The White House finally released on Tuesday morning a full list of delegation leaders for this week’s Summit of the Americas, which already kicked off in Los Angeles. It confirmed that no heads of state of the three Northern Triangle countries - Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador - would attend the conference, but Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro, nicknamed the ‘Trump of the Tropics,’ would be face-to-face with President Joe Biden for the first time since he took office. White House officials were peppered with questions throughout Monday on how the summit can have an impact if key leaders were sitting out. The Northern Triangle countries ‘will be represented at the summit and will fully participate in the summit,’ a senior White House official argued on a call late Monday previewing Vice President Kamala Harris’ role in the summit this week. ‘They are sending delegations.’ El Salvador will be represented by Foreign Affairs Minister Alexandra Hill, Guatemala’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mario Adolfo Búcaro Flores will attend, as will Honduras’ Foreign Affairs Minister Enrique Reina. Harris traveled to Honduras earlier this year...
A BRIDE-TO-BE has left the internet divided after sharing nine strict rules she expects all of her wedding guests to following. The anonymous woman, who is from the US, initially posted the controversial list on Facebook before it was shared to a Wedding Shaming group on Reddit. 2An anonymous bride-to-be has left the internet divided after sharing nine strict rules she expects all of her wedding guests to following. Pictured, stock imageCredit: Getty 2The list of rules (pictured) caused quite a stir onlineCredit: Reddit Firstly, the future bride notes how there are no kids allowed at the wedding ceremony. She then goes on to share a few reasonable rules - including that guests aren't allowed to bring people who weren't invited, while any guest who chooses to drink should arrange a "sober ride" back to the hotel. That seems fair enough to us! However, things get a little more controversial when the bride-to-be proceeds to say that anyone not in the bridal party is forbidden from touching her wedding dress, and that guests must wear black otherwise they won't...
Getty Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore II was ranked the best slot cornerback in the NFL. Cornerback Kenny Moore II is not one of the top 25 highest-paid players at his position. Through the first two weeks of offseason workouts, he’s reportedly not been participating in team workouts in the hopes of landing a new contract. It’s safe to say that analyst Anthony Treash of Pro Football Focus would argue that Moore has earned more money. On a list of the NFL’s best slot cornerbacks heading into 2022, Treash placed Moore at the very top of the rankings at No. 1. “There’s no denying his ability to see the game at a high level — his instincts and processing are vital traits for a slot corner, and he checks the box with flying colors,” wrote Treash. Four Republican candidates for Pennsylvania governor facing a jam-packed primary unveiled a list of demands for moderators before they would consider taking part in a "potential debate." The campaign managers for Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman; Lou Barletta, a former congressman and mayor of Hazelton; Bill McSwain, a former Philadelphia attorney; and Dave White, a businessman, said in a joint letter that they "agreed" any moderators in a debate need to be a registered Republicans who lived in the state, according to PoliticsPA. Acceptable moderators also are not allowed to have "endorsed or donated to" any of the candidates participating in the debate, used negative words in reference to any of the candidates onstage, or worked for an organization that has slandered the candidates. A wife has shared her husband's 'ridiculous' list of demands for his birthday - including refusing to do any chores, not taking care of their son, and skipping out on his portion of the rent - and said he expects her to celebrate for an entire month. According to Reddit user Change-Ad9635, her spouse said he wants to 'rightfully be pampered' for his upcoming 30th birthday. He wrote out a long list of his 'expectations' for his birthday month, which includes no cooking or cleaning, not being interrupted while playing his Xbox for 'hours on end,' getting to sleep in without being 'bothered' to drive their son to school, and more.  He said his friends and family have been celebrating his birthday for a month his whole life, and when she refused to follow his 'out of line' requests, he called her 'selfish' for not making his birthday month 'the happiest month of the year' for him. GOOGLE has revealed its Year In Search 2021 – a look back at the top searches over the past 12 months. It reveals a deep insight into the minds of Brits, who relentlessly asked about Squid Game, Matt Hancock and whether a Jaffa cake is a cake or a biscuit. 3Did you search for any of these terms?Credit: Google 3Jaffa cakes are, in fact, biscuit-sized cakesCredit: Google Google handles billions of web searches every day, many from humble Blighty. The biggest search trend of the year was the Euros – which saw England lose out to Italy on penalties for continental glory. Telly also dominated searches, with Squid Game topping out the list for TV, while sci-fi blockbuster Dune heading the movies roster. Brits also searched for banana bread recipes, nail art and sea shanty memes to help pass the time while the UK passed in and out of lockdowns. Matt Hancock was a huge search term, after The Sun's explosive exclusive revealed his secret affair with an aide. And unsurprisingly, Covid and lockdown themed searches were trickled through various...
