Anthony Weiner has been spotted in New York City just hours after news broke that his ex-wife Huma Abedin is reportedly dating Hollywood star Bradley Cooper. The former US representative and convicted sex offender cut a simple figure with khaki short pants, sneakers and a green shirt as he enjoyed good weather on Wednesday.  The 57-year-old disgraced New York congressman was snapped renting a Citibike.  His outing in the Big Apple comes amid news that his ex-wife and Cooper are reportedly dating after being set up by Anna Wintour. The rumored power couple have been seeing each other for several months in secret, according to Page Six, and even arrived at the Met Gala together in May before parting ways to keep their affair under wraps.  Abedin, 46, formerly a top aide to Hillary Clinton, and Bradley, 47, are both good friends of the longtime Vogue editor, 72. Weiner, whose sexting with a 15-year-old girl led to a conviction as sex offender, had remained out of the public eye for the most part in recent years.  That changed last month, when...
In the category of “odd pairings,” Hollywood star Bradley Cooper is reportedly dating Huma Abedin, the ex-wife of Anthony Weiner and former aide to Hillary Clinton. Bradley Cooper has been seeing Huma Abedin for several months in secret after being set up by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, according to a report in Page Six. “Anna definitely played matchmaker,” a source told Page Six. “She’s BFFs with Bradley and adores Huma.” The source reportedly said Abedin had confided that she was in a relationship, but was keeping the identity of the “new man” in her life a secret. “She didn’t say who it was. She was keeping it very close to her chest.” The new couple reportedly arrived at the Met Gala in New York together in May but weren’t photographed together. Huma Abedin was married to disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), who was sentenced to nearly two years in jail in 2017 for sexting a minor. The couple married in 2010 and had a son together. They separated following Weiner’s conviction. It remains unclear if they are still married. Huma Abedin, who...
The first episode of disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner’s new podcast “about the problems facing New York City and the power of ideas” promised to “kick off with the hot issue of the moment, crime.” So, as a convicted felon and registered sex offender who did 21 months in federal prison for sending obscene material to a minor, Weiner might have been expected to at least mention his own crime in the premiere of Keys to the City. But Weiner makes only oblique references to any troubles he has had with the criminal justice system. And he offers no insights he may have gained from his time behind bars, followed by a halfway house and probation. At Weiner’s sentencing in 2017, Manhattan federal judge Denise Cote suggested he could provide “a true public service” by helping others understand what she described as “a disease that involves sexual compulsivity.” Instead, Weiner’s podcast offered a tired idea about making public data regarding “stop, question and frisk” by the NYPD, which would only affirm what everybody already knows. Weiner could have been back...

CNN has been conducting internal investigations for months now that have resulted in the firing of ex-anchor Chris Cuomo and the resignations of both Zucker and Gollust, and have revealed multiple issues relating to the three. Zucker resigned earlier this month after he failed to disclose a consensual relationship with Gollust. She resigned this week at the conclusion of the internal investigation. In the wake of Gollust’s resignation, both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal have new reporting on some of what those investigations revealed, including that Gollust reportedly coordinated with her former boss, Andrew Cuomo, on questions he’d be asked on-air on CNN. Those stories quote statements from a spokesperson, identified by the New York Times as Risa Heller, CEO of Risa Heller Communications. Heller, who got her start working...

Huma Abedin discussed her new memoir, Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds, sharing that learning the truth about her ex-husband's scandal felt like a "bolt of lighting." CNN’s Dana Bash asked Abedin about the details of her former marriage and managing the days after the news of Weiner sending sexually explicit photos first broke. “I was in such shock,” Abedin said. “You know, and anger, too. These were supposed to be these blissful days enjoying being, you know, parents, about to bring a child into the world.” Abedin, a longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, was married to former congressman and New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner until 2018. “It took him a few days to come around, telling the truth,” Abedin said. “In that moment, I just felt a bolt of lightning just from the top of my head … and I walked outside. My immediate reaction was, you have constituents. You are responsible to people. You have to tell everybody the truth.” Abedin said she remembers being in disbelief. “He...
Huma Abedin and estranged husband Anthony Weiner were spotted strolling together in New York City in rare photos this week, just days before her highly anticipated book is released.  Abedin was seen carrying a bag while walking the city with Weiner on Wednesday and talking on her cellphone. Both were wearing casual clothing, with Weiner, the former New York congressman, sporting a navy blue sweatshirt.  The couple married in 2010, and Abedin announced their separation in 2016 following Weiner’s sexting scandals involving an underage girl and others. (Elder Ordonez / SplashNews.com) Weiner was a rising star in the Democratic Party until he resigned from Congress in 2011, admitting to exchanging "messages and photos of an explicit nature with about six women."  He tried to get his star power back in 2013 with a New York City mayoral run, but it was then revealed he was sending explicit photos to a young woman while using the fake name "Carlos Danger." His scandals snowballed from...

