Ryan-Marie Houck previously told LifeSiteNews that a "pro-abortion protester" would say awful things to her son — who was 12 at the time — such as "you’re dad’s a fag." Houck's wife claimed Love got into "the son’s personal space" and refused to stop saying "crude … inappropriate and disgusting" things to the father and son. Mark Houck "shoved him away from his child, and the guy fell back" and hit the ground. Love reportedly suffered injuries that required medical attention. But the incident went nowhere until President Joe Biden's Department of Justice charged Houck with a violation of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act. The FACE Act condemns anyone who uses "force or threat of force or by physical obstruction, intentionally injures, intimidates or interferes with or attempts to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person because that person is or has been, or in order to intimidate such person or any other person or any class of persons from, obtaining or providing reproductive health services." Now Houck, 48, faces a maximum sentence of 11...
The wives of border patrol agents are running for Congress after becoming fed up with what their husbands have to deal with under President Joe Biden's immigration policies. Of the three running for Congress, Representative Mayra Flores already won a special election in June to replace a Democratic congressman who left mid-term in Texas' 34th congressional district. The other two are Cassy Garcia, who beat out six other Republicans to take on Democrat Representative Henry Cuellar and Irene Armendariz-Jackson, who quit her job as a Realtor in El Paso to challenge Democratic Representative Veronica Escobar. If Garcia and Armendariz-Jackson are successful, Republicans will only need to flip two more House seats in the 2022 midterm elections to win back a majority in the lower chamber. Predictions have shown for months that Democrats would lose the House in November's election. The three womens' focus on border issues has won them broad support from conservatives in the border state. For most expectant parents, finding out the sex of your unborn baby is a a precious and exciting moment. But what happens when the sex isn't what you want? People from around the world have taken to the anonymous US secret-sharing app Whisper to reveal their sadness about having a child of a certain sex.  One expectant parent even said they were so sad they were having a girl, they didn't know if they would ever be able to 'care for her'.  Another said no one knew how sad she was feeling and that she felt 'awful' with herself for not wanting the baby to be the sex it was.  A third said they were initially disappointed by the idea of having a son, but now they had got used to the idea, while one man said he needed a son - and not a daughter - as he was male.   Disappointing news: Parents used the anonymity of Whisper to reveal how they truly felt about the gender of their unborn child. New Hampshire GOP Senate nominee Don Bolduc decided to bring props out with him as he celebrated his triumph in the primary election. Bolduc, a retired Army brigadier general who has embraced Donald Trump’s 2020 election lies, defeated centrist Chuck Morse in Tuesday’s New Hampshire GOP primary. The result means Bolduc will face Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan in the state’s general election, and the development signals the continued march of 2022 midterm Republican candidates who’ve cast doubt on the 2020 election’s legitimacy. On Tuesday night, Bolduc brandished a shield pierced with arrows as he made celebratory remarks to his supporters. “We have taken their arrows!” He said. “We Have successfully ourselves! We are now going to rally around the circle: unity, freedom, liberty, and together, we’re gonna beat Maggie Hassan!” Judging by the design and the size of the shield, the armor piece appears to be a children’s costume piece referencing the movie 300. Political observers weighed in on that, along with the performativeness of Bolduc’s victory lap: . @Redistrict might be time to change the rating on this race...
A lightning attack by Ukrainian forces has smashed Russian lines and punched deep into occupied territory, liberating more than 30 settlements in the Kharkiv region, President Zelensky announced. The assault caught the Russian lines by surprise at a vulnerable section of their front in an attack that threatens an important supply hub used by occupying Russian forces in the east. 'Our army, intelligence units and the security services are carrying out active engagements in several operational areas. They are doing so successfully,' the Ukrainian president said in a video address to the nation. 'We are gradually taking control over new settlements. We are returning the Ukrainian flag and protection for our citizens everywhere.' He added that Ukrainians should report any crimes committed by the occupying forces.  Vitaly Ganchev, head of the Russian-backed administration in the Kharkiv region, virtually admitted that large tracts of its frontline had crumbled southeast of Ukraine's second-largest city Kharkiv. In light of the huge advances made by Ukrainian forces, CIA Director William Burns condemned Putin's invasion as 'already a failure'. He said the Russian dictator had erred initially...