Texas Republicans don't want students masked, don't want them reading, and remain apathetic about whether the electricity even stays on. This probably isn't going to help their efforts to get corporations to move to the state. Ah, yes. I think we'd all been wondering when Republicans would get back to the old standby of book-burning. We now have Virginia candidate for gubbiner Glenn Youngkin boasting of his willingness to ban books in the classroom—the book at the center of the ad's florid wailing turned out to be Nobel Prize for Literature winner Toni Morrison's Beloved, and that Youngkin's ad specifically did not mention this is the revelation that quickly turned him into a laughingstock. Texas Republican state Rep. Matt Krause is doing him several hundred times better with a list of roughly 850 books he intends to "investigate" whether Texas school libraries might be harboring. That report comes from The Texas Tribune, which reports that Krause has used his position as chair of the House Committee on General Investigating to dispatch a letter asking school districts to report whether they have any...
REVEALING the list of unacceptable lunch box fillers that her kid brought home from school, one mum has asked for meal advice online, but the guidelines have annoyed many parents. Although some embrace the school's decision to only allow healthy snacks, other mums and dads have said that it is up to them what their child eats. 2The school kids are not allowed any pastry, even the savoury kindCredit: Getty - Contributor Posting in the popular Facebook group All Packed Up - Kids Packed Lunch Ideas and Sharing UK - the mum shared the "new healthy policy list" for her son's school. The mum said: "I'd like to get some ideas together that I can have on a list for me to look at and out lunches together quickly. Any ideas would be great. Thank you!" The letter read: "Dear Parent/Carer. Please remember that in line with our healthy living policy, children are not allowed to bring the following into school, to eat either at break time or lunchtime." 40 Strict Rules the ‘Real Housewives’ Cast Members Have to Follow That You Probs Never Knew About 10 Common Credit Card Mistakes You’re Making and How To Stop There is no perfect way to craft a list of the NBA's 75 Greatest Players, but here we try. In an attempt to discover a formula that might generate an unbiased ranking of unassailable players, I have combed through data again and again during the offseason. Here we are on the dawn of the NBA's three-day announcement of its top 75 players in the history of the sport, and I am no closer to crafting the perfect list than any media, current or former player, coach, general manager or executive on the official panel. I did come up with a pair of data-driven lists that come awfully close. Here is how I got there. Looking at the NBA's relatively non-controversial list of 50 Greatest Players from 1996, it included: Every MVP but Bob McAdoo Every nine-time All-Star but Dominique Wilkins Every six-time All-NBA selection but Wilkins Every three-time top-five MVP...

BOSTON (CBS) — The Patriots were already awaiting word on Trent Brown’s calf injury, which the starting right tackle suffered in the team’s Week 1 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. You can add another injury concern to the mix. Patriots linebacker and team captain Dont’a Hightower was seen limping off the field late in the fourth quarter, and the veteran did not return. Hightower was shaken up on a run play by Malcolm Brown as the Dolphins killed the clock at the end of their 17-16 win in Foxboro. As you can see in a video tweeted out by MassLive’s Chris Mason, Hightower hopped around and then avoided putting pressure on his left leg after trying to get into the giant pile of bodies that collected around Brown. Donta Hightower came up limping late in the 4th quarter and didnt return to the game. Thats not what youre looking for. pic.twitter.com/6pmqIwWYZp — Chris Mason (@ByChrisMason) September 13, 2021 Losing Hightower would not be ideal for the Patriots, since he’s the heartbeat in the middle of the defense....
