Ghislaine Maxwell has been fired by her lawyers for failing to pay her bills. Court documents filed in the US Virgin Islands, and obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, show that lawyers representing the convicted sex-trafficker in her bid to squeeze money out of Jeffrey Epstein's estate have withdrawn their counsel. The firm Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, claimed in the documents that 'despite repeated requests,' Maxwell has failed to pay them.  It is the second blow to the fallen socialite's ailing fortunes in recent weeks.  Currently serving out a 20-year sentence in a low security prison in Tallahassee, Florida, Maxwell is also being sued by her criminal defense team for failing to pay legal fees of more than $850,000. The lawyers representing Ghislaine Maxwell in her bid to squeeze money out of Jeffrey Epstein's estate have fired the convicted sex trafficker Maxwell argued that during her relationship with Epstein he 'promised that he would support her financially.' Her suit states that he 'made these promises…repeatedly, both in writing and conversation'  The firm, Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, claimed in documents that...
Two executors of Jeffrey Epstein's estate have been accused of moving some of the late billionaire pedophile's wealth into a trust that could benefit them to the tune of at least $13 million. Darren Indyke, Epstein's personal attorney, and Richard Kahn, the estate's in-house accountant have long been accused of mismanaging his wealth to avoid paying out his victims.  The two have been accused of transferring millions to the Butterfly Trust, which Epstein started in 2013, authorities in the US Virgin Islands said in a legal filing Friday, the New York Times reported. Epstein's notorious Little Saint James Island - which he owned from 1998 until his 2019 death - is under the Virgin Islands' jurisdiction.  The money transfer took place nearly a year after Epstein committed suicide in his Manhattan prison cell.  'The government discovered that substantial funds kept secret from the government were transferred for the benefit of the coexecutors in an apparent effort to enrich themselves and shelter these assets from recovery,'  the filing read.  Two executors of Jeffrey Epstein's estate have been accused of moving some of...
Three years after he killed himself in prison while awaiting trial, less than a quarter of Jeffrey Epstein's estate remains, DailyMail.com can reveal. When the disgraced financier was found hanging in his cell in New York's Metropolitan Correction Center in 2019, his estate was valued at a staggering $636million. Today, accounts filed with the Virgin Island Superior Court and obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, show that just $154million of that vast wealth remains. In December 2021 the estate listed among its assets, $45,441,290.72 'cash in hand.'  And by the following March that sum had dwindled to $33,527,414,60. The value of Epstein's art and collectibles remains unchanged at $337,154 as does his $4,055 collection of watches. Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein's vast fortune – once estimated to be worth more than a billion dollars – has dwindled in value by more than 75 per cent since his death in 2019  Epstein was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges when he hanged himself in his cell in August 2019. Prince Andrew with Virginia Giuffre and Ghislain Maxwell.Source: Attained through court documents. Prince Andrew of Britain and the woman who sued him for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was underage formally asked a New York federal judge Tuesday to dismiss the lawsuit given their agreement to settle the case out of court. The stipulation to dismiss Virginia Giuffre's case was expected after the disclosure by her lawyer on Feb. 15 that Andrew had agreed to pay Giuffre an undisclosed sum of money to withdraw her civil suit. Giuffre has claimed Andrew assaulted her on several occasions as a girl years ago, while she was under the control of sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein and his convicted procurer, Ghislaine Maxwell, both of whom were friends with the prince. The court filing came as multiple British media outlets reported that Andrew had paid Giuffre the agreed-upon amount. Manhattan U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan is expected to grant the joint request to toss the case. That request came as a hearing in the same court was to begin Tuesday related to...
GHISLAINE Maxwell will be sentenced in June after being found guilty of sex trafficking underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein. Shamed Brit socialite Maxwell, 60, is now facing spending the rest of her life in prison after being convicted of five out of six counts of sex trafficking for vile Epstein’s paedophile ring. 2Ghislaine will be sentenced on June 28Credit: Getty - Contributor Maxwell helped entice vulnerable teenagers to Epstein's various properties for him to sexually abuse between 1994 and 2004. On the final day of the trial in December, Assistant US Attorney Alison Moe summed up the prosecution case against Maxwell, who she said was a "grown woman who preyed on vulnerable kids”. The prosecutor said Maxwell was a “sophisticated predator who knew exactly what she was doing” who “ran the same playbook again and again and again”. “She manipulated her victims and groomed them. She caused deep and lasting harm to young girls,” Moe said. As the verdict was handed down by a jury of six women and six men, Maxwell - branded "dangerous" by the prosecution - showed little emotion. She will now...

