MUM-OF-ONE Emily Anderson, from Nottingham, normally never drinks… until Christmas Day. Then she boozes away with the best of ‘em - starting at 5am.  3Emily reckons that half the country does the same thing as her at Christmas, and gets 'slightly pickled'Credit: Supplied People say it’s bonkers, but she is PROUD.  The 25-year-old event planner now shares her story with Fabulous. REACHING for a painkiller, I quickly swallow it down. My head is pounding and I desperately need more sleep - but I’m not sick. Instead I have the mother of all hangovers.  I’m suffering from what I’ve termed ‘Boxing Day despair’. It’s all my own fault… but I’m proud.  It started yesterday morning at 5am when I cracked open the Bucks Fizz.  By 9.30am I was drunk and missed Christmas dinner - people said it was ‘sad’ but I didn’t care.  I work all year, planning events from parties to hen dos and stags for other people.  It means I never normally get the chance to drink. I miss the laughter, jokes, freedom and not having to...

Simone Biles' NFL star boyfriend Jonathan Owens has made a thinly-veiled jab at those who criticized the gymnast's decision to pull out of the team and all-around finals at the Tokyo Olympics in order to 'focus on her mental health'.  The 26-year-old Houston Texans player appeared to hit out at his girlfriend's critics on his Instagram Stories, where he posted a quote from baseball legend Babe Ruth, which said, in part: 'The loudest boos will always come from the cheap seats.'  Although Owens, who is currently taking part in his team's training camp ahead of the start of the NFL season, did not tag his girlfriend, the timing of the post - which came in the wake of Biles' shock decision to pull out of the team final - made clear its intent.  Biles sparked furious controversy on Tuesday when she suddenly withdrew from the team final after making a surprise error on her first event, later revealing that she made the decision to pull out of a desire to prioritize her mental health - and out of fear that...
Loveland, Colorado, police are under fire as video footage continues to surface in connection with a lawsuit. Last year, Loveland police officers violently arrested a 73-year-old woman with dementia, resulting in worsened dementia symptoms as well as a fracture in her arm and a dislocated shoulder.  As Karen Garner’s family fights for justice, a new video depicts the cruelty of the officers involved in the incident. In a video released Monday by Garner’s family attorney, Loveland officers can be seen watching the body-cam footage of the incident and laughing. “Ready for the pop?” an officer identified by Garner’s lawyer as Austin Hopp said to other officers while rewatching the footage. “What popped?” another officer asked. “I think it was her shoulder,” Hopp responded. The newly released video is from the day of the incident and depicts officers in the booking area as they laughed about the arrest and Garner sat handcuffed to a bench in a nearby cell, The Denver Post reported. In it, Hopp continues to gloat about the incident and can be heard saying, “I can’t believe I threw a 73-year-old on the ground.” Multiple officers can...