The U.S. was taken off the European Union’s safe travel list on Monday, with the international body recommending its 27 nations to reenact restrictions on American tourists. Rising coronavirus cases in the U.S. promoted the European Council to remove the country from its safe list for nonessential travel. The decision reverses the one it made in June to lift restrictions on U.S. travelers. “Nonessential travel to the EU from countries or entities not listed (on the safe list) … is subject to temporary travel restriction,” the council said in the statement. “This is without prejudice to the possibility for member states to lift the temporary restriction on nonessential travel to the EU for fully vaccinated travelers.” The removal only recommends EU members change their policies towards the U.S., but does not mandate it. Israel, Kosovo, Lebanon, Montenegro and North Macedonia were also removed from the list, which is updated every two weeks, the Associated Press reported. The threshold to stay on the list requires countries to have no more than 75 new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents over the last...
The Houston Texans released their unofficial depth chart on Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, and Deshaun Watson was not-so-shockingly listed as the fourth-string quarterback.  First-year coach David Culley said Tuesday that Watson was "unlikely" to travel with the team for Saturday’s game and added "no comment" when asked if he would make any preseason appearances.  TEXANS’ DAVID CULLEY SAYS ‘NO COMMENT’ ON DESHAUN WATSON PRESEASON APPEARANCES AS QUARTERBACK RETURNS TO CAMP  If the depth chart, which appeared to be last updated on Tuesday, is any indication of what’s to come, Watson might not see any preseason snaps.  According to ESPN, Tyrod Taylor is listed as the starter followed by Jeff Driskel, Davis Mills, and then Watson.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM Video from Thursday morning’s practice session appeared to show a frustrated Watson, who turned to reporters and said, "Why are you all always filming me every day? For some years now, we have been very used to listening to the most knowledgeable of the digital world that security is very important in order to prevent attacks, data theft or Internet spoofing. For that, and increasingly, it is necessary that the passwords that we use every day in the Different services must be strong, confidential and above all secure. But it seems that there are many people in the world who still do not give importance to internet security and tend to neglect the level of security of their passwords on a daily basis. It is not by chance to hear from someone close or read on the news that Your identity has been spoofed, or money has been stolen from your card. This means that your passwords were not entirely secure. We have often heard the recommendations of experts regarding the level of security that our credentials must have to enter any website that requires identification. THE boss of Ryanair has slammed the government's decision to move Portugal from the green list to the amber list. Yesterday, the holiday destination was removed from the green list after being added just three weeks ago, with the new rules enforced by June 8. 5The boss of Ryanair has slammed the government decision to remove Portugal from the green listCredit: Reuters This means there are no holiday destinations in Europe now open to Brits without a UK quarantine, apart from Gibraltar. Portugal was removed due to fears of a new "Nepal mutation" of the Indian variant detected in the holiday hotspot, which is feared could threaten the UK's vaccine success. However, Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary said the decision wasn't based on "any science" and that the government were "making it up as they go along". He told BBC Breakfast: "What upset us and most of the industry was that this decision to move Portugal from green to amber isn't based on any science or public...
A WOMAN has detailed the very demanding job description she received after applying for a nanny role - and people labelled the bizarre expectations "insane" and even "psychotic". American actress Hollis Jane Andrews shared photos of the job description on Twitter and explained that she interviewed for the "Magical Nanny/Housekeeper' position in 2013 - but instantly turned the job down upon reading the daily duties. 7American actress Hollis Jane Andrews shared photos of the job description on Twitter after applying for the job in 2013Credit: hollis_jane/Instagram What's more, the job was only paying $13 (£9.21) an hour and the parents - who practised Scientology - required the full care of their two sons. The lengthy two-page list of demands required the nanny to stick to a very strict schedule with the day broken up into 15 minutes sections. The nanny was also required to make sure there was NO noise in the house and never let the kids stop laughing - because "if they're not laughing, they're not happy." It is also the nanny's responsibility to teach the kids to swim,...