"We have already started the appeal tonight and we believe that she will ultimately be vindicated." They left court looking glum and would not speak to waiting media. Maxwell's sister Isabel and brother Kevin attended the court while her brother Ian slammed the prosecution's case and treatment of his sister while she was in custody. Jeffrey Epstein's former housekeeper revealed the 'imperious' nature of Ghislaine Maxwell while he was employed under the couple. Juan Alessi, 72, had revealed Maxwell's demanding high-handed behavior as well as he treatment of staff when he had worked for Epstein at his Palm Beach Mansion between 1990 and 2002.  Alessi, a maintenance worker and house manager, said that Maxwell had conducted herself as the 'lady of the house' and even handed out a 58-page manual with rules for staff on everything from how to address her and Epstein as well as how to attend to them and their guests. 'Checklists will assist you in making sure every task has been completed and not even the smallest detail has been overlooked,' the book read. Staffers also had to run the house 'like a five-star hotel' which included washing Epstein's car, stuffing it with $100 bills, and avoiding eye contact with him as Maxwell claimed he detested it. Maxwell also forbade the staff from fraternizing with their guests and told them to 'see nothing, hear nothing say nothing' unless they had been...
Prince Andrew has fired back at a woman's 'frivolous' sex-assault lawsuit claiming she's just out for a 'payday' in a shock motion he filed to dismiss the claims on Friday, which also accused her of helping Ghislaine Maxwell in her sex trafficking ring with Jeffrey Epstein. Virginia Giuffre, 38, is being slammed by the prince for her supposed false accusations that the Duke of York sexually abused her three times back in 2001 when she was just 17 years old - more than two decades ago.  In court documents filed in US District Court in Manhattan today - which was the court-imposed deadline for the prince to respond to Giuffre's suit - Andrew, 61, urged a US judge to dismiss her lawsuit, calling the claims 'baseless' in an effort to 'achieve another payday'.  Prince Andrew (left) has fired back at a Virginia Giuffre's (right) 'frivolous' sex-assault lawsuit claiming she's just out for a 'payday' in a shock motion he filed to dismiss the claims on Friday. A Ponzi schemer who says he was conned out of $100 million by Jeffrey Epstein claims the dead pedophile moved in intelligence circles and was introduced to Ghislaine Maxwell's father Robert by a British arms dealer.  The claims made by Steven Hoffenberg, who is a former business partner of Epstein, were published by Rolling Stone on Thursday.   Hoffenberg served 18 years in prison after pleading guilty back in 1995 for bilking investors out of more than a $450 million when he was running Towers Financial. Epstein worked for Hoffenberg at Towers Financial as a paid consultant in the 1980s.     He made the claims about Epstein in an interview with British journalist Vicky Ward back in 2002 while he was serving that prison sentence in Massachusetts. Ponzi schemer Steven Hoffenberg claimed pedophile Jeffrey Epstein moved in intelligence circles starting in the 1980s and that he was introduced to Ghislaine Maxwell's father by a British arms dealer Among the allegations that he made was that Epstein ran in intelligence circles and that one of his mentors was a British defense contractor named...

A woman accused of helping Ghislaine Maxwell recruit 'sex slaves' for Jeffrey Epstein is now in a squabble with neighbors at the ritzy Manhattan condo where she lives with her NASCAR-driver husband. Sarah Kellen, 41, and her husband Brian Vickers, 37, are the subject of ire among neighbors at the SoHo condo building on Greene Street, where Vickers leads the condo board, the New York Post reported on Saturday. Neighbors told the Post they are fed up with the couple's constant noisy renovations in their $10 million penthouse, as well as massive fee assessments imposed by Vickers and the other board members. Kellen met Epstein when she was 18, and spent around a decade working as his personal assistant. She was named in court documents a 'potential co-conspirator' in the late financier's sex trafficking plots, but has always insisted vehemently that she was a victim of his sick abuse, and not a participant.  Sarah Kellen, 41, and her husband Brian Vickers, 37, (together above) are the subject of ire among neighbors at the SoHo condo building on Greene Street ...
