IT'S beyond problematic for a guy to stop talking to a girl based on the career path she chooses to take. One woman who works in construction shared a rejection she got over her current job title from a man she went on a date with. 2A woman named Ari exposes a text she received from a man who's uncomfortable with her career path in a TikTok videoCredit: TikTok/@diabloomami The world of dating is already super complicated since it’s hard to meet genuine people who share similar interests with you. A TikToker named Ari, aka @DiablooMami, posted a video exposing a terrible interaction she just went through. The video starts out with a screenshot from a guy that says: “If you work construction with all [those] men, I’m never talking to you again.” It’s unclear what she texted him back in that message thread, but it’s obvious she’s not interested in entertaining such nonsense. The Arsenal fan made the comments after he beat James Cahill 4-0 in the first round of the Welsh Open on Tuesday. Speaking to BBC Wales, he said: "For me there's no emotion involved in playing any more. "It's just a bit of fun and it's just the way I want it. I wouldn't be able to do it any other way. "I'm just enjoying my life and enjoying what I do. At some point you just have to cut it off [the emotion]. "No matter what you do it's just a business and I just look at what's best for me. Most...
Where will Jaxson Dart end up? The talented quarterback is reportedly looking at two schools. Will he help lead the Oklahoma football program? Two notable former USC Trojans are currently seeking out their new home and interestingly enough, it looks like the Oklahoma football program might end up being that destination. While USC’s new head coach Lincoln Riley spurned the Sooners to lead the Trojans, it seems like quarterback Jaxson Dart and tight end Mike Trigg are very interested in what Oklahoma has to offer. Dart and Trigg apparently took a recent trip to Norman and it looks like they had a good time as Trigg took to Twitter to share a hype video that features Oklahoma. Actress Rose McGowan called out the Black Lives Matter movement during her event with California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder, arguing that people should stop labelling each other based on race and focus on their humanity instead. "They want to hear that the more we micro label each other, the better we'll be," McGowan said during a Sunday press conference. "The reality is, today, I challenge this state, I challenge these voters, I challenge the media, to back up. Be human first, vote for humanity." The comments came during a press conference the actress held with Elder, who leads the pack among candidates to become the next governor of California if current Gov. Gavin Newsom is removed from office in the state's recall election on Tuesday. ROSE MCGOWAN TO JOIN LARRY ELDER AMID HARVEY WEINSTEIN-RELATED ALLEGATION AGAINST NEWSOM'S WIFE McGowan appeared alongside the Republican candidate after accusing Newsom's wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom of attempting to persuade her not to go public with her allegations against Harvey Weinstein. Joy Behar of ABC claimed Wednesday that former President Donald Trump had only blamed China for the novel coronavirus because he was looking for a scapegoat at the time. Behar argued on ABC’s “The View” that Trump had simply taken a guess at where the virus had originated and had caught a “lucky break” when it became apparent that he was probably right. (RELATED: ‘Excuse Me, I’m Not Done’: Joy Behar And Meghan McCain Square Off In Explosive Segment On Fauci And Vaccine Hesitancy) WATCH: Cohost Whoopi Goldberg raised the question of the coronavirus’ origins, asking cohost Sara Haines to weigh in on the conflicting theories. Haines argued that the lab-leak theory — which has steadily gained credibility in recent weeks — might have been dismissed early on because it was promoted by the Trump administration and people were predisposed not to believe him. “I think more investigation is needed. Whether the World Health Organization is the one to do it is debatable,” Haines added, noting that the WHO might be overly influenced by the Chinese government. “We...