Texas is the latest U.S. state to ban "vaccine passport" requirements. Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order Tuesday prohibiting state and local governments and agencies from implementing such requirement. The order prohibits the state from refusing service to individuals based on their vaccination status, as well as any organization receiving public funds from requiring consumers to provide documentation of vaccine status in order to receive any service or enter any place, according to the order. Abbott also released a one-minute PSA video stating that Texas will surpass more than 13 million COVID-19 vaccine doses this week “to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, reduce hospitalizations and reduce fatalities. “Every day, Texans are returning to normal life,” he said. “But, as I have said all along, these vaccines are always voluntary and never forced. Government should not require any Texan to show proof of vaccination and reveal private health information just to go about their daily lives. We will continue to vaccinate more Texans and protect public health – and we will do so without treading on Texans' personal freedoms."...
Strawberries, spinach, and greens topped this year's Dirty Dozen list. Ryan Herron/Getty Images The Environmental Working Group comes up with a list of pesticide-containing produce every year. Strawberries, spinach, kale, and collard and mustard greens had the highest levels of pesticides. Avocados, sweet corn, and pineapple were the closest to toxin-free. Visit Insider's homepage for more stories. Every year, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) comes up with a list of fruits and vegetables that contain the highest levels of pesticides deemed the "Dirty Dozen." Strawberries and leafy greens have once again topped the list of the dirtiest produce, and that's after washing — the agency prepares each food as a consumer would before testing it for pesticide residue. Nearly 70 percent of non-organic produce sold in the US contains traces of potentially harmful pesticides, according to the 2021 Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce. However, Insider previously reported that the most commonly detected pesticides on the list occur at levels too low to affect human health. Still, significant levels of pesticide exposure could pose harm to developing brains....
During the Wednesday broadcast of “America’s Newsroom” on Fox News Channel, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) blasted the Democrats’ proposed $1.9 trillion COVID relief package. Kennedy noted the package that is supposed to provide assistance during the coronavirus pandemic is “chock full of spending porn.” He called the bill a “neosocialist wish list” because it includes money for transit projects, illegal immigrants and more having nothing to do with the virus. “The profligacy is mind-numbing. The motto of the Biden administration seems to be ‘We can’t spend too much.’ Any fair-minded person knows that is a very superficial, desultory, almost infantile approach — either that or the people advising president Biden have an opium habit,” Kennedy stated. “Any fool can spend money. The objective is not to spend money. It is not how much you spend. It’s what you spend it on. Ninety-five percent of President Biden’s bill is not going to even be spent until 2022 and beyond. This isn’t a coronavirus bill. This is a left of Lenin, neosocialist wish list. I mean, it just is. It is chock...
FOUR common Covid symptoms must be added to the official list after millions of cases missed, experts have warned. Sore throat, headache, fatigue and diarrhoea should be considered as main virus symptoms - on top of the classic persistent cough, fever and loss of smell or taste. ???? Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates 3A testing site in Manchester as a woman takes a swab testCredit: Getty Images - Getty Scientists think this would help pick up about a third more cases of the bug, data gathered from the ZOE Covid Symptom Study app. They currently believe millions of infections were delayed in being found or missed entirely as people wouldn’t get a test with these four symptoms. PCR swab tests only allow for people to book in to see if they have the virus if they have the three NHS listed symptoms. But this form of testing is the most reliable. Researchers say testing Brits with the three ‘classic’ symptoms would have spotted 69 per cent of symptomatic cases. But they think testing people...
Parler Olivier Douliery/Getty Images House Democrats are demanding that Parler, the social-media company that billed itself as a competitor to Twitter, turn over a list of its investors and creditors, citing a report that former President Donald Trump was offered a stake in the company. “These negotiations reportedly occurred while President Trump was still in office,” House Oversight Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) wrote in a Monday letter to the company’s chief operating officer, Jeffrey Wernick. Maloney said she wanted the company to turn over a “shareholder registered” listing all of its stakeholders, including “individuals and entities with direct or indirect ownership interests,” as well as any entity to whom Parler owes $10,000 or more, “including the type of debt funding, amount owed, maturity, and applicable interest rate.” The letter comes after Parler’s board ousted former CEO John Matze last week, a move that came after the platform’s January removal from App stores hosted by Apple and Google. The tech giants said they were removing Parler until it developed a policy for moderating user content. Amazon’s cloud services division, which...
