    OAKLAND — A 29-year-old man walked into a Pill Hill hospital Wednesday night with multiple gunshot wounds and police are trying to determine where the shooting happened, authorities said. Before undergoing surgery, the man only told hospital security staff  the shooting occurred somewhere in Oakland, authorities said.  The man was in stable condition after the surgery and investigators plan to interview him when he is able. The man came to the hospital about 9:05 p.m. Wednesday on foot and was not dropped off by anyone in a vehicle, authorities said. About the same time there was a report of gunshots in the 3500 block of Telegraph Avenue, which is near the hospital, authorities said. But there was no ShotSpotter activation in the area and officers could not find any shell casings there or any buildings or parked vehicles that were hit  by gunfire.     WEST TOWN — Exit, a dive bar that’s been home to Chicago’s punk music scene since the ’80s, was shut down by the city last week due to allegedly “dangerous and hazardous” conditions inside the club. Investigators from the city’s Department of Buildings’ Strategic Task Force inspected Exit, 1315 W. North Ave., on Aug. 6 and immediately shut down the club with an emergency closure order, according to Mimi Simon, a spokesperson for the department. Conditions inside the bar included “obstructed egress areas, expired fire extinguishers, lack of fire resistant materials in certain areas, improperly stored gas tanks, exposed electrical wiring and unsanitary conditions throughout the property,” Simon said. Exit will remain closed until the building owner remediates all violations, Simon said.
