Not holding back: Tim Allen has slammed the Toy Story spin-off film Lightyear after the conservative star was replaced Interesting: Chris Evans took over the role of Buzz Lightyear in the origin story prequel, as he is pictured with a statue of the character in London earlier this month 'We talked about this many years ago…but the brass that did the first four movies is not this. It's a whole new team that really had nothing to do with the first movies.' He went on to say that he did not originally think the film would be animated like the previous Toy Story films and that it was actually live-action. RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 2 Next David...
Neil W. McCabe, the national political editor of The Star News Network, interviewed former Republican Ohio congressman Jim Renacci about his new position leading the American Greatness Fund. Renacci said he was joining the fund so that he could help revive the MAGA movement and create scorecards to hold politicians accountable to the voters. https://youtu.be/hEisQFHrHEY TRANSCRIPT McCabe: Conservative voters across the country all have the same complaint: candidates who campaign as conservatives and then, once in office, spend their time blocking the conservative agenda. Former Republican Ohio Congressman Jim Renacci told The Ohio Star and The Star News Network how the American Greatness Fund is going to fix that. Renacci: There is plenty of frustration with conservative voters. We elect somebody who can be a Republican, we believe a conservative, and then they go down the path and they vote for a gun bill. McCabe: Renacci, whose 300,000 votes in the Ohio Republican gubernatorial primary nearly outpolled the total of the winner of the primary on the Democratic side set. The fund has already started its Texas scorecard, and the scorecards...
NASHVILLE, Tennessee – Billboard chart-topping conservative hip-hop artist Topher has a simple message that he shared with The Tennessee Star in an exclusive interview for Americans going through tough times due to the Biden administration’s disastrous governance of our nation: “keep the faith.” Topher emphasized to The Star that Americans need to rely on God and that conservatives are not alone in their beliefs. “Keep the faith, you know. God is the answer to all the things that we have going on today. Especially being a country that was founded on Judeo-Christian values, I think it’s important for us to understand that core is what made America great,” he said. “If we’re ever going to get back to that time where everyone was flourishing, enjoying their life, and living the American Dream – even though we can still live it today despite the circumstances – we need to rely on God,” said the artist. “That’s also what makes this country so awesome – even when we’re down we’re still up. It’s crazy. Just keep the faith. Understand that you are...
Republican Pennsylvania Senate hopeful David McCormick is insisting that he can still win the commonwealth's GOP primary despite former President Donald Trump's endorsement of Dr. Mehmet Oz.   'I think President Trump's endorsement is certainly a big deal, but I think the really big deal is that Mehmet is not a conservative, and not an America First conservative,' McCormick told radio host Rich Zeoli on Monday. 'And so I'm running for office here to convince the people in Pennsylvania that I'm going to be the guy that's going to fight for them in Washington and make sure that agenda, that America First agenda, becomes a reality.'  McCormick suggested Oz received Trump's endorsement because of their 'friendship' and not because they're necessarily politically aligned.   'I think that he was good friends with Mehmet Oz, knew him through Oz's Hollywood TV career, and they also have homes near one another in Palm Beach in Florida, so I think there was a real friendship there,' McCormick said.   McCormick said he respected Trump.  'He's incredibly popular in Pennsylvania as you know well, and has a huge following among conservatives. Mehmet...
Fox News star Lisa Marie Boothe was in talks to replace Meghan McCain as the conservative pundit on The View but refused to get a Covid-19 vaccine. Boothe, 36, was interviewed by ABC News executives earlier this year but the discussions fell apart after she made clear that she would not get the jabs required by the broadcaster. ABC News' parent company, Disney, requires all U.S. employees be vaccinated against Covid, and the New York studio where The View is filmed now also mandates jabs for all workers. Fox only requires vaccines for employees at its Big Apple headquarters and Boothe is currently based in Miami. Williams is eyeing a seat at the table at ABC's The View, but it's not Meghan McCain's chair that she's looking to fill, DailyMail.com has learned.  The reality star apparently has her sights set on replacing veteran panelist Sunny Hostin and is confident that she's a worthy contender, according to inside sources.   Eboni was welcomed as a guest co-host on the daytime talk show last week as the network seeks to replace McCain after the conservative TV personality's abrupt departure in August.  But the 37-year-old reality star has reportedly already ruffled some feathers at ABC after word spread that she's actually gunning for Hostin's job.  'There is only one vacant chair at this show - and it's Meghan's,' an insider at the daytime talk show told DailyMail.com.  'We all rolled our eyes when Eboni told Entertainment Tonight at the Housewives book launch last week that she wants a permanent seat at The View's table.'  Eboni K. Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Disney CEO Bob Chapek has weighed in on the company’s decision to fire Gina Carano from The Mandalorian over her controversial social media posts. Carano was fired from the Disney+ series last month after suggesting that being a present day Republican is similar to being Jewish during the Holocaust. During Disney’s annual shareholder meeting on Tuesday, one stockholder pointed out that in 2018, another Mandalorian star, Pedro Pascal, compared undocumented children in cages to Jews in concentration camps. The stockholder then suggested there was a double standard and that Carano was kicked off because she’s a conservative. Chapek responded by saying he doesn’t “really see Disney as characterizing itself as left-leaning or right-leaning.” The CEO added that the decision to fire Carano was not about politics, but about “values that are universal: respect, decency, integrity and inclusion and we seek to have the content that we make reflective of the rich diversity of the world we live in. And I think that’s a world we should all live in harmony and peace.” Lucasfilm, which is owned...
Gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin announced Tuesday he is creating a Virginia Wins PAC to fund Republican political candidates across the ballot in Virginia. “Youngkin’s investment and fundraising will build a team of local and statewide Republican leaders to restore the Commonwealth, and counter the liberal agenda driven in Virginia by George Soros, who in recent years funded left-wing candidates and efforts aimed at transforming school boards and prosecutor offices,” a campaign press release states. “Virginia Wins PAC will support Republican candidates for every level of government, including local school board, Commonwealth’s attorney, county sheriff, board of supervisors, state delegate, state senator, and the U.S. Congress. The effort will help elect the next wave of Republican leaders through a broad base of campaign, media, and financial assistance,” the release states. The release called the PAC a “long-term, seven-figure commitment and fundraising effort.” A spokesperson didn’t clarify how much was being initially invested in the PAC. A longtime GOP consultant who declined to be named told The Virginia Star, “If he was really serious about...
Bill Burr is speaking out in support of his former Mandalorian co-star Gina Carano, three weeks after she was fired from the Disney+ series for expressing her political views.  The conservative actress, 38, was let go by bosses on February 11 after she shared a social media post comparing the current political climate to that of Nazi Germany.  Fans of Carano claim she is a victim of cancel culture at the hands of a vocal  'woke mob'  - and many have come to her defense.  Her supporters include comedian Joe DeRosa who appeared on Burr's Bill Bert podcast last Wednesday to discuss the issue - prompting Burr to express support for his former co-star. DeRosa stated: 'You can say that her post was stupid or clumsy, but the reaction to it was so crazy. 'Whether you agree, disagree, whatever, I just don't get this place that we're in where there's no room for discussion about anything.  Burr - who plays Miggs Mayfield on the Star Wars spin-off series - concurred, saying: 'It's a weird time... She [Carano] was an absolute sweetheart....
Rush Limbaugh’s widow Kathryn is set to inherit the $51million Palm Beach property he called his permanent home after quitting New York City in 2010, according to reports. Limbaugh, who died on Wednesday aged 70 after a year-long battle with lung cancer, first picked up the estate as a vacation home in 1998 for only $3.98million, Fox Business reports. According to a recent estimate on Zillow, the property is now worth almost 13 times as much after he and his 44-year-old wife transformed the property when they decided to relocate for good. The couple added three additional structures to the house, originally built in 1992, after buying up surrounding land. Limbaugh also relocated his business and radio show to Florida, which he hosted just a mile away from the house, and he was located close to friend President Donald Trump whose Mar a Lago estate is along the same eight-lime Palm Beach stretch.  The $51million Palm Beach property where Rush Limbaugh lived since 2010 Reports say widow Kathryn will inherit the home after his death Wednesday. Colin Clark said he had been personally encouraged by Douglas Ross, the Scottish Tory leader, to put himself forward for the Scottish Parliament elections in May. However, a controversial committee chaired by Ms Davidson set up to vet candidates, which has become known as the ‘star chamber’, blocked his bid to be put forward to members as a regional list candidate.               At a second Nashville-based “Stop the Steal” rally, hundreds of Trump supporters descended on the Tennessee State Capitol grounds downtown. Every person wore the hallmark shade of MAGA red. American flags waved alongside deep blue “Trump 2020” or “Keep America Great” flags. Cars decked out with patriotic and pro-Trump flags, stickers, and signs looped the capitol, blaring their horns as they passed. Some wore masks while others chose not to. All throughout the event, the crowd would chorus chants of “Stop the steal!”, “We love Trump!”, or “Four more years!” Despite the reason behind the rally, the atmosphere was cheerful and confident. The organizers would pause between scheduled speakers to announce they’d found a lost license, or to hand out free copies of the Constitution to teenagers in attendance. The rally began with a prayer, followed by a rendition of the National Anthem from singer, actress, and conservative activist Joy Villa. Villa has received both criticism and praise for her pro-Trump and pro-life dresses at celebrity events, such as the Grammy Awards. State...