When I heard that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to send their children, George, Charlotte and Louis, to Lambrook School in Berkshire, I felt an involuntary and unwelcome shudder. From a distance of several decades, I remember the establishment as a cold place of sadistic beatings, bullying, fear, cruelty and child sexual abuse. I was just seven years old when my mother suddenly announced one Christmas that I was to be sent away to school. A week or two later, she drove me up the long tree-lined drive to the imposing front door of Lambrook. I remember it as if it were yesterday. I was absolutely terrified. In the car park, our battered Austin 10 was surrounded by Bentleys, Jaguars and Rolls-Royces. Then, as now, Lambrook was regarded as one of the top prep schools and a feeder for Eton, Harrow and Winchester. My schoolmates were to be the sons of aristocrats and captains of industry, and I immediately felt intimidated as I knew we weren’t well off. My father worked for the Vestey family in Brazil, and...

A pair of single mums who moved in together to save money have spoken about how their arrangement works - and whether it gets in the way of dating. Lauren Robinson, 26, and Samantha Best, 24, live together with their children - five-year-old Haidyn and four-year-old Kaelin - in Auckland, New Zealand. It was Lauren's initial idea to share her house after the pair each broke up with their respective partners, deciding that splitting the cost of the rent and food was a savvier plan than living apart. Samantha told FEMAIL that she was with Kaelin's dad for five years before they parted ways, leaving a 23-year-old Sam trying to figure out her new role as a mother and create new living arrangements. David Marcus is a columnist and the author of 'Charade: The COVID Lies that Crushed a Nation.' For Donald Trump these days it seems like his greatest enemies are the gift that just keeps on giving. As President Joe Biden's Department of Justice flounders around trying to explain why, exactly, it decided to raid the home of a past and possibly future president, Trump's lead over presumed primary challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, has plumped up by a full 10 points. It took just a week. Donald Trump leaves Trump Tower in New York City on August 10, two days after the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida During that week Trump's greatest foes -- the American liberal news media -- went back into freakout mode, fancifully predicting the end is near, the walls are closing in . . . or something like that. As the FBI raided Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence on August 8, there were alleged nuclear secrets to be found and passports to be confiscated – which Trump was said to initially be lying about, until his...
Britney Spears' ex-husband has posted a series of clips of their young sons arguing with their mother, as the warring parents step up their increasingly acrimonious fight. Kevin Federline, 44, revealed last week that their sons Sean, 16, and 15-year-old Jayden no longer wish to spend time with Spears, 40. The singer was devastated by Federline talking about the family rift, and posted a series of angry messages on Instagram, including one accusing Federline of exposing the teenagers to marijuana. On Wednesday night Federline re-activated a long-dormant Instagram account to retaliate by posting the clips of their sons, which were filmed four years ago. 'I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they've been through,' the father of six wrote.  The first clip shared by Federline appears to be filmed in a bedroom, with Spears berating her sons - then aged 11 and 12 - for lacking respect Federline and Spears are pictured in 2006, at an after party for the Grammys. The pair were married from 2004 through 2007 'As much...
Members of the Republican Study Committee are set to travel to Bedminster Tuesday night to have dinner with former President Donald Trump, a day after FBI agents raided Mar-a-Lago.  Punchbowl News reported Tuesday morning that Rep. Jim Banks, who chairs the RSC, a caucus of conservative House members, would be taking a dozen lawmakers with him to New Jersey later in the day.  Breitbart News reported last month that Banks and other Republican Study Committee members would be traveling to Bedminster to meet with Trump 'in a few weeks.'  'RSC has visited with him many times before. We have a very close relationship with him, and the Republican Study Committee believes he's the most effective president in a lifetime or more,' Banks told Breitbart in July.  The timing of Tuesday's dinner is fortuitous as many members of the party have rushed to publicly show their support for Trump in the aftermath of Monday's FBI raid.  Former President Donald Trump was spotted leaving Trump Tower in New York on Monday night after announcing his Mar-a-Lago home had been raided by the...