George Kliavkoff’s name would not have appeared on a list of 25 possible candidates for the Pac-12 commissioner vacancy. Or on a list of 50 possible candidates. Or 100. His appointment to the post on Thursday was both completely surprising and entirely predictable. The Pac-12 presidents never miss a chance the zag when every shred of evidence suggests they should zig. In this case, zigging meant hiring someone with experience on a college campus or in college football, or both. In other words, the antithesis of Larry Scott, who arrived 12 years ago from the Women’s Tennis Association (and then proceeded to hire an attorney as his chief football supervisor). “Coming off a failed experiment,” one industry source said last week, “the Pac-12 cannot follow that up with another experiment.” Kliavkoff has neither campus experience or football expertise. He’s from the sports and entertainment world, with a background in the media space. His resume more closely resembles Scott’s than it does any of the Power Five commissioners whose tenures are considered successful. After they finished a Google search for Kliavkoff,...
WWE have signed Parker Boudreaux, who has been touted as the next Brock Lesnar. This claim has already attracted the attention of a superstar who has actual heat with the Beast. Matt Riddle was the most excited wrestler on the roster after Parker’s signing was announced. He has already made plans to face the youngster in WWE. Will Matt Riddle face the new Brock Lesnar? Calling Parker Boudreaux the next Beast Incarnate is a mighty big claim. However, one look at the hulking youngster and you might mistake him for Lesnar himself. At six foot five and 265 pounds, Parker is taller and lighter than Lesnar. Boudreaux played football for the University of Central Florida but is more inclined to wrestling. The youngster has caught the attention of Matt Riddle. Riddle even took a shot at the actual Brock Lesnar. “He looks just like Brock Lesnar but younger and doesn’t hate me enough to refuse a match with me yet,” said Riddle. The former UFC fighter’s tweet has already grabbed the attention of Parker, who might seem keen on facing...
The New York Times has what you could call an explosive report on Sen. David Perdue's apparent corruption as the Senate's "most prolific stock trader by far, sometimes reporting 20 or more transactions in a single day." When did he get any other work done? Perdue's stock trading, The Times reports, "far outpaced those of his Senate colleagues and have included a range of companies within his Senate committees’ oversight, an analysis shows." It's not just the volume of Perdue's trades that is noteworthy, though. It's the timing of them and the fact they seem inextricably tied to the companies he's overseeing in his committees. Perdue alone accounts for a third of all the trades made by all the senators in the past six years, according to data compiled by Senate Stock Watcher, a nonpartisan watchdog group. "His 2,596 trades, mostly in stocks but also in bonds and funds, roughly equal the combined trading volume of the next five most active traders in the Senate." That's 2,596 trades in just one term, and a hell of a lot of them...
Because the grift never ends, the Justice Department is investigating a potential scheme in which money was funneled to the White House or a political committee in exchange for a presidential pardon, according to CNN. The revelation came to light through heavily-redacted court documents unsealed Tuesday by the Chief Judge of the DC District Court, Beryl Howell. The court records reveal a request by federal prosecutors to review documents obtained during a search before the end of summer. The records don't say exactly who was involved or the timeframe in which the scheme occurred, but at least one lawyer was involved in the communications along with a third party who wasn't the attorney's client. No one seems to have been publicly charged with anything related to the documents to date, reports CNN. The obvious question, of course, is who was implicated in the potential bribery scheme? But perhaps more telling is the question of why the Chief Judge chose to unseal the documents now?  The news follows on actions Trump took to pardon former national security adviser Mike Flynn and commute...
(CNN)Even as he fights for a second term in November, President Donald Trump already has his eye on extending his stay in the White House for a lot longer."We are going to win four more years," Trump said at a rally in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Monday. "And then after that, we'll go for another four years because they spied on my campaign. We should get a redo of four years."Of course, what Trump is proposing is banned by the Constitution, which limits presidents to serving two terms. (If Trump lost in 2020, he could, theoretically, run again in 2024). There is no "redo" provision in the Constitution for extraneous circumstances surrounding a president's first term. And even if there was, Trump's allegation that he deserves a third term because "they spied on my campaign" wouldn't pass any sort of smell test. What Trump deems "spying" was actually an FBI counterintelligence investigation into Russia's efforts to meddle in the 2016 election. On Tuesday morning, the Senate Intelligence Committee released the final volume of its bipartisan investigation into Russia's activities in 2016. It...
