Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE Clash at the Castle on Sept. 3. WWE SummerSlam is in the rearview mirror, meaning that the focus will be on their next premium live event, which just so happens to take place on Labor Day weekend. That event will be Clash at the Castle, taking place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. We already know that Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at the show, but there was one new match added. Prior to the Aug. 5 episode of Smackdown, it was revealed that there would be a seven-woman gauntlet match. The winner would challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan at Clash at the Castle. Raquel Rodriguez went on a lengthy run, eliminating Sonya Deville, Shotzi, Xia Li, and Natalya to reach the final portion of the match. The last entrant was Shayna Baszler, who managed to pin Rodriguez after placing her in the Kirifuda Clutch submission. Now, she will face off against Morgan at Clash at the Castle.Updated match card for WWE...
Here is the updated WWE SummerSlam match card following the July 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. WWE SummerSlam is just around the corner, as Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. hosts the event on Saturday, July 30. There were already three matches confirmed prior to July 8, including another match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. But now, the card has grown with two more matches added after the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. SmackDown Women’s champion Liv Morgan had an interview in the ring with Michael Cole, where they discussed how she defeated Ronda Rousey for the title at the Money in the Bank premium live event. Natalya then interrupted but was confronted by Rousey. During the in-ring segment, Rousey told Morgan that it is easier to challenge for the championship than defend it. Rousey then defeated Natalya in a match shortly afterward WWE’s official Twitter account confirmed that Morgan would be defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rousey at SummerSlam. It is official! New #SmackDown Womens Champion @YaOnlyLivvOnce will defend her title against @RondaRousey at #SummerSlam!https://t.co/hoQdTNKI6U pic.twitter.com/rRppFnVGoL...
Following the June 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, here is what the match card for WWE’s Money in the Bank premium live event looks like. WWE is holding a premium live event on July 4 weekend. This Saturday, July 2, Money in the Bank emanates from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Of course, this will be headlined by the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches, where the winner will earn a championship match whenever and where they want for the next year. The only way to win is to grab the briefcase that is hanging above the ring. With the show just days away, the match card was filled out a bit further during the June 27 episode of Monday Night Raw. To start the show, there was a last chance, over-the-top-rope battle royal to see who would take the sixth spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The final two participants were Riddle and The Miz, the latter of whom faked a knee injury to make it to...
Here is the updated match card for WWE Hell in a Cell following the May 30 edition of Monday Night Raw. The build to WWE’s Hell in a Cell premium live event has been heavy on the Raw side. So it should not be a surprise that two more matches from the Monday night brand have been added to the match card for Hell in a Cell, scheduled for Sunday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. One of those matches will be a six-person tag team match. Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, aka Judgment Day, take on A.J. Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan. The feud escalated at WrestleMania Backlash after Ripley helped give Edge the win over Styles for the second consecutive premium live event. On Raw, Ripley took on her former tag team partner in Morgan, and ended up on the losing end. After some post-match shenanigans, it was Morgan, Styles and Balor who stood tall over Judgement Day Statement made. @AJStylesOrg @FinnBalor @YaOnlyLivvOnce #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/V6b8IUhqkt — WWE (@WWE)...
Here is how the match card for the Hell in a Cell premium live event looks like following the May 23 episode of Monday Night Raw. WWE Hell in a Cell takes place on Sunday, June 5 from Chicago, Ill. Given how close the premium live event is approaching, fans have to be wondering if the match card has grown since last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, where it was revealed Cody Rhodes would face Seth “Freakin'” Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match and Asuka would challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship. The answer to that is yes. After defeating Becky Lynch last week, Asuka was slated to challenge Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair at Hell in a Cell. But, Lynch found a way to get another title shot, as Adam Pearce revealed that in the main event, she would face Asuka again. If Lynch were to win, the Raw Women’s Championship match would be turned into a triple threat match. Lynch managed to pick up the win. After approaching Belair, who was seated at...