The next step for the right-wing is a plot to change the U.S. Constitution to make it significantly more conservative by creating a Constitutional Convention among red states. Article V in the US Constitution allows for two methods of amending the document. They can gather a two-thirds majority of Congress to propose an amendment and have it ratified by three-fourths of the states. The other option is having two-thirds of U.S. states call a constitutional convention and passing and ratifying amendments. Business Insider reported about the effort encouraged by former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), who was kicked out of office in 2006 by nearly 18 points. But that loss doesn't mean that he can't force his will on the rest of the country. Speaking at the Dec. 2021 American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) policy summit, Santorum explained that he and his allies want to remake the U.S. into a solidly conservative nation. "You take this grenade and you pull the pin, you've got a live piece of ammo in your hands," Santorum explained in audio captured...
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot's motorcade has been busted for multiple speeding and traffic offenses - despite the lawmaker pushing for harsher punishments for drivers who go too fast.   Lightfoot's SUVs have since February 2020 been involved in at least eight incidents, and since May 2021 received three speed camera tickets and two warnings, plus a red light ticket. None of the fines - now totaling $658 - have been paid, CWB Chicago reported. Footage first uncovered by CWB shows multiple incidents involving the cars. In one clip, two Ford Expedition SUVs race through a set of red lights, with traffic camera seen flashing in their wake. In another, a black Chevy SUV can be seen making a left turn at a red light at a large intersection. It is unclear if Lightfoot was in the SUVs at the time, although she won't have been driving them in either instance.  The revelations come as Lightfoot, who took over in May 2019, continues to push to lower the 'buffer zone' threshold that speed cameras allow before issuing a citation. Lori Lightfoot is seen...

Leftists have been up in arms about a Supreme Court decision that enables states to ban abortions — in a piece posted last month, Pieklo described the high court's decision as "catastrophic for millions of people in this country, for the rule of law, and our democracy." "We're officially living in a post-Roe world," Pieklo wrote. "Knowing this day would come doesn’t make the reality any easier to process. It’s tough. It’s dark. But as trite as this may sound so soon after such a devastating loss of autonomy and humanity at the Supreme Court, the fight is far from over—and I, for one, am going nowhere until it’s finished."
A frugal couple with nine children who own their home in upstate New York, have zero debt and spend just $364 a month, say they're coping with the nation's record-high inflation by doing what they've always done: not spending money.    The Shillito family of Burnt Hill, New York, grow fruits and vegetables in their garden and their grocery shopping is limited to buying in bulk, buying marked down items, and shopping directly with restaurant supply stores.  Americans have started changing their spending habits as inflation hits pockets hard and economists warn a recession is inevitable.  But frugal families, like Art and Janelle Shillito, who have nine children, ages 2 months to 19 years, say they have a few tactics that could help Americans save some cash.  'It doesn't affect us as much because of the way we shop,' Art Shillito told the Wall Street Journal, adding that the way they save money is not always easy, which doesn't appeal to everyone.  'People find what we do interesting but when they find out how involved it is, they're not interested. They want a...
CNN Newsroom got heated Friday afternoon when host Alisyn Camerota mediated a tense conversation between CNN commentators Ana Navarro and Alice Stewart regarding the Supreme Court decision of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The 5-4 ruling was announced Friday morning in an opinion from the Supreme Court, in which the decision effectively strikes down the legal precedent of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision. This leaves the legality of abortion to individual state discretion, altering the environment surrounding reproductive healthcare across the country. Camerota began the discussion Friday afternoon by acknowledging that both CNN commentators consider themselves to be aligned with the Republican Party, highlighting their difference in opinion on this controversial issue. The host turned to Stewart first who considers this ruling a ‘victory’ for those active in the pro-life movement. The commentator argues that “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start.” Stewart continued that “it’s time to put this decision of life, against abortion, away from unelected judges,” arguing that “it’s time to put this decision back in the hands of people at the state level.” “So,...
