Fox News’s top-rated host, Tucker Carlson, declared on Monday that President Joe Biden is “responsible, either directly or through proxies for the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines.” The comments are the latest in a series of remarks from Carlson suggesting the U.S. is behind the sabotage of the energy pipelines, which carry gas from Russia to northern Europe. Although, Monday’s comments went far past a suggestion. “So the question of who blew up Russia’s energy pipelines to Europe, which is not just a question in the news, it’s a historical question. We’ve addressed it a couple of times already, is not really much of a question anymore,” Carlson begins and he does indeed unequivocally declare Biden did it. “So on television, they’re assuring you that, obviously, the Russians did it. Vladimir Putin sabotaged his own pipelines with his nation at war. Putin intentionally destroyed Russia’s most vital national asset,” Carlson continues. “Now, why do you ask yourself, would Putin do that? Well, because. Because actually, no one’s explained why Putin would do something like that,” Carlson then argues, failing...
CHELSEA reportedly have "no problem" meeting Napoli's £34million asking price for defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The Blues are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements after losing both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer. 1Chelsea are reportedly prepared to match Napoli's valuation of Kalidou KoulibalyCredit: AFP And the Blues are now thought to have stepped up their interest in Napoli defender Koulibaly, 31. Chelsea are prepared to stump up the £34m Napoli are asking for to part ways with the defender, according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport. Koulibaly is out of contract with the Serie A side at the end of next season, meaning this summer is Napoli's last chance to demand a sizeable fee. Juventus are also understood to be keen on the Senegalese ace, with Matthijs de Ligt linked with both Chelsea and Bayern Munich. But in a boost to the Blues it's claimed Koulibaly would not play for another Serie A club out of loyalty to Napoli. New Jersey Democratic Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman tore into former President Donald Trump in an interview with radio host Dean Obeidallah over Trump’s call for Russian President Vladimir Putin to deliver dirt on Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden. During an interview with Just the News on Real America’s Voice, Trump called on Putin to release what he claims is damaging information on both Hunter Biden and his father, President Biden. On Friday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Dean Obeidallah Show, the host asked Rep. Watson Coleman about that latest plea for dirt to Putin. Watson Coleman did not hold back, questioning Trump’s mental health and spiritual existence: MR. OBEIDALLAH: Putin is like our enemy. We’re in a proxy war with Russia. We’re not fighting them, but we’re giving them weapons to kill Russians because they’re taking out democracy. And there’s Donald Trump literally praising Putin again at his rally Saturday, and then on TV, on some horrible show I don’t watch somewhere, saying that Putin should find out dirt on Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. In the middle of this war! REP. WATSON COLEMAN:  So I don’t want to disrespect anybody who...
Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich complained to White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield about a new vaccine requirement for migrants, after her network spent months asking why no such requirement was being instituted. At a White House press briefing Tuesday, Heinrich pressed Bedingfield about a new vaccine requirement for migrants at the southern border, suggesting that giving “free vaccines to undocumented migrants” could leave the U.S. unable to vaccinate “uninsured Americans.” HEINRICH: Thank you, Kate. There are reports that the administration is going to require COVID vaccines for undocumented migrants at the southwest border just as Title 42 is expected to end and right after the fourth shot got FDA approval. You just highlighted the impacts of not having enough COVID funding when it comes to paying for shots for the uninsured and sending shipments of treatments to states. So why would the administration give out free vaccines to undocumented migrants but not to, for instance, uninsured Americans? BEDINGFIELD: Well, to be clear, we have the supply that we need in this moment to vaccinate Americans here in this country....
LONDON (AP) — Chelsea is asking for its FA Cup game against Middlesbrough to be played without a crowd because the government won’t allow it to sell any tickets under the terms of its license to operate after owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned. Chelsea said it had been in “extensive discussions” with the office of financial sanctions implementations ahead of Saturday’s away game. “It is important for the competition that the match against Middlesbrough goes ahead,” Chelsea said in a statement on Tuesday, “however it is with extreme reluctance that we are asking the FA board to direct that the game be played behind closed doors for matters of sporting integrity. “Chelsea FC recognises that such an outcome would have a huge impact on Middlesbrough and its supporters, as well as our own fans who have already bought the limited number of tickets that were sold before the license was imposed, but we believe this is the fairest way of proceeding in the current circumstances.” Abramovich’s assets were frozen after he was sanctioned by the British government last week over...
