"It is horrific, the abuse of power at the FBI, and its wrong. And there needs to be a complete housecleaning that happens at the FBI," Cruz told Windsor. She followed up, asking, "Are y'all gonna be able to do that when you retake the Senate?" And Cruz said, "I think we need to fight to do that and we need to fight to have real oversight." Cruz never agreed with the idea of defunding the FBI or said anything about defunding the bureau. The Young Turks hosts couldn’t contain their anger towards Blaze TV host Dave Rubin over recent comments he made regarding the makeup of an “ideal family.” Rubin said during a recent podcast episode that “A family generally is a father and a mother, and then children … That is the norm. And I would say in some ways, this is gonna sound a little bit weird for a certain amount of people, but that is, that is sort of the ideal.” These comments come months before Rubin is set to welcome two children via surrogate with husband David Janet. Young Turks host Ana Kasparian blasted Rubin for these comments during Wednesday’s show, saying, “I don’t know how anyone can debase themselves publicly on a regular basis, more than Dave Rubin, who is married to a man and is currently expecting children who he’s having through surrogates. Which of course his audience like demonized him for doing.” She then posed a question to guest host, John Iadarola, asking, “If someone offered you a million dollars to hate yourself every single day on...

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) claimed Satan is coaxing women into having abortions. Greene made the remarks in an interview this week with Michael Voris, a Catholic activist who runs a website called Church Militant. She explained that Satan tells pregnant women “it’s ok” to get abortions and “promises” them he will help them achieve their dreams. Marge Greene says when women get abortions, it’s because Satan has whispered in their ears and promised them that if they do it, the guy they are with will marry them. pic.twitter.com/ybQkSJEOOK — Ron Filipkowski ???????? Comic Mona Shaikh bristled at the Grammy Awards for rewarding disgraced comic Louis CK, asking CNN host Brian Stelter what other awards could be heaped on the “public masturbator.” On Wednesday’s edition of the CNN+ series Reliable Sources Daily, Stelter opened the show by playing a clip of CK explaining and admitting to the sexual misconduct that has made him a flashpoint in the debate over so-called cancel culture. The clip was from the comedy album that just won the comic a Grammy award. Stelter then introduced Shaikh, who recently wrote an op-ed about CK’s Grammy entitled “Blame Louis C.K.’s Grammy Comeback on Comedy’s Gatekeepers.” Shaikh spoke about the need for male comedians to speak up, and expressed outrage over CK’s win. But she really became animated when Stelter asked for her response to a hypothetical defense of CK: MR. STELTER: I suppose his defenders would say, “Look, he’s learned, he’s used his comedy to try to help other people.” Do you buy any of that? Is that just garbage? MS. SHAIKH: Help other people? Committed to his story until the very end, Jussie Smollett protested 'I AM INNOCENT! I AM NOT SUICIDAL!' as he was led away in handcuffs to begin his 150-day jail sentence yesterday for lying to police about being the victim of a racially motivated hate crime. And while the 39-year-old actor kept a straight face throughout his outburst, it sent many others into fits of laughter.  Smollett's performance in the courtroom is now being mercilessly mocked online, with some questioning who the actor thinks is out to get him.  'Bro, chill out. You're not Jeffrey Epstein. You only got a measly 150 days,' one Twitter user said, referring to Epstein's suspicious jail suicide which conspiracy theorists have long thought was a murder to prevent him from ratting out other high profile pedophiles.  Jussie's legal team say they are desperately worried about his safety. They have not, despite requests, clarified who they think wants to hurt him, or why.   'The only thing that made my eyes roll harder than a Twilight movie was Jussie Smollett declaring how totally *not* suicidal he...
Hillary Clinton said that President Trump's comments about Vladimir Putin's 'genius' need to be called out by Republicans as she claimed that some in the GOP are sympathetic to Putin because of his 'anti-gay' and 'anti-democracy' stance.   'I want to make sure within our own country that we are calling out those people who are giving aid and comfort to  Vladimir Putin about what a genius he is what a smart move it is, who are unfortunately, being broadcast by Russian media, not only inside Russia but in Europe to demonstrate the division within our own country,' the 2016 Democratic nominee said on MSNBC's Morning Joe on Friday.   'Maybe this terrible aggression by Putin will stiffen the spines of a lot of Republicans in office who understand you cannot continue to give Trump and his enablers a blank check because they will lead us to a very bad place,' she continued.  Clinton then suggested that 'too many Republicans' are 'naive in such a dangerous way.'  'They somehow believe that because Putin presents himself as a strong leader on behalf of certain...
Donald Trump weighed in on the Russian invasion of Ukraine by calling Vladimir Putin’s maneuvering “genius” and lamented that the United States doesn’t have a similar “peace force” on its southern border. On Monday Putin recognized the breakaway Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk as independent, and used this as a pretext to send “peacekeeping” forces into the regions in what is a violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty. President Joe Biden announced sanctions against Russia in response. Appearing on The Buck Sexton Show on Tuesday, Buck Sexton asked Trump, “What went wrong here? What has the current occupant of the Oval office done that he could have done differently?” “Well, what went wrong was a rigged election,” Trump replied, repeating his false election claim for the umpteenth time. Trump said Biden shouldn’t be in the White House and that he “has no concept of what he’s doing.” The former president then recounted his immediate reaction to the news that Russia had entered Ukrainian territory: I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said this is genius. Putin...

