The National Archives said on Friday that some records from Donald Trump's White House are still not in its possession  The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is still missing Trump administration records that it sought after the former president's term ended, the agency said in a letter on Friday. 'The National Archives has confirmed to the Oversight Committee that they still have not received all presidential records from the Trump White House,' Acting Archivist Debra Steidel Wall said. Wall said the Department of Justice (DOJ) would be consulted about whether 'to initiate an action for the recovery of records unlawfully removed' by White House officials. She suggested the Trump administration ran afoul of the Presidential Records Act by using 'electronic messaging accounts that were not copied or forwarded into their official electronic messaging accounts.'  It comes nearly two months after the FBI's unannounced search of Trump's Mar-a-Lago mansion prompted a firestorm of outrage from the right, with the vast majority of Republicans labeling it a political move. Wall would not say whether Trump himself was still unlawfully clinging onto records, citing...

The FBI interviewed Pat Cipollone and Patrick Philbin, two top White House lawyers under former President Donald Trump, in connection to sensitive documents that were kept at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago residence after he left office, according to reports. Philbin, the former deputy counsel to the president, was interviewed by the agency sometime in the spring after the National Archives and Records Administration retrieved about 15 boxes of material from Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence earlier this year, sources familiar with the situation told the New York Times. The NARA contends those documents were presidential records that should have been given to the agency when Trump left office. It’s not clear when Cipollone was interviewed by the agency, the outlet reported. However, the two being interviewed marks the highest-ranking Trump officials to be interviewed by investigators since the documents were discovered. This story is developing and will be updated. News
FBI Director Christopher Wray stated, “Human trafficking is among the most heinous crimes the FBI encounters.” He continued, “Unfortunately, such crimes — against both adults and children — are far more common than most people realize. As we did in this operation, the FBI and our partners will continue to find and arrest traffickers, identify and help victims, and raise awareness of the exploitation of our most vulnerable populations.” According to the NCMEC, runaway children make up the majority of missing minor cases reported to the non-profit. In 2021, the organization worked with authorities, families, and child welfare on 27,733 missing children cases. It reported that 19% of children who ran away from social services were likely victims of sex trafficking. Cases of missing children are not required to be reported to the NCMEC. However, cases of missing children from social services care must be reported to the non-profit. President and CEO of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children Michelle DeLaune said, “The success of Operation Cross County reinforces what NCMEC sees every day. Children are...

Authorities in California revealed that missing teen Kiely Rodni was wearing a pink and white sweatshirt in the final hours before she vanished from a 'drug-fueled' campsite party more than a week ago.  Rodni, 16, has been missing for more than a week after she vanished from a party near the Prosser Family Campground in Truckee on August 6. She was added to the FBI's missing persons database on Thursday - five days after she was last seen.  The new information comes just days after a tip - one of 1,200 the agency has received - led to FBI spent the day on Friday digging up a 'potential burial site' that turned out to contain only a dog carcass.   Investigators provided the information over the weekend, and confirmed that the last known ping from Rodni's cell phone was around 12:30 a.m. on August 6 near the campground's reservoir after she texted her mother that she would be straight home.  Late Sunday, the Placer County Sheriff's Office posted a photo on social media late Sunday of a white hoodie with pink...
Missing California teen Kiely Rodni has been added to the FBI's missing persons database as her boyfriend revealed he texted her to 'be safe' and 'don't do anything stupid' before she left for the campground party.  Rodni, 16, was last seen Saturday near the Prosser Family Campground in Truckee at a party attended by more than 100 juveniles and young adults, the Placer County Sheriff's Office said. The Sheriff's Office originally said they did not believe she had been abducted, but the FBI announced on Thursday that it had added Rodni to the national database - just five days after she went missing.  Her boyfriend, Jagger Westfall, revealed earlier this week that he had texted his girlfriend to 'be safe' and 'don't do anything stupid' before Rodni went to the party, which was reportedly filled with illegal activities, such as alcohol.  Rodni, herself, was reportedly very drunk at the party.  Westfall, who did not attend the party for unknown reasons, texted her to complain about his day and heard back hours later.   'At 10.30 she responded to what I was saying, [she]...
Roger Stone has slammed the FBI raid on Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, accusing prosecutors of 'utilizing optics and drama' rather than going through the courts to obtain missing files.  Federal agents stormed Trump's Palm Beach property Monday in an unannounced search related to White House records linked to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot sought by the National Archives.  Stone, a longtime GOP operative and Trump confidante who himself was also at the center of a high-profile raid during the Mueller investigation in 2019, blasted the operation as a dramatic political stunt against the former president.  'I know firsthand the violation that President Trump must feel tonight,' Stone said in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com Monday.  Roger Stone told DailyMail.com he knows 'firsthand' the 'violation that President Trump' must be feeling following the FBI raid at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Monday  FBI agents with a search warrant raided Trump's Mar-a-Lago retreat in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday morning 'Just as Mueller's prosecutors could have contacted my lawyers so that I could turn myself in voluntarily, they [instead] had 29 heavily armed...

The girl, who is from Arizona, was last seen around 1 a.m. on July 1 leaving the Nipomo home where she was spending the summer with relatives. The girl had reportedly agreed to run away with him but just hours before they were supposed to meet, the affidavit said, she tried to back out, writing, “Baby I’m sorry but I can’t I’m not ready. I can’t do that to them I’m sorry.” The Justice Department press release says her family was planning to celebrate her 15th birthday with a quinceañera party that weekend. He convinced her...

