Marni Grossman/Paramount+ Anson Mount as Pike in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" & Mariner and Boimler in "Star Trek: Lower Decks" Crossovers aren’t new to the “Star Trek” universe. Ever since the pilot episode of “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” when a very old Admiral Leonard “Bones” McCoy (DeForest Kelley) strolled down the corridors of the brand-spanking-new USS Enterprise-D with Lieutenant Commander Data (Brent Spiner) in tow, fans have yearned to see their favorite characters from different TV shows and eras share the screen. Now, possibly the biggest announcement to come out of San Diego Comic-Con’s “Star Trek” Universe panel is that season 2 of Original Series prequel “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” will feature a crossover episode with the animated comedy “Star Trek: Lower Decks.” In a way, it was inevitable. With five “Trek” series in production and, according to SNW co-creator Alex Kurtzman, two new ones in early development, surely there was the opportunity for some kind of crossover between the shows. Still, it was a surprise when two of the stars of LD, Jack Quaid...
Peacock Captain Jason Chambers from Below Deck Down Under A new spinoff of “Below Deck” will set the superyacht drama in Australia and one of the first things fans (and crew) noticed in “Below Deck Down Under” was the young new captain. From the moment Captain Jason Chambers climbed out of the water in the trailer and the crew commented that he was “hot,” fans have been speculating about his private life and marital status. “Captain is just hot,” stewardess Tumi Mhlongo stated at the beginning of the trailer. The trailer also showed guests outright flirting with the new captain, including one humorous scene with a guest asking the captain what he was looking for, if pirates were looking for gold. “Gold,” he replied after a pause. All jokes aside, based on Chambers’ Instagram page, he’s living a pretty happy life, with his home base listed as the Philippines where his daughter lives with her mother. TIMO WERNER says he is baffled as to why Chelsea fans continue to support him given his under-whelming goal return. The Germany forward was signed from RB Leipzig two years ago and so far has 18 goals in 70 games for the Blues. 1Werner earned a move to Chelsea after bagging 78 goals in 126 games for RB LeipzigCredit: EPA He could easily have doubled his tally had he not missed a bucket load of gilt-edged chances. Now the 25-year-old speedster has opened up about his profligacy and revealed how much the backing from Blues fans means to him. He told Premier League journalist Lynsey Hooper: "Sometimes I don’t know why they are supporting me so much, because I’m a striker and I want to score but miss chances. "It is so fun to play in front of the Chelsea fans. "And when they give the support they give me, it makes me stronger. "But when I miss chances or have hard times I try to give my best every game, and 100 per cent to make sure...

Former New York Mets hitting coach Chili Davis said players who are displeased with the booing they are receiving on the field come with the territory. Davis, who was fired by the Mets in May and before that was on the Chicago Cubs’ staff coaching Javy Baez, told the New York Post on Monday he was surprised by the issue between the players and the fans. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM "I think everyone needs to understand that playing in Chicago or playing in Cleveland or even for [Kevin Pillar] playing in San Francisco or Toronto, it’s a different animal than playing in New York. "The fans don’t want to watch slop. They expected the Mets to win this year. [The fans] were told in the offseason that the team is going to win, and if they are not...

Some of the most memorable moments from Leah McSweeney’s debut season on the “Real Housewives of New York City” included her drunkenly — and nakedly — hurling Tiki torches in the Hamptons, and bonding with co-star Luann de Lesseps over their shared struggles with booze. So it’s something of a surprise to learn that McSweeney, 38, didn’t intend for viewers to know anything about her dicey relationship with alcohol. During a panel for the Paley Center for Media in association with the New York Post, McSweeney said, “I think what I get approached about [by the public] the most — whether it’s in-person or direct messages or emails — is talking about addiction issues and alcoholism and how happy they were about how open I was about it, which, I actually didn’t want to be open about it.” She told moderator and Page Six senior reporter Oli Coleman that before she started taping the show, she “[remembered] being like, ‘I’m not talking about drinking. I’m not making it a thing.’” Fellow panelist and “Real Housewives” executive producer Andy Cohen kidded,...

He plays a position that is not traditionally featuured with this Warriors team and has had some major struggles in his rookie season. But once again, he just turned 20 years old. Wiseman has his critics and Warriors fans still have high expectations. He recently provided a quote proving he is handling the situation well mentally. James Wiseman yesterday: "I know that negativity sells. I really dont worry about that. Ive been through a lot in my life. So I dont worry about people talking about what I need to do because I know what I need to do. I know my weaknesses and what I can...
