his 20s, had been ensnared in an argument with another man, said to be in his 30s. The cause of the dispute is unknown, but the altercation quickly turned violent.     SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Two men were hospitalized on Thursday after a fight inside a vehicle ended with one man shot and another stabbed. According to Miami-Dade Police, the two unidentified men were in a vehicle at 11503 Quail Roost Drive. There was a violent dispute that ended in bloodshed. Police say one man shot the other but the gunshot victim also fought back and stabbed the man with the gun.     STOCKTON (CBS13) – An elderly man arrested in Stockton is accused of stabbing another man during an argument on Saturday night, authorities said. The Stockton Police Department said the stabbing happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of East Anderson Street. Authorities did not say if the weapon used was a knife. The victim was taken to the hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries. His identity was not released and police did not say if the two men were known to each other. The suspect, Reynaldo Velasquez, 77, faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