MSNBC’s Katy Tur ended a very emotional interview Tuesday with Hannah Hopko, a former member of the Ukrainian parliament, by apologizing for the lack of help Ukraine is getting to fight off the brutal Russian invasion as Hopko broke down into tears. As Hopko explained to Tur the situation on the ground in Ukraine she noted, “Mariupol is in siege. 400,000 people now without water. One died because of dehydration. The world must demonstrate leadership.” Tur jumped in and said, “I just read a couple lines about that and I had to stop reading because I was going to break down. The idea this little girl died of dehydration alone because the mom wasn’t there any longer. Hopko couldn’t contain her emotions any longer and began crying as Tur spoke. “It’s — it is horrible. I understand it’s horrible. There are a lot of Americans out there who, sorry, want a no-fly zone as well but, again, what we’re hearing from officials they don’t want to start another World War,” Tur noted referencing Hopko’s earlier comments for a no-fly zone...

Daniel Rider’s Ring doorbell camera recorded parts of the exchange in 20-second bursts, beginning about 20 minutes after the chaos at the parade. In the nearly two weeks since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, it has endeavored to convince the world that it plans to be a functional national government – yet the jihadists have offered no indication they plan to address the largest public health crisis facing the world today, the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. Mandel Ngan/Getty Images There has been a great deal of concern that there could be more violence over the next week, between now and Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20th. There’s been reporting of additional threats lawmakers have been briefed on, including a disturbing new report today from The Daily Beast, and security at the Capitol has increased. Even some top Republican lawmakers have said the president is to blame for stirring up the violent rioting at the Capitol, and many have called on him to make an explicit statement telling his supporters to stay peaceful. And now it appears he has. In a written statement. Here’s what the statement reads: In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind. That is not what I stand for and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You. Fox News obtained the statement prior to the White House releasing it, and according to their reporting,...

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden refused to explicitly respond to the bombshell emails obtained by the New York Post, alleging a direct link between the then-vice president and his son Hunter’s lucrative business dealings with Ukrainian gas conglomerate Burisma. When Biden was leaving Michigan Friday night, CBS Reporter Bo Erickson asked him about the story claiming Hunter introduced Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma, to then-VP Biden – who was in charge of U.S. policy towards Ukraine – in 2015. Hunter was also serving on the board of Burisma when the alleged meeting took place, and he was getting paid tens of thousands of dollars each month. “I know you’d ask it. I have no response. It’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” Biden replied, sounding annoyed. CBS Reporters Ed O’Keefe and Paula Reid came out in defense of their colleague for questioning the Democrat presidential nominee, who rarely speaks to the press. BOSTON (CBS) — The deadline has come and gone for an Oliver Ekman-Larsson trade, and the defenseman is not going to Boston or Vancouver. Instead, he’ll stay put with the Arizona Coyotes, his agent told Coyotes Insider Crag Morgan on Friday. Ekman-Larsson and his agent had set a Friday afternoon deadline for the Coyotes to reach a deal with either the Boston Bruins or Vancouver Canucks, the blue liner’s preferred landing spots. He had all the leverage in trade talks given his no-movement clause, but neither the Bruins or Canucks wanted to budge on Arizona’s lofty asking price. The Bruins reportedly didn’t like what Arizona was asking for in return for the 10-year veteran, and will now look elsewhere for help with their defensive corps. Boston will likely circle back to throw own defenseman, Torey Krug, who is now officially a free agent and can field offers from other teams.
Democratic Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot snapped at a reporter who asked whether the “lack of consequences” for the looting that took place following the death of George Floyd may have contributed to the latest round of violence and looting. After a weekend of looting and rioting sparked by a shootout between police officers and an armed suspect, Lightfoot decried the violence as “brazen and extensive criminal looting and destruction” in a Monday morning press conference. During the presser, Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown suggested looters could have been behaving “as if there are not consequences” because of “what happened previously,” referring to Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx’s decision to drop charges against several hundred protesters arrested for looting and other offenses during the George Floyd protests. “It almost sounds as though you were saying … the reason we have this is the courts and the prosecutors were not doing their job, that they were going too easy on the looters from the last time around. Is that my understanding?” the reporter asked Brown. WATCH: “Don’t take it from...