There was one huge change to a major match scheduled for WrestleMania Backlash during the Apr. 29 episode of SmackDown. On the Apr. 29 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE decided to make a major change to what was a huge title match at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8. The Winner Take All Tag Team Championship Unification match has been changed. The Uso’s and RK-Bro held a contract signing, but it ended up in a brawl. A brawl at a WWE contract signing? We know, shocker. But, Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns entered to help out his cousins in taking out Randy Orton and Riddle. Drew McIntyre then evened up the odds and had a stare down with Reigns before throwing hands. Tensions are on the rise as The @WWEUsos and #RKBRO sign on the dotted line on #SmackDown! @RandyOrton @SuperKingofBros @WWERomanReigns @HeymanHustle @DMcIntyreWWE pic.twitter.com/c630cBHcKW — WWE (@WWE) April 30, 2022 Backstage, Paul Heyman spoke with WWE official Adam Pearce and suggested that the Winner Take All Tag Team Championship Unification match be changed to a six-man tag...
One new match was added to the WrestleMania Backlash card after the Apr. 25 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. The next WWE premium live event that is approaching on the calendar is WrestleMania Backlash. Following the Apr. 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, there was one new match added to the card, and it is a WrestleMania 38 rematch. Bobby Lashley took on Omos in an arm-wrestling match. Even with Lashley’s former manager, MVP, antagonizing him on the mic, “The All Mighty” brought Omos’ hand to the pad to get the win. However, Omos attacked Lashley afterwards, where he crushed him with a table. Way to be a sore loser @TheGiantOmos… #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/fnmOonglG5 — WWE (@WWE) April 26, 2022 Omos wanted a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash, and it was made official during RawTalk. While there were no other new matches added, it was quite the eventful Raw. Randy Orton celebrated his 20th anniversary in WWE, where he teamed with Riddle, Cody Rhodes and Ezekiel to defeat Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and The Uso’s (Jimmy and Jey). The end...
Here is what the WrestleMania Backlash match card looks like after the Apr. 18 episode of Monday Night Raw. WWE is a couple of weeks removed from WrestleMania, which means it is time to prepare for the company’s next premium live event. The name of that event is WrestleMania Backlash, which will take place on Saturday, May 8, live from Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI. There were three matches added to the event’s card during last week’s editions of Raw and SmackDown. Seth Rollins challenged Cody Rhodes to a rematch from WrestleMania. Ronda Rousey is taking on Charlotte Flair once again for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but this time in an I Quit match. RK-Bro accepted the challenge by The Uso’s and will take them on in a Winner Take All, Tag Team Championship Unification match. In terms of the card, there was one new match added to the show on the Apr. 18 episode of Raw. Edge, after defeating Styles at WrestleMania due to a distraction by Damian Priest, issued a challenge at WrestleMania Backlash. Later on in...
There were three more matches added to the WrestleMania 38 card following the March 28 episode of Monday Night Raw. It is officially WrestleMania week, and the big two-night event is just days away. March 28 was not a regular episode of Monday Night Raw, it was dubbed “WrestleMania Raw.” But on the show, three more matches were added to the “most stupendous two-night WrestleMania in history.” Let’s start with the one match that was added during Raw. Omos defeated the Viking Raiders by count-out in a two-on-one handicap match. Following a post-match interview by Omos, former WWE champion Bobby Lashley made his return for the first time since the Elimination Chamber event in February. After attempting to take down Omos, Lashley was eventually successful after running the ropes and hitting the giant with a shoulder block. Later in the night, Lashley vs. Omos was made official for WrestleMania Sunday. Here is the updated WrestleMania 38 match card following the March 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. WrestleMania 38 is just a couple of weeks away, and for those of you wondering if there were any new matches added to the two-night card on the March 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, that was not the case. Rather, there were to changes made to scheduled bouts on the show. Earlier in the night, Sami Zayn issued an additional challenge to his rival, Jackass star Johnny Knoxville, and that was to make their scheduled contest on Sunday, Apr. 3 an Anything Goes Match. Knoxville responded in a pre-recorded video message, and accepted. Sasha Banks and Naomi took on fellow challengers to the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan on SmackDown. The match would not end with a conclusive result, as Shayna Baszler and Natalya attacked both teams and received help from the champs, Carmella and Queen Zelina. Here is what the WrestleMania 38 card looks like after the March 14 episode of Monday Night Raw. WrestleMania 38 in Arlington, Texas is a matter of a couple of weeks away, and the card for both nights was starting to take shape. Last week, Kevin Owens invited Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin to appear at the “KO Show” at WrestleMania. Days later, Austin epically responded with a resounding yes. On Raw, Owens addressed Austin accepting his invitation, and decided to give the in-ring cameraman a Stunner. "And thats the bottom line, cause K-O said so." Message sent by @FightOwensFight on #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/3J9Sh0rGjf — WWE (@WWE) March 15, 2022 Owens met with tag team partner Seth Rollins, who does not have a match at WrestleMania after the duo did not win the Raw Tag Team Championships last week, backstage. Rollins then pitched a match with Owens, with the winner having Austin on...
