As the new season of “Real Housewives” is in the middle of filming, there have been some social media clues that things may not be going so great, and it’s possible that there have been some disagreements or fights that have strained friendships. Bravo cameras have been filming the ladies for several weeks, taking a brief hiatus due to COVID-19. There has been a lot going on with Erika Jayne, specifically, whose storyline is expected to pick up where it left off in season 13. Erika is going through a pretty nasty divorce, and she’s facing some legal issues after her husband was accused of embezzlement, which has left her in the middle of a mess. At the end of January 2022, some fans noticed that Erika was unfollowed on Instagram by fellow housewife Garcelle Beauvais. A short while later, there was chatter that Sutton Stracke had also unfollowed “theprettymess,” according to Page Six,...
In the days leading up to the tragic death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Thursday afternoon, there was trouble brewing. After multiple complaints made to production, at least six fed up crew members had reportedly walked off set hours before actor and film producer Alec Baldwin was handed a prop gun. According to a Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office search warrant affidavit, he mistakenly believed it had no cartridges inside, and discharged it, striking 42-year-old Hutchins and 48-year-old director Joel Souza. Hutchins was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque where she died, while an injured Souza was released from the hospital on Friday morning. Sources have insisted the fatal accident was a result of failings from top to bottom, starting with the production’s low-budget and cost-cutting measures, which led the film to hire 24-year-old armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was identified in the affidavit as the armorer on set at the time of the shooting. A production source described her to The Daily Beast as “inexperienced and green.” They also placed blame on first assistant director, identified...
More On: aaron rodgers Brett Favre has very bad Aaron Rodgers feeling for Packers Aaron Rodgers savagely mocked Packers GM in texts with teammates Packers fans are turning on Aaron Rodgers Former teammate says there’s a ‘zero percent chance’ Aaron Rodgers retires As the Packers continue to work on persuading Aaron Rodgers to stay with the team, the organization lost one of their preferred targets in the 2021 NFL Draft to the Giants. The Athletic reported that Green Bay was “extremely high” on wide receiver Kadarius Toney and had their “fingers crossed” he would fall into their range in the first round. But the Giants and general manager Dave Gettleman spoiled that, selecting the Florida product at No. 20 overall after trading back. Packers GM Brian Gutekunst revealed Thursday night that he explored trading up in the first round, but ultimately stayed at No. 29 and drafted cornerback Eric Stokes out of Georgia. Green Bay wasn’t the only team with their eyes on Toney. The Jaguars were reportedly prepared to take Toney at No. 25, so the...
Hogwarts Legacy, the upcoming open-world Harry Potter video game set in the wizarding world of the 19th century, won’t be released until 2022 — but the game keeps getting mired in controversy. Last year, publisher Warner Bros. had to clarify that Harry Potter creator J.K. wasn’t directly involved in the making of the game following a string of transphobic comments from the author. And now, the political views of one of the game’s developers has caught the public eye, leading one major community to eschew promotional coverage of the title. The game’s latest controversy began when journalist Liam Roberston posted a Twitter thread highlighting that Hogwarts Legacy lead designer Troy Leavitt once kept a YouTube channel full of far-right content. Videos by Leavitt included a defense of men who were accused of sexual harassment, a defense of cultural appropriation, and discussions on whether or not “thought crimes” are a real thing. Some videos were also sympathetic of the Gamergate movement, which harasses women and marginalized groups in the video game industry under the guise of journalism ethics. The videos are...
The Atlanta Hawks might have some tension bubbling up after losing three in a row. Lloyd Pierce’s Atlanta Hawks were viewed by many as a team that could slide into the playoffs in 2021, as their core of Trae Young, John Collins and De’Andre Hunter could be enough to separate from the rest of the pack. Unfortunately, after a 4-1 start, Atlanta has lost three straight games, and Collins has had it up to here with Pierce’s style of offense. Sam Amick and Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reported that after Young managed just 7 points in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets, Collins went in on him during a film session, expressing displeasure with his role in the offense. Reported w/@sam_amick: Trae Young’s listless performance Wednesday night raised eyebrows. The message has been clear: washing or sanitising your hands frequently and thoroughly, and wearing a mask when required, are key to making a safe return to the office. Masks provide a physical block to the coronavirus, which is mainly airborne, explains Sally Bloomfield, an honorary professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. ‘When we breathe or talk or cough, we spray particles into the air,’ she says. ‘If someone has Covid-19, those virus particles can travel, and if someone else is near, they can become infected by breathing them in. Those particles can also settle on a nearby surface. If someone touches that surface and then their mouth, nose or eyes, they may become infected.’ Whether infection spreads, and if so, how far, is very much affected by the choices you make at the sink, says Professor Bloomfield. To simulate the way germs such as SARS-CoV-2 — the virus which causes Covid-19 — cling to skin, Libby Galvin (pictured) covered her hands in Glo Germ, a clear gel that glows blue-white under UV light Handwashing...
SAN ANTONIO – Neighbors at an apartment complex where two men were shot early Friday say they felt this type of trouble brewing long before it happened. Police: Neighbors shoot each other during dispute at NW Side apartment complex In fact, some say they have called police repeatedly to the Vista Meadows apartments in the 1100 block of Callaghan road. “For several months, there has been open gang presence. Weapons have been flashed,” said one man who asked not to be identified. “Every night you would see people walking around, but also during the day, openly flashing weapons.” San Antonio police say this time, two men actually fired weapons, shooting each other. Officers responded to the apartment complex shortly after 5:30 a.m.Callaghan road shooting. (KSAT)They found one man in his 20s inside his second floor unit who had been shot several times. The Yankees and J.A. Happ are headed for trouble. The southpaw’s contract situation is going to become an ugly issue for both parties in 2020. Before Sunday night’s win over the Red Sox the Yankees were most concerned with J.A. Happ’s inability to get anyone out. Now that he looks to be back on track, the organization could easily become more concerned with how many innings he pitches down the stretch. Happ has a vesting option in his contract that can be activated by making 10 starts this season or pitching 61 1/3 innings. Both totals have been prorated to fit the current 60-game schedule. If Happ hits either of those marks, his $17 million salary in 2021 with the Yankees becomes fully guaranteed. The veteran starter is already keenly aware of the difficulty he will face to satisfy his vesting options. The Yankees already skipped his turn in the rotation once this season in order to give Gerrit Cole an extra start on normal rest. Happ recently told reporters that one conversation on the subject between he and the...

LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 07: Mikel Arteta, Manager of Arsenal reacts during the Premier League match between Arsenal FC and West Ham United at Emirates Stadium on March 07, 2020 in London, United Kingdom. (Photo by Harriet Lander/Copa/Getty Images ) Mikel Arteta wants funds to strengthen his squad this summer, but Arsenal officials are sending indications he’ll need to sell stars to pay for any moves. Arsenal have shown signs of meaningful progress during Mikel Arteta’s relatively brief managerial reign, but to really kick on they need to strengthen their squad in the summer. Unfortunately for Arteta, the club’s board isn’t prepared to hand him any type of significant transfer war chest. Instead, Arteta has been forced to go on the offensive with his insistence that Arsenal need to hold on to their stars this summer. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Matteo Guendozui have all been linked to moves away from the North London club. It’s clear that the Gunners’ manager has no interest in letting any of his first-team stars go. Instead, he insists that Arsenal “cannot be a...