Attorney General William Barr personally questioned the last inmate to share a cell with Jeffrey Epstein before the multimillionaire sex offender died by suicide, a source told the New York Daily News. Epstein was found hanging from cloth tied to a bed frame early on Aug. 10, 2019, rocking the highest levels of the Justice Department. Investigators' attention turned to Efrain 'Stone' Reyes, who had been transferred out of a cell he shared with Epstein the day before the suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in lower Manhattan. Reyes' niece and other sources previously told the Daily News that Reyes was moved to the privately run Queens Detention Center, which holds cooperating witnesses. Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyer has hit out at alleged victim Annie Farmer and accused her of being motivated by money, days after she was denied bail for a second time. The legal team working for Jeffrey Epstein's alleged madam slammed Farmer in new court filings in a civil suit against Maxwell and Epstein's estate, ABC News reports.  Maxwell's attorneys have alleged that accepting a confidential settlement in October from Epstein Victims' Compensation Program indicated Farmer has a financial motivation to make 'false assertions' about Maxwell.    Maxwell's lawyer Laura Menninger wrote in a letter to the court earlier this week: 'The fact that [Farmer] seeks money from the estate and from Ms. Maxwell, in the millions of dollars, at the same time she is a government witness in an upcoming criminal trial on the same topic is reason enough to suspect that her newly asserted memories of abuse - without corroboration - are not based on the truth or a desire for 'justice' so much as her desire for cash. 'The motive for fabrication could not be clearer.' It comes after Farmer filed...
Virginia Roberts maintains she had sex with the Duke of York on three occasions: in 2001 in London, in New York and on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Little St James. He emphatically denies her claims and says he cannot even recall meeting her, despite a picture of them together at Ghislaine Maxwell’s London house — allegedly taken on March 10 of that year. As the Mail concludes its ground-breaking forensic investigation into their claims and counter-claims, each party is left with further difficult questions to answer. Virginia Roberts claims in her memoir that she had three sexual encounters with Prince Andrew, and that she was trafficked by Jeffery Epstein ANDREW 1. What happened during your still unexplained ‘private time’ in New York in Easter Week 2001? 3. How much taxpayers’ money did you ‘save’ by staying at Epstein’s mansion in New York? 4. The FBI wanted to arrest Jeffrey Epstein at a beauty pageant that he was judging in 2007, but the U.S. Attorney was out of town and wasn't ready to have him indicted, according to a report released this week by the Department of Justice.  Alex Acosta, then the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida and later the secretary of Trump's Labor Department, was 'out of town at a conference' so the assistant U.S. Attorney who was itching to indict Epstein and have him arrested was told 'no.'  The FBI's supervisory special agent was 'extremely upset' about the missed opportunity, Fox News reported. In May 2007, Marie Villafaña, who was the lead prosecutor on the case, filed a prosecution memo stating she wanted Epstein to face up to 210 months, or 17 and a half years, in prison for charges that he sexually abused young girls and women.  Jeffrey Epstein was judging a beauty pageant in the Virgin Islands in 2007 when the FBI wanted him arrested, according to a Justice Department report on the 2008 plea deal that...
Ghislaine Maxwell is under investigation by French authorities over allegations that she was involved in convicted-paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's offending in the country. Investigators are looking into claims that Epstein - who had a £7million Paris apartment - raped and abused minors in the French capital.  It has now been revealed that Maxwell is also being probed by prosecutors who 'received information from US investigators'. A source told The Mirror: 'Both Epstein and Maxwell have a long history and many connections to France. 'As detectives dug further into allegations against him and after receiving information from US investigators, they launched their own probe into Maxwell. It is ongoing.' Maxwell, who was accused of being  Epstein's 'madam,' has French, British and American citizenship and was born in a well-off area on the fringes of Paris. A Customs and Border Protection officer said to be a believer in the QAnon conspiracy theory allegedly threatened a superior by claiming he would bring ‘Donald Trump and the US military’ to get him for his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Alberto Almeida was indicted by federal prosecutors in New Jersey last week for sending threatening text messages and social media posts to Edward Fox, CBP’s assistant port director for Newark, The Daily Beast reported. Almeida is alleged to have sent several menacing messages to Fox over a nine-month period. The threats accused Fox of all sorts of bizarre crimes that are in line with the far-right conspiracy theory that has often been repeated online by supporters of President Trump and other Republican politicians. Ghislaine Maxwell has lost her bid to be transferred out of solitary confinement and into general population as she awaits trial inside a 'hell-hole' Brooklyn prison.  On Tuesday, Judge Alison J. Nathan denied the request from Jeffrey Epstein's alleged madam after her lawyers argued that she is unable to properly prepare for trial due to being monitored 24/7.   