I wanna make sure that we protect our fellow Texans far better than we're doing right now ... " On his campaign website, O'Rourke says that he thinks "we need to reduce the number of AR-15’s and AK-47’s on our streets" and that "it is far too easy for Texans to get their hands on weapons of war that are designed specifically to kill people in masses in as little time as possible."
Author Michael Shellenberger interviewed a homeless man Wednesday who bragged about how easy it is to thrive while also being addicted to drugs in San Francisco. The city is of course a haven for transients, including many who are known for their drug use. According to one man who told Shellenberger his name was James, he fled Texas and Louisiana for the San Francisco Bay area in order to capitalize on the city’s giving nature and lax drug policies. People say lack of housing forces local residents into the streets, but James says he came from Texas to San Francisco for the drugs, the non-enforcement of anti-camping laws, and the $820/month in welfare & food stamps. A man who went viral last week for lecturing a group of teenage girls on a public beach about their choice of swimwear — and comparing their bikinis to 'pornography' — has been fired from his job at a Colorado construction company. Logan Dorn was captured on camera after he approached the nine teen girls, whom he did not know, and told them to cover up in Fort Collins, Colorado. 'Take young eyes into consideration. They don't need to see pornography right in front of them. You're flaunting your stuff,' he told them. Video of the moment quickly went viral, with Logan accused of harassing the young women with a misogynistic tirade — and he simply dug his heels in, admitting that 'a righteous anger' came over him and he won't apologize for confronting the teens. Former White House Director of Strategic Communications Mercedes Schlapp and Democratic strategist Chris Hahn had a major clash on Fox News after the latter called Tucker Carlson a conspiracy theorist. The two joined Gillian Turner on Tuesday to discuss the idea of a system to keep track of which Americans have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. The Biden administration is currently exploring a possible system to accomplish this, and there are ongoing debates as state governments consider issuing “vaccine passports” or similar kinds of official documentation. Schlapp used the discussion to attack the “illogical mentality of the left” for supporting vaccine passports while opposing Republican-led efforts to restrict voting rights. Hahn countered that the concept is being primarily driven by the private sector, not the Biden administration, but his primary retort was “Republicans, like everything else they’ve done during this horrible crisis we’ve been through, are pushing these conspiracy theories that the government is trying to control you, which is causing some of their followers not to get vaccinated.” Hahn named Schlapp and Carlson among those guilty of pushing these...

New York Mets: Trevor Bauer is a big fan of Steve Cohen and he isn’t shy about explaining why By: Andres Chavez November 17, 2020 ShareTweetFlipRedditThree evident realities highlight the New York Mets’ offseason. One of them is that they badly need competent starting pitching. And the third one is that ace and Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer is available just for money. Cohen just has a handful of days as the new chief of the New York Mets, and he is already making some fans in baseball. One of them, apparently, is Bauer.