IT will likely take "awhile, meaning weeks" to process and analyze the evidence - including a refrigerator - that was removed from a missing girl's father's former home, a retired FBI agent has said. Earlier this week, it seemed the world was going to finally get answers about what happened to eight-year-old Harmony Montgomery after she seemingly vanished in 2019. 6Little Harmony Montgomery was last seen alive in October 2019 6Harmony Montgomery and her brother were inseparable while they bounced around the foster care systemCredit: Facebook 6Law enforcement was outside this Manchester, New Hampshire home Tuesday for about 24 hoursCredit: NBC After a series of alleged errors, no one reported her missing until December 2021. Police narrowed down the time of her disappearance to November 28 to December 10, 2019, but the months-long search so far has been fruitless and frustrating. That was until Tuesday when there seemed to be an ominous breakthrough in the case. Law enforcement at every level - local, state and federal - swarmed the Manchester, New Hampshire home where Harmony's father Adam Montgomery and...
The family of missing Harmony Montgomery has been warned by investigators that the chances of the little girl's survival are slim, after officers from state and federal agencies descended on a home linked to the girl's father Tuesday. Authorities were seen removing evidence, including a refrigerator, from the Manchester, New Hampshire, apartment, where Harmony had lived with her father, Adam Montgomery, and stepmom, Kayla Montgomery, before her disappearance. After the search, Johnathon Miller, the adoptive father of Harmony's younger brother, Jamison, told reporters cops had told them the outcome of the search would likely not be a good one.  'We have been told by officials that this probably will not have a good outcome or not the outcome we had hoped for, for Jamison and Harmony to be reunited together,' Miller told Fox News Tuesday shortly after they completed the search. 'We have always held onto hope that Jamison and Harmony could be together again, but today that hope feels like it's being ripped away from us, especially Jamison.' It served as the second time investigators have searched the property. The family of...
FBI agents tasked with finding missing eight-year-old Harmony Montgomery were seen Tuesday removing a refrigerator wrapped in biohazard tape from a home previously linked to the girl's allegedly abusive father. Investigators were filmed rolling the refrigerator from the New Hampshire residence this afternoon, wrapping the home appliance in biohazard tape and loading it and a slew of other items into a truck. The domicile, located in Manchester on 644 Union Street, was once home to Harmony's father, Adam Montgomery, and  his estranged wife Kayla - Harmony's stepmom. Harmony, who was 5 at the time, disappeared between November 28 and December 10, 2019, while she was living with her dad at the residence, a second-floor apartment. The young girl had come into her father's care after her mother, Crystal Sorey, lost custody in July 2018 due to her substance abuse issues.  Authorities did not know she was missing until last fall. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Federal authorities are taking to the airwaves to call attention to unsolved homicide and missing person cases on the largest Native American reservation in the U.S. as several states are starting to funnel more resources and investigators toward solving such cases. The FBI on Tuesday announced it’s running a 60-second radio ad in the Navajo language to call attention to what family members and advocacy groups have described as a crisis that is affecting Indian Country. Airing twice a day on an AM radio station broadcasting from the Navajo capital of Window Rock, Arizona, the spot features a plea from the mother of Lee Michael Pahe, who was found fatally shot last summer in Naschitti, New Mexico. “You don’t have to understand Navajo to feel the emotion of the mother who speaks about the loss of her son in this ad,” Special Agent in Charge Raul Bujanda of the Albuquerque FBI Division said in a statement. “Violent crime affects everyone the same way, and everyone deserves justice.” The radio spot comes as New Mexico...
Mexican authorities announced the discovery of bodies inside a vehicle found at the bottom of a rainwater collection pond. The FBI’s primary focus throughout the investigation was to bring justice to Gabby and her family.               by Max Dorman   There is a new type of cyber-enabled fraud that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is warning the public about – missing persons scams using social media. Scammers use information posted about missing persons on social media websites to target and exploit the victim’s family and friends network. So, how does a Missing Persons Scam Work? It is common for scammers to only request small amounts of money as missing persons scams tend to be a quick cash-grab. In addition to small requests, scammers tend to express some level of urgency in the payment by claiming the victim is either injured or sick. In August 2020, a scammer targeted a mother who reported her 13-year-old daughter as missing on social media. The mother posted information on social media seeking assistance; however, that information was eventually used against her. Included in the online post was the mother’s personal phone number. According to the FBI’s Internet Crimes Complaint Center, scammers took advantage of this by calling the mother, claiming they had her daughter and required some ransom for her safe...

Jennifer Coffindaffer, a retired FBI agent, believes Laundrie's mum and dad - Chris and Roberta - could face charges. “I think the Laundries have possible culpability under 18 U.S.C. 3, which is accessory after the fact, and possibly 18 U.S.C. 1519, which is obstruction in terms of if they tampered with any evidence after that crime was committed,” Coffindaffer said, reports NewsNation Now. The silence by the FBI over whether it has recovered the gun used by Brian Laundrie to kill himself and why investigators did not reveal that he had a weapon in the first place has led to a backlash against the feds for not warning the public that Gabby Petito's deranged fiance was armed and dangerous during his month-long manhunt. Laundrie's body was found in Florida's Carlton Reserve on Oct. 20 and an autopsy Tuesday revealed that he died of a single bullet wound to the head. His family's lawyer Steve Bertolino told DailyMail.com on Wednesday that one of the family's guns was missing when Laundrie vanished on Sept. 13, but that the feds kept it secret because they didn't want the public to panic. While Laundrie's family was uncertain of the missing weapon's make and model, Bertolino said that it was definitely a pistol, and that the family definitely reported it missing. 'I don't know if [law enforcement] would mention that at the beginning - they found a body, they found possessions, that was it,' he said of the...
