A FOOD brand has revealed that we’ve all been eating our burgers wrong - and, bizarrely, the right way to tuck into them is to turn them upside down. Burger company Fat Hippo has shared their hack to not only totally transform the taste of your favourite fast food, but also to make sure it never falls apart in your hands.  3Fat Hippo burgers have said you should flip your burger upside down to eat itCredit: Fat Hippo The independent burger restaurant group, which specialises in burgers and dirty fries, suggests that customers flip their burger in what they’re calling the “Upside Down Burger Hack”.  According to them, it means that the top side of the burger bun is considerably thicker than the bottom. This means the bun can absorb much more of the delicious burger’s juices and flavour - creating a fuller taste and ensuring less drips onto your plate.  Fat Hippo’s Executive Chef, Dickie Nelson, is backing the burger hack all the way and maintains that it’s guaranteed to blow customers’ minds.  He said: “We use a 60:40...
Almost every hour of every day of American popular culture is filled with real-time updates about the Kardashian family. Who is dating whom, whose marriage broke up, who is being sued. Fashion, plastic surgery, new reality shows, old reality shows, Kanye West's social media meltdowns, kids, more kids, the momager, makeup lines, shapewear lines, activism, cheating scandals. It is anything and everything you could possibly imagine in a real-life soap opera that we as a country have all been experiencing for almost 20 years. The Kardashians have become as ubiquitous in America as hot dogs, fireworks, The White House and political division. Love them or hate them, you cannot second guess their impact and complete and utter saturation of our media. Unfortunately, I have bad news for everyone who is sick of hearing and reading about this family: They are here to stay. They have survived, thrived and reinvented themselves during a time when so many icons, pop culture figures, artists, musicians, actors etc. have been incapable of doing so. On Saturday night, I witnessed first-hand a room full of...

We all know about the importance of doing exercise, but many of us struggle to find the time or motivation. So what is the least amount you can do and still see appreciable changes? Twenty minutes a day? Ten minutes? One minute? How about three seconds. Yes, extraordinary as that sounds (and I must admit I was gobsmacked when I first read the research), a recent study has shown that doing just three seconds a day of resistance exercise — that's exercise where you use your muscles to lift or pull something against resistance, such as weights — can measurably improve strength. How we phrase New Year's resolutions is key in determining whether or not the start-of-year promise will be adhered to, a new study suggests.  Scientists found people are 12 per cent more likely to stick to their resolution for a year if they avoid making vows such as 'I will quit...', or 'I will avoid...' and instead say 'I will start...'.  The world's largest ever study on New Year's resolutions tracked 1,066 people who made a promise at the end of 2017 for the approaching year.  This graph shows the amount of people who stuck to their New Year's resolutions over the course of 12 months. Those who had an 'approach goal' such as saying 'I will start...' instead of 'I will quit...' were 12 per cent more likely to be successful 12 months later   Less than half (47 per cent) of people who said they would either quit or avoid something were successful by the end of the year.  In contrast, 59 per cent of people who had an 'approach goal' were successful.     Researchers of the study from Stockholm...
When I was a child, we’d have dinner as a family every evening. If a telemarketer happened to phone the landline, my parents considered them extremely rude. How dare someone disturb our family time? Fast-forward 20 years and it’s all too common for meals to be punctuated by the constant ping of smartphone notifications — all ultimately designed to sell in the same way the tele- marketers did. I’ve spent the past three years working on The Social Dilemma, a film about what’s really going on in Silicon Valley and how social media is taking over our world. Larissa Rhodes, producer of The Social Dilemma, is warning people against over-suing social media and being glued to their smart phones (stock image) I’d previously worked on climate change-related projects for a decade, and I admit that, at first, I couldn’t see the rise of social media as an equal threat. But then we were given unprecedented access to a host of former employees at the world’s biggest tech companies, from Facebook to Twitter and Google. What they said terrified me....

Kim Zolciak-Biermann spiced up her Instagram timeline on Thursday afternoon with a provocative new photo of herself posing in a cheeky thong bikini. The Don’t Be Tardy star posed by standing on an outdoor balcony overlooking what appeared to be a residential street. The sassy reality star placed her hands upon her hips while looking out over the glass balustrade and the metal railing. Her swimwear was light green and floral-patterned, composed primarily of slender pieces of fabric and strings. Kim’s top tied in the back just above the dip in her lower back. She stood shoulder-width apart with her backside facing the camera, giving her 3.1 million followers a glorious view of her voluptuous booty and her deeply tanned skin. Aside from her rear, Kim’s chiseled back and shoulder muscles stood out, and her long blond hair was down, flowing freely down her side and back. According to People, Kim’s string bikini came from her own luxury sustainable swimwear line called Salty K, which she launched this past May. The article added that she had “shared another photo modeling...