Abedin said the assault happened after a dinner attended by “a few senators and their aides,” adding that Clinton was not there. She wrote: “I ended up walking out with one of the senators, and soon we stopped in front of his building and he invited me in for coffee. “Once inside, he told me to make myself comfortable on the couch.” According...
An Indiana woman who helped to end the political career of former New York congressman and mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has used her infamy to launch a porn career, and now promoting cryptocurrency designed for sex workers. Sydney Leathers, 31, said that her high profile following the 2013 scandal made porn an obvious choice. And she likened herself to Monica Lewinsky, who also found herself painted as the villain when she - unmarried, single, in her early 20s - became involved with a married man. 'That's obviously a super upsetting, a terrible experience, especially for a young woman, and especially in something that's like a sex scandal kind of thing, even though there was no sex involved,' Leathers told the website Business of Business. Sydney Leathers, 31, told the website Business of Business how she launched her porn career after the 2013 sexting scandal which brought down New York mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner Weiner, 56, is seen in May 2019 leaving a federal courthouse where the probation department is located. He visited his probation officer a day after leaving...
Anthony Weiner, the disgraced former New York mayoral frontrunner, is considering selling the tweet that cost him his political career. In 2011 while serving in Congress, Weiner accidentally posted a sexually explicit image intended to be sent to a 21-year-old female college student on his public Twitter feed. He initially claimed his account had been hacked, but after Breitbart published additional suggestive images of him, Weiner eventually took responsibility and soon after resigned from Congress. In 2013, Weiner faced another sexting scandal during his mayoral bid, which caused his favorability to plummet. Even after his campaign ended with less than 5% of the vote, Weiner’s scandals continued, and in 2017, he pled guilty to one count of sending obscene material to a 15-year-old girl. The New York Times report on Sunday revealed he is in a 12-step program for sex addiction and running a Brooklyn company that makes environmentally sustainable countertops. His company, IceStone, offers interviews to formerly incarcerated individuals, and he hopes to turn it into a “worker-run cooperative.” Weiner’s reputation and registered sex offender status have made...
The 'sugar daddy' website adored by the rich and powerful - including a disgraced New York Congressman, a hotshot Virginia lawyer and Tiger Woods' former mistress - has found itself back in the spotlight after Rep. Matt Gaetz became tied to the website.  The dating site SeekingArrangement was used by Gaetz's ally and former tax collector Joel Greenberg to meet women for sex, it is claimed.  Greenberg then introduced the women to Gaetz who allegedly paid them via Apple Pay for ecstasy-fueled sex at Florida hotel, according to a bombshell report about the Justice Department sex trafficking probe. The damning allegations were revealed in a New York Times report Thursday night which cited several unnamed sources close to the DOJ investigation as well as text messages and payment receipts reviewed by the outlet.  SeekingArrangement is one 'sugar daddy' website used by Greenberg, where rich men pay women in gifts, travel, fine dining and allowances in exchange for going on dates with them, investigators said.  The site, which caters for so-called 'sugar babies' and 'sugar daddies', was at the center of another political...
Jeffrey Toobin shares something else in common with Anthony Weiner besides allegedly not being able to keep it in his pants — a filmed cameo appearance together for an Amazon show. The New Yorker staff writer, suspended for allegedly masturbating during a Zoom work call last week, and Weiner, who resigned from Congress amid an X-rated sexting scandal in 2011, both popped up in a scene taped for the finale of the political comedy “Alpha House’’ in 2014. Weiner was playing himself in the scene for the series, which was written by “Doonesbury’’ comic-strip creator Garry Trudeau and lasted two seasons. A photo from the taping shows a grim-faced Weiner leaning into the camera while Toobin is turned to the side. Toobin — a prolific 60-year-old author, Harvard Law School grad and CNN’s top legal analyst — was accused Monday of masturbating during an online video meeting with fellow New Yorker stars, as well as workers from WNYC public radio. He later admitted to the Web site Vice that he had “made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera.’’...
An FBI agent who found the messages that led to the Hillary Clinton email investigation being reopened days before the 2016 election said the way the bureau handled the case was 'not ethically or morally right'. John Robertson feared he would be made a 'scapegoat' when he found the new emails less than two months before voting day, in the wake of DailyMai.com's revelation that Anthony Weiner, whose wife Huma Abedin was Clinton's top aide, was sexting an underage girl. Robertson watched nervously as the bureau did nothing for a month until he went outside the chain of command and spoke with the US Attorney's office overseeing the case. The only advice from his bosses was to erase his office computer, which meant leaving no record of his investigations, a new book says. As Robertson put it: 'To this day don't understand what the hell went wrong', the Washington Post reported.  The claims add another layer of intrigue to the investigation of Clinton's emails which has become one of the most divisive episodes of the 2016 election. They appear in...
It’s a hard job, but somebody’s got to do it. There is long list of the paper’s famous covers on Weiner — but these are some of the most unforgettable classics.
DISGRACED former-Rep. Anthony Weiner was spotted with his son at a children's park in the Hamptons this weekend -- despite being a registered sex offender. “Strange but true. The former congressman represented New York's 9th district, having taken over from current Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer when Schumer won his Senate race in 1999. Weiner was well-liked by the voting population, winning seven terms between Jan. 1999 and June 2011, and never receiving less than 60 percent of the vote. He was also well-connected, as his wife, Huma Abedin, has long served as one of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's top aides. Former President Bill Clinton...