A group of Republicans and Democrats said Tuesday they had finally reached a deal on gun legislation after spending the long weekend working out kinks between the two sides and wrestling with a divisive abortion issue. More than a week after a bipartisan group announcement agreement on a 'framework' agreement'  Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., the lead Democratic negotiator, said the final agreement was 'in good shape.'  Top Republican negotiator Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, who got booed at the party convention in his home state over the weekend, said he, Murphy and the other two top Senate bargainers had reached agreement.  The group of negotiators -  which included Murphy, Kyrsten Sinema, Ariz., on the Democratic side and Sens. Cornyn and Thom Tillis, N.C., on the Republican side, had hoped to have the text of the legislation out by Monday - but nothing came through.  It lacks the stronger gun control restrictions that President Joe Biden pushed for, and came together on a day when new details emerged of the failures of law enforcement to confront a mass shooter in Uvalde, Texas.  'This bipartisan...
THE CDC has issued wild guidance on how those infected with monkeypox can have safe sex. The news comes as the monkeypox virus continues to spread in the United States and other parts of the world. 3The CDC has issued new guidance on how those infected with monkeypox can have safe sex, though it discourages people from doing so 3Monkeypox sores can take weeks to heal 3The CDC says the safest thing you can do if you are infected with monkeypox is to avoid having sex of any kind Guidelines released by the CDC this month recommend having virtual sex, masturbating together six feet apart without touching, and having sex with your clothes on. They also recommend avoiding kissing. In addition, the CDC suggests washing hands, sex, toys, bedding, and clothes, and covering areas where rashes and sores are present. The safest thing to you and your partner can do if you are infected with monkeypox, however, is to avoid having sex of any kind, and not kiss or touch each other, especially if you have rashes or sores. The CDC has issued bizarre guidance telling Americans infected with monkeypox to have sex by masturbating at least six feet away from their partner, among other recommendations. Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says anyone who has the disease must not have sex. But for those who ignore the advice, the agency has published a bizarre list of the dos and donts under the bedsheets. Among its tips was also to have sex while still fully-clothed, to ensure all rashes are covered and even to avoid kissing. Other advice was to wash hands, fetish gear and clothes immediately afterwards and even to consider having sex virtually such as over the phone.  People catch monkeypox by touching infectious skin lesions, but it can also be spread through the air during 'sustained' face-to-face contact. It can take up to four weeks for anyone infected with monkeypox to recover from the disease, with about eight days needed from infection for symptoms to appear. Another 12 monkeypox cases were recorded in America Wednesday, in the biggest day-on-day...
SIX in 10 American parents were raised thinking sex was “taboo,” new research suggests. A recent OnePoll survey asked 2,000 parents of children ages five to 18 to examine their own views about sex, including how they’ve addressed the topic with their kids. 1New research suggests six in 10 American parents were raised thinking sex was 'taboo'Credit: Getty Fifty-eight percent of respondents have already spoken to their children about sex, and 21 percent plan to do so in the future. However, the same percentage (21 percent) don’t plan to bring up the “sex talk” at all. Surprisingly, 58 percent of parents whose kids are 10 to 13 and 57 percent of parents of kids 5 to 9 have given them “birds and the bees” talk. Half of the parents of children ages 4 and under also had those conversations with them (51 percent). Outspoken Elon Musk has doubled down on his new work-from-home ultimatum sent to Tesla staff Tuesday, sending out a second email to clarify the policy that saw him assert 'remote work is no longer acceptble [sic].' 'Everyone at Tesla is required to spend a minimum of 40 hours in the office per week,' Musk, 50, wrote in a second email sent to staff just hours after the first, which was leaked and reported by Teslarati. The message, shared by Twitter user @SamNissim, bears the subject line 'To be super clear' and was sent to an email list labeled 'Everyone' at 10:51 pm. In it, Musk reasserted his commitment to statements made in the previous message -  and seemed to take a shot at woke Silicon Valley companies for their remote policies in the process. 'The office must be where your actual colleagues are located, not some remote pseudo office,' it reads, reiterating assertions from the prior email, which stated staff would only be allowed to work from home if they worked 40 hours a week in-office.    Musk then declared: 'If you don’t...