The judge also rejected a request by Maxwell's lawyers for prosecutors to disclose the identities of three alleged victims who claim to have been sexually abused by Epstein and Maxwell when they were underage.  Judge Nathan called the disclosure of the identities 'premature' as the case isn't scheduled to go to trial until next year.     Judge Alison J. A 22-year-old woman has reportedly said she was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein in 2015 — years after he was first arrested for sex trafficking — and warned there may be a “wave” of younger victims who have yet to come forward. The victim, identified by the Daily Mail as “Marie,” told the newspaper she was raped and sexually abused by the multi-millionaire financier during two visits to his sprawling Manhattan townhouse in the summer of 2015. “I believe he was abusing young girls right up until the day he was arrested,” she told the newspaper. “There are likely to be multiple young victims out there who are still in their teens, perhaps still living with their parents and too ashamed and confused to speak out,” she added. He knew Jeffrey Epstein for more than three decades and had a unique insight into how the disgraced financier made his billions.  Now, American investigative journalist Edward Jay Epstein – no relation – unpicks the mystery of how the late sex offender embarked on his astonishing path to riches… High life: But did the truth about Jeffrey Epstein’s wealth die with him? Ghislaine Maxwell may be the last person alive who knows the answers to one of the decade’s great mysteries: how did Jeffrey Epstein amass his fortune and where is it now? For one of the theories is that Maxwell’s father Robert bankrolled him. When Epstein died a year ago, his visible assets added up to an extraordinary £467 million. But that was ‘only the tip of the iceberg’, according to the head of a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund who I first met at Epstein’s mansion in New York. The question this financier could not answer was how Epstein, who he had never known to actually conclude a successful business deal, had accumulated such a tremendous fortune. Nor could any of...

Accused Jeffrey Epstein procuress Ghislaine Maxwell will use her secret stockpile of the late pedophile’s sex tapes as an insurance policy to save herself from federal charges, her friend said in a new report. The former socialite, who was arrested in New Hampshire last week, was moved Monday to a Brooklyn lockup to await trial on four counts of sex trafficking minors and two counts of perjury for allegedly acting as Epstein’s fixer. Christopher Mason, a TV host and journalist who has known Maxwell since the 1980s, has said he was told that Epstein rigged his multiple homes with cameras and kept surveillance tapes of everyone and everything that went on in them. Mason said she has access to the potentially compromising tapes. And now, Maxwell’s former pal told the Daily Mail that she will use those recordings as a way to beat the rap. “Ghislaine has always been as cunning as they come. She wasn’t going to be with Epstein all those years and not have some insurance,” the ex-friend told the news outlet. “The secret stash of sex...

In a statement to Raw Story on Monday, Fox News said that it regretted “mistakenly” excluding Trump from the photo. “On Sunday, July 5, a report on Ghislaine Maxwell during FOX News Channel’s America’s News HQ mistakenly eliminated President Donald Trump from a photo alongside then Melania Knauss, Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell,” the statement said. “We regret the error.” Watch the original video report below.
Fox News apologized for cropping President Trump out of a photograph showing late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. The edited photo aired on America’s News Headquarters on Sunday while anchor Leland Vittert reported on Maxwell's arrest last week. Vittert brought on Jordan Merson, an attorney for several of Epstein’s sexual assault accusers, when the cropped photo appeared on-screen. In the photo, which was taken at Mar-a-Lago in 2000, Trump is standing next to his future wife, Melania Knauss, who is next to Epstein. Epstein has his arm wrapped around Maxwell's waist, and she is looking at him. In the version that appeared on Fox News, Trump was cut out of the photo, as was part of Melania Trump's body. “On Sunday, July 5, a report on Ghislaine Maxwell during FOX News Channel’s America’s News HQ mistakenly eliminated President Donald Trump from a photo alongside then Melania Knauss, Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. We regret the error," a Fox News spokesperson told the Washington Examiner. Screen shot Maxwell, a 58-year-old British socialite, was...
Igor Derysh July 6, 2020 3:34PM (UTC) Fox News came under fire after it bizarrely cropped President Donald Trump out of a photo of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and indicted alleged co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell but left first lady Melania Trump in the image. The network showed photos of Epstein and Maxwell while covering the latter's recent arrest, including a photo taken in 2000 of the pair with Trump and Melania. The president was inexplicably cropped out of the photo. : According to Getty Images, the photo was taken at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla. Maxwell, accused of recruiting and grooming teenage victims for Epstein to abuse, was indicted last week, nearly a year after Epstein committed suicide at a New York jail while facing child sex trafficking charges. She has denied the allegations. Epstein and Maxwell frequently socialized with prominent figures in New York and elsewhere, including Trump. : "I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy," Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as...
