    A fugitive yoga teacher who is facing first-degree murder charges for allegedly gunning down her love rival and then fleeing to Costa Rica on a fraudulent passport evaded cops for six weeks by going town-to-town despite officials sending two US Marshals to the country to track her down.  Kailtin Armstrong, 34, spent six weeks on the run after allegedly killing her love rival, pro-cyclist Anna Moriah Wilson, who had spent an evening with her boyfriend, Colin Strickland, in Austin in May.  At a press conference on Thursday, US Marshals said they caught Armstrong through 'good old-fashioned police work'  by going door-to-door at hostels in San Jose, Jaco Beach and Saint Teresa - for six weeks. She had used three aliases to try to conceal her identity.  Armstrong's undoing began after she caught a bus from San Jose to Jaco Beach, and then frequented several yoga studios under several aliases, including Beth Martin, Liz Martin and Ari Martin.     Police arrested a Las Vegas man accused of murdering his girlfriend's pre-school aged son and keeping his body in a freezer in the garage of their home for over two months.  On Tuesday Las Vegas Metropolitan Police charged Brandon Toseland, 35, with two kidnapping charges, and he is expected to face an additional charge of open murder, 8 News Now reported.    He was arrested after  his girlfriend sent a note to school with her older daughter in which she said he was being held against her will in the home she shared with Toseland and that she has not seen her son since December 11.  LVMPD officers were contacted by the young girl's elementary school teacher shortly after 8am on Tuesday after the child handed in the alarming note.  She went on to say that she believed her son, who was of preschool-age, was dead, Las Vegas homicide Lt.     Disturbing security videos have shown for the first time how a 29-year-old man in police custody doused himself in hand sanitizer before bursting into flames when he was tasered by cops - before the officers run away as he burns, leaving him clawing at his back and head as he tries to extinguish the fire. Jason Jones, from Catskill, died on December 15 at Clark Burn Center at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse after spending six weeks in a medically induced coma.  Just days later, AG James' office launched an investigation into Jones' death following his interaction with officers at the Catskill Police Department on October 30. On Friday, AG Letitia James's office released the footage showing the chain of events that led to Jones's death.  Jones's attorney has not disclosed why he had ended up in police custody that day.

Angel Diaz, 79, was attacked by a still-unidentified man on September 13 outside of his apartment, located on Hoyt Street in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.
