According to the NY Times, doctors from Boston University announced on July 5 that Thomas, who spent nine seasons with the Denver Broncos, was posthumously diagnosed with Stage 2 Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Demaryius Thomas, a star NFL player, had CTE when he died in December at 33, doctors announced.