Fox News edited President Donald Trump out of a well-known photo of him an accused sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. The photo featured Trump, his then-girlfriend, Melania Krause, and Epstein and his confidante Ghislane Maxwell. The photo was used during a segment discussing the pending charges against Maxwell. READ MORE: Fox News reporter retreats inside car after shoving BLM protester Maxwell’s charges include conspiracy to entice minors to travel and engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and two counts of perjury. Epstein and Maxwell were in the same social circles as Trump, who called Epstein a “fun” and “terrific guy.” The photo was taken at Mar-a-Lago. In a 2002, New York Magazine interview, Trump said, “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.” Prosecutors alleged that Epstein ran a trafficking enterprise in which he paid hundreds of...
Fox News apparently cropped President Donald Trump out of a photograph with Jeffrey Epstein on Sunday, during the network’s coverage of the arrest of Ghislane Maxwell. The edited photo aired on America’s News Headquarters while anchor Leland Vittert reported on Maxwell’s arrest and the charges against her in connection with Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex crimes. Vittert interviewed Jordan Merson, an attorney for several of Epstein’s accusers, and the network aired this photo of Maxwell and Epstein (an part of First Lady Melania Trump). That photo was partially cropped when it aired on Fox. Here’s the full version: Davidoff Studios/Getty Images As you can see, the full version shows Maxwell and Epstein standing next to President Donald Trump and then Melania Knauss at Mar-a-Lago. The photo was taken in 2000, when the future president and first lady were dating. Curiously, Fox decided to keep Melania in their edited photo even after cropping Trump out, leaving plenty of room on-screen next to Merson. While its not clear Trump saw this segment, the president blasted Fox News on Sunday for their...
Fox News cropped out President Donald Trump from a picture with Jeffrey Epstein for its Sunday news segment. Hide The picture, which has been circulated widely beforehand, shows the convicted sex offender with Trump, Melania Trump, and Ghislaine Maxwell, who allegedly helped Epstein groom teenage victims. The segment was about the FBI’s recent arrest of Maxwell, who has been charged with sex trafficking children. Hide The original photo is on Getty images and can easily be found online. The picture was taken at Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago club in February 2000, two years before Trump infamously called Epstein a “terrific guy” who likes “beautiful women…on the younger side” during a New Yorker interview. The photo was also taken well after Epstein allegedly raped numerous girls or “lent” them to powerful men in the 1990s. People began to point out the edit on Twitter. The photo still shows Melania Trump but crops out the president. “No biggie,” Twitter user @TeaPainUSA wrote about the media company editing the picture. “Fox News has been editin’ reality out of the...

Maxwell was a close friend of deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and Fox aired a photo of Maxwell that should look familiar to anyone who followed reports of Epstein’s abuse of teenage girls. But there was one thing missing from the image that Fox put on screen: President Donald Trump. The original photo, which is available online from Getty Images, shows Donald Trump, his then-girlfriend Melania (now the First Lady), Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislane Maxwell. The photo was taken at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida on February 12, 2000. Twitter users were the first to spot the strange edit by Fox News. The...
One of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged victims has accused the New York Academy of Art of “victim blaming,” after the institution released a report this week saying that her sister falsely accused them of leading the two women into the clutches of the late sex predator. The NYAA and its legal team on Tuesday ripped Maria Farmer, who has accused academy trustee Eileen Guggenheim of forcing her to sell a painting — called “The Rape” — to Epstein and insisting that she got a trip to the billionaire perv’s so-called “Zorro Ranch” in New Mexico in 1995. Maria Farmer claimed in recent media reports that during the ranch trip, she and other students were allegedly forced by Epstein to play games with his stash of sex toys. She said she eventually wound up hanging out with Epstein in Ohio and at his New York mansion, where she also worked for him — and that she and her younger sister, Annie, were abused by him and his alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell. NYAA insisted in its new report — which was produced...
Jeffrey Epstein's victims can now file claims against the billionaire financier's $634million estate through a new independent out-of-court program. The Epstein Victims' Compensation Program began accepting claims on Thursday after the Probate Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands approved the initiative earlier this month.  It comes after months of negotiations with executors of Epstein's estate who first proposed the idea in November to avoid legal turmoil through the courts. The program will be administered by Jordana Feldman, who previously ran the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund, and who will determine claimant eligibility and compensation.  A new out-of-court compensation program will allow victims of Jeffrey Epstein to file claims against his estate.