CNN senior political reporter Malika Henderson said Tuesday on “Inside Politics” that “white Americans have to come to terms with” their racism while reacting to President Joe Biden’s speech in Buffalo, NY, after the mass shooting in Tops supermarket. Anchor John King asked, “The question is how do you sustain it in the sense that the president of the United States saying there’s a venom of hate in our politics. It cannot be the story of our time. How do you bend the arc?” Henderson said, “You know, it has been the story of our time. It has been the story of America. White Americans need to be doing more to combat racism, CNN senior political reporter Nia-Malika Henderson and others concluded on Tuesday following a speech by President Joe Biden addressing the recent Buffalo shooting at a supermarket that left 10 people dead. Since the shooting, details from a manifesto written by the alleged shooter have come to light, revealing racism as the likely motivator behind the shooting. Biden referred to the act as domestic terrorism on Tuesday and condemned those who push the Great Replacement theory, reportedly referenced in the manifesto. Reacting to the president’s remarks on Inside Politics, CNN’s Henderson chalked up racism to a “white cultural problem” and said white Americans need to be doing a lot more in condemning it and coming to terms with their own possible appeasement of it. “You know, oftentimes, it is African-Americans who talk about racism. It is really a white cultural problem that white Americans have to come to terms with. Why is it that African Americans and brown and Black people are more generally are seen as the other or demonized...
The parents of a six-year-old boy who ran a marathon in nearly nine hours revealed on Monday that they have been visited by Child Protective Services - as they slammed athletes for sparking 'emotional breakdowns.' Ben and Kami Crawford, of Bellevue, Kentucky, have been heavily criticized online since they first posted photos of their son, Rainier, running in the 22.6 mile Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 1. And in an Instagram post on Monday, they shared a photo of Rainier, shirtless, as he was interviewed by a Child Protective Services social workers, writing: 'On Friday, social workers came to our house and interviewed our children because leaders in the running community call running with children wrong.' 'This needs to stop,' they captioned the post. 'Our children are having emotional breakdowns, NOT from running, but from a mob that has been weaponized by running's most accomplished and celebrated individuals,' the Kentucky parents wrote, in an apparent jab at US Olympian Kara Goucher who previously tweeted that six-years-old is too young for a marathon. 'They are stating that children running is abusive...
Real Time host Bill Maher mocked woke advocates for transgender issues on Friday night, saying the possible overturn of Roe V. Wade was a more important issue that puts their complaints into perspective.  In his opening monologue, Maher discussed the Supreme Court leak that revealed five justices are prepared to alter the landmark abortion case. But the talk show host couldn't resist taking a jab at transgender people and their supporters obsession with policing pronouns.  'Louisiana wants to pass a law that says flat out if you get an abortion, you get charged with murder. Wow,' Maher said, referencing the state's controversial abortion bill.  'Suddenly getting the right pronoun doesn’t seem so big, does it?'  Real Time host Bill Maher slammed pro-choice defenders on Friday night, saying their claim that overturning Roe V. Wade would send U.S. abortion rights back 50 years is 'factually inaccurate' and that the landmark decision is fluid and not 'settled law' A leak from the Supreme Court revealed that five of the nine justices are willing to strike down Roe V. Wade, which triggered hundreds to...