In testimony before the House this week, Capitol Police and D.C. National Guard officials acknowledged that by Jan. 4 they understood that “… the January 6th event would not be like any of the previous protests held in 2020. We knew that militia groups and white supremacist organizations would be attending. We also knew that some of these participants were intending to bring firearms and other weapons to the event. We knew that there was a strong potential for violence and that Congress was the target.” On that same day, former acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller issued a memo to the secretary of the Army placing some extremely unusual limits on National Guard forces for that event. It’s not a to-do list. It’s a list of thou shalt nots. A long list. A list that says guard forces can’t arrest any of the pro-Trump protesters, or search them, or even touch them. And that’s just for starters. The full memo shows that the D.C. Guard did receive a request from D.C. government for guard presence during the Jan. 6 event. Miller responds promptly to...
DuckDuckGo, the most interesting search engine of the group of alternatives to the greats in the sector, has achieved a new milestone by breaking this week for the first time in its history the barrier of 100 million daily searches. Although it is still very far from the data of the sector giant, a Google that dominates this market with a firm hand with market shares that exceed 70% in almost all world regions and to which not even the union of other two giants such as Microsoft and Yahoo! have been able to stop, DuckDuckGo is a sample of a success story and has not stopped growing in recent years, 62% in 2020. DuckDuckGo attributes its growth to users seeking more privacy while using Internet services. And it is that the violations in this matter have been so many, with the advertising industry crossing all the red lines as major offenders of this right of the digital age and the spy agencies doing their thing with mass surveillance programs, that a part of Users are looking for more...
Spain will keep a registry of people who refuse to have a vaccination for the Chinese coronavirus, and will share the data with other European Union member-states. Health Minister Salvador Illa announced the plans on Monday, saying that while the vaccine would not be mandatory and there would be no repercussions for refusing the injection, the government would be tracking those who declined to have it. “What will be done is a register, which will be shared with our European partners… of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it,” Mr Illa said during an interview with La Sexta television channel on Monday, according to the BBC. The minister said that the register was to avoid confusion in record-keeping, of why some people are vaccinated and others not, saying: “People who are offered a therapy that they refuse for any reason, it will be noted in the register… [so] that there is no error in the system, not to have given this person the possibility of being vaccinated.” He added that the data would not be shared...

Georgia Republican Barry Loudermilk is one of 19 who signed on a suit seeking to throw out the election in their own states. To be absolutely clear, the lawsuit filed by Texas isn’t about arbitrating some election dispute. It doesn’t ask for a clarification on a rule, guidance on the allocation of electors, or recanvassing of some vote. Instead it seeks direct permission from the Supreme Court to disenfranchise tens of millions of Americans in specific states, and reverse the outcome overall, without providing evidence of a single mistallied vote. There’s little doubt that from the moment it was filed, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had no expectation of winning. None of the 17 other state attorney generals who signed onto the suit believe it will win. None of the Republican representatives who scrawled their names on the farce expect it to win. None of them actually believe the Supreme Court of the United States will stand up and say, “You know, we’re also sick of this democracy thing. From now on, single party authoritarian rule!” Republicans are now so enamored of this...

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey were unable to think of any liberal person or entity that has been censored by either platform during Wednesday’s Senate hearing on big tech censorship. Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee asked Zuckerberg and Dorsey to name “one high-profile person or entity from a liberal ideology” that was barred off either platform. However, neither CEO was able to think of someone on the spot. “I can get you a list of some more of this but there are certainly many examples that your Democratic colleagues object to when … a fact-checker might label something as false if they disagree with it, or, um,” Zuckerberg said before Lee cut him off.