Here is what the WrestleMania 38 card looks like following the March 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. WrestleMania 38 is only getting closer and closer, as the two night event takes place Apr. 2-3 live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. On the March 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, there was one new match added to the card. Tag Team Champions, the Uso’s, were challenged by Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs to a match at WrestleMania. They would earn that match if they were to defeat them in tag team action. Sure enough, Nakamura and Boogs won, but they were attacked afterwards. The title match will be taking place at the “Grandest Stage of Them All.” NOT THE GUITAR! ???? #SmackDown @WWEUsos @rickboogswwe @ShinsukeN pic.twitter.com/OvmBmOMwjd — WWE (@WWE) March 12, 2022 Other than that, rivalries were furthered during the show. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair brawled with challenger Ronda Rousey backstage, with Flair slamming Rousey on the hood of a car. There were new matches added to the WrestleMania 38 card during the March 4 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. WrestleMania 38 is less than a month away and there were two new matches added to the card on the March 4 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The show opened up with Sami Zayn defending his newly-won Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet. Zayn became distracted when the Jackass theme song hit the arena sound system and his foe Johnny Knoxville walked down the ramp and stood on the ring apron. As Zayn went for the Helluva Kick, Knoxville ducked, which allowed Ricochet to capitalize to pick up the victory and the title. Okay @realjknoxville, we see you ????! #SmackDown @SamiZayn @KingRicochet pic.twitter.com/An4hBKBczj — WWE (@WWE) March 5, 2022 An incensed Zayn wreaked havoc backstage, before looking into the camera and issued a WrestleMania challenge to Knoxville. Here is how the WrestleMania 38 card looks following the Feb. 28 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. For WWE fans wanting to see a more clearer picture for WrestleMania 38, the Feb. 28 episode of Monday Night Raw did just that. In the main event segment, Edge’s WrestleMania challenge that he issued the previous week was answered by “The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles. The dream match is finally happening, but there was a twist. Edge verbally berated Styles, kicked him below the belt, and hit him with two con-chair-to’s, cementing his status as a heel in this feud. Additionally, Women’s Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina and Carmella responded to Naomi and Sasha Banks declaring themselves the future titleholders on the Feb. 25 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The Tag Team Champions said they accept the challenge, setting up their match at the big show. Here is how the match card for the two-night WrestleMania 38 is looking thus far.Edge vs. A.J. At Elimination Chamber, The Miz revealed that he would be bringing in a tag team partner to challenge Rey and Dominik Mysterio at “the Grandest Stage of Them All.” On Raw, Miz unveiled that he would be teaming up with social media star and celebrity boxer Logan Paul, which the Mysterio’s accepted. Miz and Paul then laid out the Mysterio’s to stand tall. Additionally, “the Rated R Superstar” Edge made his return after he and Beth Phoenix defeated Miz and Maryse at the Royal Rumble. While sitting on a chair, Edge talked about the importance of competing at WrestleMania, and laid down the challenge to anyone in the locker room to step up and face him at the big show. Alexa Bliss was announced as the final confirmed entrant in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on the Feb. 14 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. The Elimination Chamber premium live event takes place this Saturday, and WWE used the Feb. 14 edition of Monday Night Raw to further fill out the match card. The Women’s Elimination Chamber match highlighted this episode of RAW, as Bianca Belair won a gauntlet match against Rhea Ripley, Doudrop, Liv Morgan and Nikki A.S.H. to earn the right to exit her pod last. But later on, a segment aired with Alexa Bliss being “cured” after her meetings in therapy. As Bliss left, she announced that she will fill the vacant spot left in the match. Whoever wins the Women’s Elimination Chamber match will face the winner of the Becky Lynch vs. Lita match for the Raw Women’s Championship. Another match added to the card was The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio. The Miz interfered and cost Rey and Dominik Mysterio’s tag bout against Raw Tag Team Champions Alpha Academy. Afterward, Maryse slapped Rey Mysterio and Miz...