BOSTON (CBS) — Bill Belichick doesn’t run his football operation based on what the supposed “draft experts” believe to be true. Never has it been more clear than in the first two rounds of the 2022 draft. In round one, after trading down eight spots, the Patriots went off the beaten path by drafting Cole Strange, a guard out of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Strange was expected to be picked in the second or third round, but the Patriots liked him and picked him at No. 29. A night later, the Patriots traded up four spots, indicating they were hot on a particular player and didn’t want to risk losing him to another team. That player was Tyquan Thornton, a wide receiver out of Baylor who was not predicted by anybody to be taken in the second round — or really even the third round, for that matter. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler had Thornton listed as the 176th best available prospect. While his speed is undeniable, his size makes him a major question mark at the NFL level. Brugler...
By STEVE MEGARGEE, AP Sports Writer MILWAUKEE (AP) — After a bumpy beginning to their postseason, the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks rediscovered their championship form in plenty of time to dispose of the Chicago Bulls in their opening-round series. READ MORE: Report: Bucks' Khris Middleton Expected To Miss Second-Round Series Against Celtics With MCL InjuryThey likely won’t make it past the next round unless they’re playing at this level right from the start. The Bucks next face the sizzling Boston Celtics, who swept the Brooklyn Nets in the opening round. Their Eastern Conference semifinal matchup begins Sunday in Boston. “They’re the hottest team in the league,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said Wednesday after the Bucks’ 116-100 series-clinching Game 5 victory over the Chicago Bulls. “You’d have to be in a cave to not know they’re winning every game. They’re the best defense in the league, got great players, great coaching.” The Bucks don’t expect to have three-time All-Star forward Khris Middleton available for the start of the series. Middleton sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee in Game...
The Chicago Bulls never have come back from a 3-1 deficit to win a best-of-seven playoff series, so the odds of them taking the next three games from the Milwaukee Bucks already were slim before Zach LaVine entered health and safety protocols for COVID-19 on Tuesday. After a glint of optimism emerged following the Bulls’ Game 2 win in Milwaukee, we now return to our regularly scheduled pessimism already in progress. No one believed the Bulls had a chance before the series began, and after back-to-back blowout losses at home and with LaVine’s status, no one believes it now. But the schedule says the game must go on if the Bucks plan on moving into the second round. And if you’ve followed the story from training camp on, you owe it to yourself to tune in one more time for what’s expected to be the Bulls’ final run. The Bucks clearly are a superior defensive team, denying the Bulls inside and forcing them to try to beat them from the perimeter. Without Lonzo Ball in the lineup, it’s a strategy...
On Friday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stated that she doesn’t see China “undermining the impact of our sanctions” on Russia and it’s “natural” that China would have an incentive to boost its purchases of Russian oil. Yellen also said that “We would like to see them do more to take advantage of their relationship with Russia, to try to bring about a diplomatic end to this war.” Yellen said, “I don’t see China at this point as undermining the impact of our sanctions. As far as I can tell, Chinese financial institutions are avoiding — they very much value their access to the U.S. financial system…their economic relations with the United States and Europe, and I’m not seeing them as taking steps to undermine sanctions. We’ve made clear that that would be unacceptable to us, and made clear that it would be unacceptable to help Russia add to its stock of arms to conduct this war. We would like to see them do more to take advantage of their relationship with Russia, to try...

The union representing Southwest Airlines pilots warned that fatigue in the cockpit is currently the company's 'number-one safety threat' as a record number of their pilots reported exhaustion and were forced to work on their days off this year. In a letter addressed to Southwest CEO Bob Jordan, President Mike Van de Ven and other top executives on Tuesday, the Southwest Airline Pilots Association (SWAPA) told the company that 'immediate action to address Southwest's scheduling failures is imperative.' They said there has been a sharp increase in pilots foregoing flying due to fatigue, along with a rising number of reports to a voluntary safety reporting program showing 'errors that can be directly correlated to fatigue.' 'SWAPA Pilots are the most productive Pilots in the world and they go above and beyond to provide each of our guests a safe and efficient experience,' the union said.  'Continued and deliberate deficiencies in the management of our network and Pilot scheduling have destroyed our efficiency, and now even safety is becoming untenable.' For months, the union and the airline have been locked in...
