Tucker Carlson on Tuesday night joked about Jennifer Lawrence's revelation of her 'nightmares' about him, laughing that he was not to blame if he appeared in the dreams of Hollywood starlets. Lawrence, 32, told Vogue magazine that she was sad and angry that some of her relatives supported Donald Trump. Born into a Republican family in Kentucky, she said she struggled to come to terms with their views - and had nightmares about Carlson. The Fox News host on Tuesday could not resist referencing her claims. 'When you decide to work in television, you lose control of a lot of things,' Carlson told his viewers, furrowing his brow. 'Foremost, the way other people perceive you. 'So can it really be your fault, are you really responsible, if major Hollywood starlets dream about you?' He then pulled out a pair of black spectacles. 'Maybe it's the sexy glasses,' he deadpanned. Prince William 'cannot just forget' about his rift with Prince Harry and feels a 'constant strain' over the feud, a royal expert has claimed. Speaking to OK!, Duncan Larcombe - author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story - said the Duke of Cambridge, 39, and the Duke of Sussex, 37, 'both have a lot of regret' over their disagreements and feel like they've 'lost a best friend' but their 'stubborness' is preventing a reconciliation.  The brothers have been separated by a rift that is said to have begun in March 2019 when William reportedly threw Harry and Meghan out of Kensington Palace over the alleged bullying of staff, which has been denied, with the Sussexes breaking up their joint foundation and setting up a new office at Buckingham Palace.  The claims emerged in Robert Lacey's book Battle of Brothers, published before Harry and Meghan went on Oprah to accuse the Royal Family of racism and claim they were abandoned when the Duchess of Sussex was suicidal and six months pregnant. The fuss began last weekend, when news broke that Queen Elizabeth, Prince William and Prince Charles had combined to threaten the BBC with a tri-household boycott over a new documentary, entitled The Princes and the Press. The film, it was reported, would claim that their offices had briefed against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to undermine them as their plans to depart the British monarchy became public. The palace had used similar tactics earlier in the year to successfully get an ITV documentary, Harry and William: What Went Wrong to withdraw a claim that William’s team planted a story questioning Harry’s mental health as the Sussex exit unfolded. But the BBC would not be cowed. The broadcast went ahead Monday night, presented by the corporation’s media editor Amol Rajan, with part two due next Monday. The first episode did not go into detail on the allegations; the second episode follows this Monday—neither have been seen pre-broadcast by the royals or their aides, although the BBC reportedly offered the palace a right of reply.
On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel gleefully took aim at one of his favorite targets: Ted Cruz, the Republican senator from Texas who bent the knee to Trump after he accused Cruz’s father of killing JFK and called his wife ugly. You see, Cruz, who also helped spread the Big Lie that led to the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and tried to escape to the Four Seasons in Cancun when his home state was in the midst of a deadly weather crisis, has been angry-tweeting at the Sesame Street character Big Bird for tweeting that he’d been vaccinated. “Speaking of blowhards picking fights, have you been following the Twitter feud between Ted Cruz and Big Bird?” asked Kimmel. “After the FDA approved the vaccine for children ages five to eleven, Big Bird tweeted, ‘I got the COVID-19 vaccine today!’—you know, Big Bird is, like, a six-year-old—‘My wing is feeling a little sore, but it’ll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy,’” the host explained. “And Ted Cruz, who desperately just wants to be noticed,...
President Joe Biden is meeting with feuding factions of his party Wednesday in an attempt to save the bulk of his domestic agenda from legislative implosion. The items at stake are Democrats’ sweeping $3.5 trillion social safety net and the bipartisan infrastructure bill. Despite his party’s congressional majorities, moderates and progressives find themselves miles apart on the size and scope of the spending package, with the latter warning that they will tank the public works bill if moderates trim down the multitrillion dollar legislation. Biden is meeting with both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, responsible for navigating the legislation through their caucuses with just three and zero votes to spare, respectively. The meetings come just five days before the House is set to vote on the infrastructure bill, and progressives have vowed to vote against it if the budget remains unfinished. TYLER, the Creator has reignited a years old feud with hip hop rival DJ Khaled. The two rap superstars first had it out when Tyler, the Creator knocked DJ Khaled's album off the No1 spot. 2Tyler, the Creator performed at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival on July 31 Why are DJ Khaled and Tyler, the Creator feuding? The bad blood began in 2019 when both artists released albums at around the same time, leading to a bitter chart war. 2019 On May 17 Tyler, the Creator's Igor was released by Epic Records That very same day, Columbia Records dropped DJ Khaled's album, Father of Asahd, which is named for the rapper's son, resulting in a battle for the number 1 over the next few weeks. A promotional bundle for Father of Asahd was excluded from the overall sales count used by Billboard, meaning that more than 100,000 sales were disqualified - resulting in Tyler snagging the number one spot. A disgruntled Khaled then took to Instagram over the issue, posting a video in which he appeared...
