'I can't resist it. Every time the sex is over, we both agree we must never do it again. Two weeks later, we're back there again.' 'He cheated, didn't pay for a thing and all my friends hated him and I put up with all of it for the sex. I still have sneaky sex with him and don't tell a soul.' J-Lo isn't the only one who never did stop thinking about her ex – almost two-thirds of married people agree their ex is on their mind far too often. Forty-three percent of single women in another study took it further than just thinking: they regularly had sex with ex-partners while looking for a new lover, along with 47 per cent of men. Just about all of us admit to having sex with an ex on at least one occasion. It's extremely common - but why is it so damn appealing? I asked people to tell me the reasons why they went back, even if the break-up was painful. The first is sheer laziness mixed with alcohol… J-Lo...

As we emerge as if from hibernation into chilly pub gardens, men are staring down at their bellies and noticing the significantly larger shadow they seem to be casting. Did we let ourselves go that much? Surely lying on the couch eating takeaways for almost a year can’t be that bad for you? Were my T-shirts always this skintight, the waist of my jeans quite so snug? The solution has come from an unlikely source. In a recent interview, actress Kate Winslet somehow got round to discussing her husband’s smalls and revealed that Mr Winslet — Richard Branson’s nephew Edward Abel Smith — proudly sports Spanx. Few moments in life are as profoundly lonely as the day after the funeral of a loved one.  And if the loss is of a lifelong companion – one's 'strength and stay', as the Queen so elegantly described her husband of 73 years, the Duke of Edinburgh – then it marks the point at which a life, irrevocably changed, must somehow carry on without them. The important paperwork and admin that always accompanies a death is largely done. The well-wishers and consolers have paid their tributes and shared memories.  But when the door finally closes and Elizabeth is left alone without her Philip, the man who devoted his life to being by her side, what then? As an end-of-life doula, it's a situation I know all too well. I provide practical and emotional support at the end.  Sometimes we're called death doulas, death midwives, end-of-life companions or soul midwives. It's a new profession, and I work closely with a funeral director but also with NHS palliative care services. We fear death, so we don't like to talk about it. One...
Former Madrid vice president Ignacio Aguado (Cs) accused the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP), of “betraying” the Government agreement with Citizens: “It is as if you come home and see your partner in the bed with another person and, when you ask him for an explanation, he tells you that he did it just in case you were in the office with someone else. ”
Former Madrid vice president Ignacio Aguado (Cs) accused the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP), of “betraying” the Government’s agreement with Citizens: “It is as if you come home and see your partner in bed with someone else and, when you ask him for an explanation, he tells you that he did it just in case you were in the office with someone else. “ “I was in the office working. And what do you do with another person in bed?“Aguado added in an interview with Efe, following this simile. In his opinion, Ayuso, who is an “expert in turning the tables”, is trying “deceive” public opinion and make it believe that it has called early elections because there was a motion of no confidence in the budding of Cs and PSOE against the PP, as in Murcia, to evict it from the regional government, when this, according to Aguado, “is deeply false.” Aguado, which ensures that Ciudadanos had not had “any conversation” with the PSOE in Madrid, argues that Ayuso wanted to call early elections for “more than a...