One new match featuring Ronda Rousey was added to the WWE Elimination Chamber card following the Feb. 11 episode of SmackDown. The Feb. 11 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown has concluded, meaning that the WWE is one week away from their Elimination Chamber premium live event. The card already features two Elimination Chamber matches and four championship bouts in total. If you thought it was impossible the card could not get any more stacked, it did. Charlotte Flair defeated Naomi in a spectacular main event to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship. After the match, Sonya Deville entered the ring to attack Naomi alongside Flair, only to be stopped by 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey. After the show went off the air, WWE officially announced that Rousey and Naomi will team up to take on Flair and Deville at Elimination Chamber. Here is the updated match card for WWE Day 1 after the Dec. 13 episode of Monday Night Raw. The WWE Day 1 is a couple of weeks away, and we are getting a much clearer picture of the full match card on the first pay-per-view event of 2022. After the conclusion of the Dec. 13 edition of Monday Night RAW, there is one massive change to one of the main matches of the show and a new championship bout added to the card. Bobby Lashley has been added to the WWE Title match between champion Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, after he defeated all three of them on Monday night in separate singles matches. Now, it will be a Fatal Four Way match for one of the top championships in the company. Additionally, Liv Morgan gets her rematch against RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at Day 1. Lynch won their main event match on the Dec. 6 edition of RAW, where she grabbed the ropes during a roll-up when the referee was not looking. But how does...
WWE Survivor Series 2021 is now less than a week away and, after the go-home episode of Raw, let’s take a look at the updated match card. Monday’s episode of Raw, though it may not have seemed like it, was actually the final three hours of the show’s programming before WWE Survivor Series 2021 on Sunday. It’s been a weird build-up to the PPV event but it is most definitely upon us. Adding to the strangeness of WWE Survivor Series and the lead-in for the show is the fact that the company is leaning full-on into the Raw vs. SmackDown theme with virtually every match. There are four champion vs. champion matches from each brand in addition to Raw vs. SmackDown tradition Survivor Series matches. Speaking of that, we saw some shuffling there on Monday with Rey Mysterio being replaced on Team Raw by Austin Theory. What else has happened to the Survivor Series match card after the go-home episode of Raw? Let’s take a look.WWE Survivor Series 2021 match card after go-home Raw 5-on-5 Men’s Survivor Series Elimination...
WWE Survivor Series 2021 is less than two weeks away and we take a look at the match card after the Nov. 8 episode of Raw on Monday night. Of all the pay-per-views, particularly the Big Four, WWE Survivor Series is one of the most unique. Specifically, there is rarely a huge buildup on Raw and SmackDown leading up to the PPV. Instead, the red brand and the blue brand, SmackDown, are often pitted against one another. That certainly seems as if it’s going to be the case for WWE Survivor Series 2021. There won’t be any big-time title matches for the top-ranking champions in the men’s and women’s divisions. However, as we saw on the Nov. 8 episode of RAW, that doesn’t mean each passing show leading up to the big event won’t give us a better look at the upcoming PPV. With that in mind, there were a pair of huge matches announced during Raw on Monday night, so let’s take a look at the updated Survivor Series match card after Nov. 8.WWE Survivor Series 2021 match card...