This is the story of a feud both rotten and vicious; a falling-out which has reached the High Court. At stake is a payday of as much as £5 million per person — a mouth-watering sum for former punk icons the Sex Pistols, who have long complained that they barely made a quid from the music which shook the world 44 years ago. Anyone who knows the men involved is not in the slightest bit surprised about the feud. It follows decades of slights, barbs and chilly years-long silences. The current crisis — which by common agreement marks the very end for the Pistols — has been provoked by the question of whether their music should be licensed for use in a forthcoming big budget TV series about the band, Pistol. John Lydon, known by his stage name Johnny Rotten, says it should not be used. He regards the idea as 'the most disrespectful s*** I've ever had to endure.' Former bandmates, drummer Paul Cook and guitarist Steve Jones, insist it should. The spat has now ended up in court...
The bitter war of words between William and Harry was sparked by the Duke of Cambridge’s office planting stories about Prince Harry’s state of mind, it has been claimed. In a new documentary about the brothers’ feud tonight, Prince Harry’s biographer Omid Scobie alleges it was ‘no coincidence’ that William’s aides at Kensington Palace began a briefing campaign against him the day after he appeared to sensationally confirm longstanding rumours of a rift. It was in 2019, at the end of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s tour of South Africa, that Harry told ITV’s Tom Bradby that he and his brother ‘were on different paths’. In the same programme, Meghan revealed to Bradby that she was ‘surviving, not thriving’ and suggested the Royal Family had been neglectful, adding that ‘not many people have asked me if I am OK’. After the first season of “The Challenge: All Stars” was announced on Paramount Plus, many fans of the show began criticizing some of the casting choices for being considered all stars. This week, things got heated between Jemmye and reality TV brothers Cody and Paulie Calafiore as they discussed her inclusion on the first season of “All Stars.” Cody was speaking with Paulie and Cara Maria Sorbello when he said, “I’m absolutely blown away that there was an “All Star” season and Cara wasn’t on the all-star season. They had people that started around the same time as you. It was absolutely mind-blowing, I don’t understand it. I don’t think we should get into it, but I don’t understand it.” Paulie replied to Cody, “That’s fair, I...

I never met her. I’m understanding she’s not that active with her bills or in committee. President Donald Trump is in open revolt against public health experts in his own administration and against, it would seem, reality. In comments to Greta Van Susteren on Tuesday, Trump lashed out at Dr. Anthony Fauci,  director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and contradicted his claim that we’re still “knee-deep” in the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Fauci said we’re in a “serious situation that we have to address immediately.” Trump would hear none of it. “Well, I think we are in a good place,” Trump told Van Susteren. “I disagree with him. Dr. Fauci said don’t wear masks and now he says wear them. And he said numerous things. Don’t close off China. Don’t ban China. I did it anyway. I didn’t listen to my experts and I banned China. We would have been in much worse shape. You wouldn’t believe the number of deaths more we would have had if we didn’t do the ban. And then we banned Europe also when Italy and the various countries were in such trouble. So, we’ve done...
There’s a battle brewing for control of entertainment giant Cirque du Soleil, The Post has learned. On Monday, the circus entertainer filed for bankruptcy protection in Canada, citing the coronavirus, which has forced it to cancel its shows around the world — leaving it unable to pay its debts. The company — known for its fire-eating, high-flying acrobatic shows — told the court it supports a plan for a group of investors led by David Bonderman’s TPG to buy it out of bankruptcy for $400 million. But a group of creditors holding two-thirds of the senior loan — including Los Angeles Dodgers’ co-owner Todd Boehly — are gearing up to oppose that plan, as it gives TPG and other equity investors a controlling 55 percent stake while leaving them with a minority interest and mere pennies on the dollar for their loans. The counteroffer, to be presented to the court on Tuesday, calls for a majority of the company’s $1.2 billion debt to be exchanged for control of the company, and for $375 million in new loans to help Cirque...
By John Geddie and Aradhana Aravindan SINGAPORE (Reuters) - A public rift between the heirs of Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's modern day founder, has shot to the fore with the prospect of his two sons squaring off at a July 10 general election. Lee Hsien Yang on Wednesday formally joined a new opposition party competing against his brother Lee Hsien Loong's People's Action Party, which has ruled the city-state since its independence since 1965. The move comes amid a long-standing and bitter dispute between the siblings centred around what to do with their late father's house - demolish it, or let the government decide whether to make it a heritage landmark. On one side of the dispute stands the eldest son, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, 68, who believes the government must decide what should be done. On the other are his siblings - Lee Hsien Yang and his sister Lee Wei Ling. They say their father's will stated the house should eventually be demolished after his death and they have accused Prime Minister Lee of wanting to preserve the...

Famously feuding “American Chopper” stars Paul Teutul Sr. and Jr. have reunited to build their first bike together in over a decade. Their rocky road to an on-air reconciliation is captured in a new “American Chopper” special airing Tuesday, June 9 on Discovery Channel at 9 p.m. In the two-hour telecast, they return to where it all started back in 2003: the original Orange County Choppers building in Newburgh, NY, which is being torn down. There, they reminisce, bicker and, ultimately, build a custom bike for ABC Supply Company. “I was pushing for this for a long time,” Paul Jr., 45, tells The Post. “My father wasn’t really interested for his own reasons, but nobody is getting any younger. It’s been over 10 years and I just thought I would like to build a bike with my father again, if we could. “We shared so much in the early days and made history with [‘American Chopper’] and we started in that building,” he says. “It made me think back to a time when my career was being formed through the...
