WE all know how fast Internet trends can take off - and Mewing is one of those. Do you want to define your jawline without having the cost of cosmetic procedures? - Well, here's how you can do it safely yourself. What is mewing? Mewing is the term used to describe the facial reconstructing technique involving the placement of your tongue. This technique is known to define the jaw, correct speech impediments and potentially alleviate any pain from jaw-related issues. It is believed that most people rest their tongue at the bottom of their mouths, with their mouth placed slightly open - but the practice of mewing teaches you to do the opposite. Rather than resting your tongue on the bottom of your mouth, mewing advises you to rest your tongue on the roof of your mouth - keeping your lips together and teeth touching. 1Mewing is the term used to describe the facial reconstructing technique involving the placement of your tongue.Credit: Getty Read More on NewsHIGH STREET BRAWL Family feud erupts into ‘Shameless’ fight as man left ‘sparked out’RACING...

In a promising step towards eternal youth, scientists have reversed the ageing process in middle-aged and elderly mice using a cellular 'rejuvenation' technique.  The California-based experts have shown they can partially reset mice cells to 'more youthful states', using four molecules known as the Yamanaka transcription factors.  After injecting these molecules into mice of various ages, the animals' kidneys and skin showed promising signs of rejuvenation, while their skin cells had a greater ability to proliferate and were less likely to form permanent scars.   Researchers say their 'safe' treatment could one day help humans wind back their biological clock, lowering risks of cardiovascular disease and cancer. According to the findings, a treatment period of seven to 10 months may be required to stave off the unwanted side effects of ageing.   As organisms age, every cell in their bodies carries a molecular clock that records the passage of time. Forget fingerprints, strands of hairs and saliva swabs - scientists have now come up with a way of detecting even the smallest traces of DNA in the air. The discovery - made independently by British and Danish researchers earlier this year - could pave the way for experts to study rare wildlife, but it could also have consequences for crime investigations as well.  It will mean that scientists can now further research animals that typically live in hard-to-reach environments, including deserts, rainforests and caves, as well as helping police investigations by revealing the DNA of any person suspected to have passed through a crime scene. A new technique that detects DNA fragments in the air could help forensic investigations Professor Elizabeth Clare of York University, Canada, tested out the innovative technique last December at Hamerton Zoo Park in Cambridgeshire. PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pool testing allows samples from groups of 3-50 people. The idea here is to find people who are asymptotic or pre-symptomatic before they pass COVID-19 to anyone. So here’s how this works. The group will be tested and samples are collected. This batch or pool combines the samples and tests them all at once for the virus. If it comes back positive, everyone in the group must isolate until individual results come back. If negative, the group is done. Now it’s not perfect as doctors say someone who is no longer infectious but has viral particles could turn a sample positive and someone early in the illness may not have enough virus particles to turn the sample positive. This has been considered for back to school and back to work efforts because you can test more people more often including from Dr. Anthony Fauci. Quest Diagnostics who tests samples says they should have this technique at two of their labs by the end of the week. Pool testing is happening in other countries currently. Experts in the...
