This is the moment a HGV driving on the wrong side of the road narrowly avoids a head-on collision with an oncoming car. The hair-raising incident happened last month on the B3227 near Atherington in North Devon on June 17 at 10.11am. Carl Rowberry, 33, was behind the wheel of the dash cam car, and the clip begins as he approaches a bend on the country road. Moments before the left-hand bend a HGV comes into view on the wrong side of the road and swerves at the last moment avoiding the stationary car by inches. The rear-view camera shows the wheels of the HGV still on the wrong side of the road after passing the car indicating how close a collision was. THIS is the frightening moment a driver veered onto the wrong side of the road, smashed into another car and spun upside down - before escaping prosecution. Driving instructor Colin Savage has branded the decision not to pursue charges "disgraceful" after the horrifying crash in Canterbury, Kent. 5The car was seen driving towards Colin before crossing onto the wrong side of the roadCredit: Facebook 5The driving instructor's car was badly smashedCredit: Facebook The 48-year-old was behind the wheel of his Ford Puma with his wife in the passenger seat when the black Nissan Qashqai rounded the bend and crossed the dividing line. Mr Savage swerved into a bush, but was unable to move far enough over to escape the oncoming vehicle. He suffered severe whiplash and a shoulder injury in the collision, while his wife is a "nervous wreck" and frightened to get back in a car. However, the other driver was not prosecuted following the incident. Instead, cops ordered him to attend a driver awareness course. Read more on UK NewsFORCING HIM OUT Boris' Ed Sec QUITS after 36...
A mom-of-three was killed after riding her illegal ATV down the wrong side of a Philadelphia road - and was left to die of head-trauma by her 'friends.'  Victoria Rose Walker, 29, died Thursday night after her Yamaha ATV - which was unlicensed and not street legal - struck a 2018 Kia Rio.  She'd been racing down the wrong side of a road as part of an illegal dirt bike and ATV ride, and swerved into the correct lane on seeing an oncoming vehicle. But Walker clipped a car as she did so, and ended up falling from her ATV, before dying shortly afterwards from massive head-trauma. It is unclear if she was wearing a helmet at the time.   None of her fellow riders stayed around to try and help, instead leaving the young mom to die alone while the stricken driver of the Kia which hit her tried to help.    The driver of the car stayed at the scene, and is not believed to be facing any criminal charges. Walker shared a photo of herself pulling a wheelie on...
Like all states in the U.S., Minnesota is one of a kind. No other state has the same demographics or needs as we do. The most important basis for helping us to prosper is understanding this simple fact. Unfortunately, we seem to have a governor who does not understand this. One of Minnesota’s main sources of revenue is farming, specifically corn and soybeans.  Minnesota is home to three biodiesel plants, and the country’s first biodiesel mandate. Minnesota is the fourth-largest ethanol producer in the country, and currently has an E10 mandate for gasoline sold in the state. Minnesota implemented these biofuel mandates as a way to boost rural economies and add much-needed tax base to our rural towns and school districts. These mandates have also worked to clean Minnesota’s air. Since their implementation, Minnesota has reached clean air attainment. Given these facts, Gov. Tim Walz’s push for an electric vehicles mandate, otherwise known as “Clean Cars Minnesota,” is unwarranted. And this mandate will fundamentally distort the marketplace and erect artificial incentives for electric vehicles to compete unfairly against vehicles that...

The killer driver was twice the legal limit for cocaine. Widower Sam said he wishes he could trade places with his wife in a heartbreaking tribute after the hearing. "She had a craft room and was very creative," he said. "She did weaving, crochet, macramé and if she needed a new dress, she could just make one. A DRUG driver who drove on the wrong side of the road and killed a veteran father-of-four in a horror crash has been jailed for three and a half years. George Thompson, 36, tried to blame ex-serviceman Richard Blain, 37, for the crash which also left his four passengers with fractured and broken bones. 1Richard Blain died when his car was hit by a drug driverCredit: North Yorkshire Police But Thompson failed a drug test which showed he had illegal levels of cannabis in his system when he smashed his white Ford Transit on Sep 19, 2019. He had left a McDonald's at Leeming Bar in North Yorks., and overtook a vehicle in front of him, police said. After the overtake however, Thompson failed to return to his side of the carriageway and continued driving on the wrong side of the road. He crashed into Mr Blain's oncoming vehicle, which left him with 'extremely serious injuries'. The former soldier was rushed to James Cook Hospital but sadly died later that evening. North Yorkshire Police confirmed that none of Thompson's passengers...
Two school friends of Harry Dunn have shared the terrifying moment they were nearly hit by an American car almost a year after he died in a car crash. Chelsea Wilson and Ed Bunker were leaving a friend's house when they turned on the A4421 in Caversfield, Oxfordshire, a well-known enclave of US and CIA personnel, at around 4.25pm on July 5. Footage however shows a left-hand-drive Chevrolet Camaro with no licence plates heading directly towards them on the wrong side of the road. The driver of the American vehicle appears to make no attempts to stop or to change lanes in time.
