YouTube daredevil and former Olympic snowboarder Trevor Jacob lost his private pilot's certificate after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) determined he purposely crashed an aircraft into the California hillside. The FAA launched an investigation into Jacob's crash after the social media personality posted a 13-minute-long video of himself parachuting out of a small plane that he alleged had malfunctioned. The agency has determined that Jacob 'violated federal aviation regulations' and operated the single-engine aircraft in a 'careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the life or property of another,' according to The New York Times, which reviewed an April 11 letter sent to the athlete from the FAA. Officials immediately revoked his private pilot certificate, ending his permission to operate any aircraft.  Jacob, 28, who competed in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, was seemingly unaware of the FAA's ruling, asking the newspaper Wednesday: 'Where’d you get that information?' He did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment.  Former Olympic snowboarder Trevor Jacob lost his private pilot's certificate after the Federal Aviation Administration determined he purposely crashed...

Now, the details about his life are coming to light. During a recent interview with The New York Post, the documentary's co-directors Phil Lott and Ari Mark offered their perspective on Betzner, who is actually still alive. “We see him as this sort of ‘Forrest Gump’ character, he’s everywhere,” Mark said of the 80-something-year-old former international smuggler. Despite filming the documentary, the directors have admitted that it is still difficult to break down who he really is; even after interviewing him multiple times. “He is as cagey about [his military service] as he is about anything...

With last month’s debut of the 37.5-mm Calatrava Pilot Travel Time ($48,495) in 18-k white gold, Patek Philippe proves that its retro aviator watch is equally at home on a woman’s wrist as it is on a man’s. Originally launched five years ago in a brawny 42-mm size, the sporty-retro Calatrava Pilot Travel Time took its cues from a pair of 1930s-era watches that now reside in the brand’s Geneva museum. Reinterpreted for the modern era, the updated model is designed to draw a new generation of younger, hipper Patek fans, who are more likely to wear a fine watch with jeans than a suit. The smaller version — with a practical, userfriendly dual-time-zone system for travelers — debuted in rose gold in 2018. Now available in white gold, it continues to expand the brand’s considerable bench of complicated watches for both genders. While conventional wisdom has long held that women prefer the convenience of quartz, Patek Philippe has bucked that trend, particularly in the last decade. In a 2009 milestone moment, the brand unveiled its long-awaited, in-house, manually winding...
