In what is perhaps the ultimate in first-world problems, King Charles is not expected to bestow an HRH honorific on Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids, but they will become prince and princess, it has been reported. The Sun reports that the new arrangements, which will formalize the names of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are expected to be confirmed over the coming weeks. According to a custom begun in 1917, the grandchildren of the king are given prince or princess titles. Great-grandchildren are not, but an exception is made for the grandchildren of the heir to the throne, which is why the Cambridge kids are known as Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It’s why students of the unwritten British convention have declared that Meghan was wrong when she said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey that her children were denied a title unfairly. However if they were not to be given the titles now that their grandfather is king, she would be proved quite right. And maybe, her supporters will say, this is what she meant all...

Prince Harry is likely to have felt 'absolutely furious' during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - and could 'want an apology from the royal family', according to an expert. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex only made one public appearance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, despite flying in from the US with their two children - Archie and Lilibet. However, the Sussexes did meet the Queen - though their request for a photograph of Her Majesty meeting their youngest child for the first time was allegedly rejected. Biographer Angela Levin, who spent a year with Harry, has now claimed the prince is likely to feel as if he is 'owed an apology' and was 'largely ignored' at the four-day celebration. She added that the Duke of Sussex is allegedly 'absolutely furious' about the situation. She initially tried to claim that Schillings, which is representing Harry in a claim against the Home Office, did not believe there had been a breach. But red-faced Mr Justice Swift raged: “Let me disabuse of that straight away. What you’re saying isn’t making anything better. However insiders have now claimed that the event was almost overshadowed by William's anger towards his brother, who had weeks before given the bombshell interview to the American media mogul.  Sources told The Times William had 'taken the view that he could only 'give so much' to Harry, with the Duchess of Cambridge playing peacemaker with the brothers. True Royalty TV co-founder Nick Bullen told Fox News the reconciliation between the two brothers would "be very difficult." "It is still very much a work in progress. A longtime confidante of Princess Diana doesn’t believe she would be at all happy with her son Prince Harry or his wife, Meghan Markle.  On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be returning to their duties as members of the royal family. The announcement came a little more than a year after Harry, 36, and Markle, 39, announced that they would be taking a "step back" as senior royals for a one-year review period.  Fashion designer Roberto Devorik, who was a close friend of Diana prior to her death in 1997 at age 36, believes the late princess would be "furious" with Harry over his fallout with the family and likely at odds with Markle for contributing to the divide. Speaking to Hola! Magazine, Devorik explains that Diana’s greatest wish was to see her children shape a "modern monarchy," which Harry can no longer do.  "I think Meghan is the boss... Harry is a boy who suffered a lot and believes that Meghan has the legacy of Diana. But he is very confused," Devorik...

Prince Harry was reportedly “furious” after he learned he and Megan Markle were not going to participate in the final royal engagement — the procession at the Commonwealth Day service. The claim stems from royal author Robert Lacey and his book Battle of Brothers, The Daily Express reported. “When Harry heard that he and Meghan were to be so graphically shunted aside on this final appearance, he was furious,” he wrote. “The subservience of a ‘spare’ – one of the basic reasons for this very sad parting of the ways – could not have been more strikingly illustrated.” As noted by Lacey, the traditional procession involves senior royals following the Queen through the Westminster Abbey. While Prince William and Kate Middleton were scheduled for the walk, Harry and Markle were allegedly told they would be quietly escorted to their seats alone by aides. According to Lacey, the decision made the status difference between each couple apparent to the public. Nevertheless, Lacey claimed that William allegedly changed the plans last-minute and skipped the procession. “He and Kate would be quite happy,...

It would take staggering naivety to believe that it was an accident. Earlier this week, the usually terribly careful Prince William and Kate Middleton provoked a minor diplomatic incident when an apparent attempt to congratulate Prince Harry on his birthday went awry.
'I don't know what the hell is going on,' Prince Harry allegedly said over the altercation. Prince Harry was reportedly furious over how Meghan Markle was treated by palace aide who is considered a close confidant and friend of Queen Elizabeth. According to The Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex grew angered after Angela Kelly, who serves as the longtime dresser of the queen, was either unable or unwilling to allow the duchess to gain access to the jewel vault. Ms. Markle had needed the tiara so that she could go through a hair trial in preparation for the big wedding, and the former Suits star had even flown in her hairdresser from Paris for the occasion. After she was denied access, the redheaded prince was allegedly so enraged that he called up his 94-year-old grandmother to complain about the treatment. “Harry had to intervene,” described Finding Freedom co-biographer Omid Scobie. “He called his grandmother and said, ‘I don’t know what the hell is going on. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife.’ And of course,...
Prince Harry couldn’t hide his frustration from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, about how his future bride Meghan Markle was being treated by palace aides. The claim is being made in the bombshell book “Finding Freedom,” written by royal reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. The family currently resides in Markle’s native California.
