Tenderizing meat refers to the use of a process or substance to break down connective tissue and make it easier to chew and, ultimately, digest. Each of the three major methods of tenderizing meat – pounding, braising, and marinating – has an analogous strategy in the cultural sphere. Pounding a steak with a hammer or mallet uses the highest degree of force to soften tough muscle fibers. In the culture war, pounding is the use of law and policy to force people to comply with social change. A recent example is the Biden administration warning Alabama and other states that they may be violating federal civil rights law if they don’t allow doctors to treat gender-confused minors with hormones or genital mutilation. Pounding is also what Jack Phillips has endured for years. Craven activists in Colorado have been trying to drive the Christian baker and his Masterpiece Cakeshop out of business using frivolous lawsuits because the owner refuses to use his creative gifts to bake cakes for same-sex weddings or transgender affirmation parties. His case was ultimately brought...
Here's the clip: Jordan Peterson's Realization About the Bible youtu.be Anything else? Last year Peterson got quite emotional during a podcast interview discussing Jesus, God, and the notions of faith and spiritual beliefs. "What you have in the figure of Christ is an actual person who actually lived, plus a myth, and, in some sense, Christ is the union of those two things," he said. "The problem is I probably believe that, but I’m amazed at my own belief, and I don’t understand it.” Peterson added that "it’s too terrifying a reality to fully believe. I don’t even know what would happen to you if you fully believed it.” He also said that in the past when he was asked if he believed in God, "I’ve answered in various ways, ‘No, but I’m afraid he probably exists'" — after which Peterson added, “There’s no limit to what would happen if you acted like God existed." And during a 2019 Liberty University panel discussion featuring Peterson, then-campus pastor David...
Thanks to Netflix’s Squid Game and Apple TV+’s Dr. Brain, South Korea has lately become a wellspring of binge-worthy streaming entertainment, and that trend continues with Hellbound, a new Netflix series from Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho that, like his modern zombie classic, focuses on the social unrest that arises in the wake of inexplicable supernatural phenomena. In this instance, that would be the sudden appearance of angels who prophesize people’s impending deaths and eternal damnation, and a trio of demonic goliaths that carry out those executions for all to see. Unsurprisingly, this rocks the citizens of Seoul, what with it seemingly proving the existence of God—as well as confirming that there’s a Hell to which some unfortunate souls inevitable go. Based on Yeon’s webtoon of the same name, Hellbound (Nov. 19) doesn’t beat around the bush, opening with a café patron patiently awaiting the moment of his doom. When the clock strikes the forecasted hour, seismic tremors shake the Earth, followed by the arrival of three dark, smoky titans intent on murder. As envisioned by Yeon, these creatures...

Tiffany Trump on Monday told Joe Biden to 'stop lying' and said 'God knows the truth' after the Democrat accused the president of 'poisoning our very democracy'.  Taking to Twitter the youngest daughter of the president wrote: 'Please stop lying Joe. You may think we are too ignorant to see through the lies— but God knows the truth.'  Biden on Monday had ridiculed Trump for some of the attacks he's made about the Democrat, while making the case he's the president who can bring people together, the opposite of Trump, who Biden said was 'poisoning our very democracy.' Tiffany, who also made an appearance last Tuesday night at the Republican National Convention, hit back with a political rare tweet shortly after.   Her speech last week was much more mature than the one she delivered four years ago in Cleveland, as she gushed about the notes the now-president would write on her report cards.  In it she railed against the media, the tech giants and the education system suggesting they keep the American people 'mentally enslaved.'  Tiffany Trump on Monday...
TIFFANY Trump is following in her father's footsteps and is pushing back at Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. While the Twitter habits of her dad, President Donald Trump, are legendary, and her brothers, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, frequently tweet, Tiffany has been one of the quieter Trumps in-person and on-social media – until Monday. 3Tiffany Trump lashed out at Democratic presidential candidate Joe BidenCredit: Getty Images - Getty "Please stop lying Joe. You may think we are too ignorant to see through the lies— but God knows the truth," the president's daughter tweeted Monday afternoon. The tweet comes hours after the former vice president unleashed a fiery speech in Pittsburgh where he said the president was rooting for violence in Portland and across the country. "Donald Trump looks at this violence and he sees a political lifeline," Biden said Monday morning. "I condemn violence of every kind by anyone, whether on the left or the right." "And I challenge Donald Trump to do the same, we must not become a country at war with ourselves." The former VP added:...
Fact-checking Joe Biden leads to the undeniable conclusions that truth has no hold on him nor on many people today. And he’s supported for highest responsibility in our nation by a populace of truth averse or veracity neutral sycophants. Truth has had its tongue cut out. It’s only allowed to make indistinguishable grunts. This is the ultimate destruction of civilization, and the real and permanent pandemic. Truth matters more than anything. And it has to start with ultimate truth. But ask anyone today “What is truth?” and you’re sure to start a contentious conversation. Try it on a university campus and you’re likely to receive laughter, scorn, and derision. The concept of truth has clearly fallen on hard times, and the consequences of rejecting it are ravaging human society. We are in a cultural battle not just for the application of truth to a political or cultural issue, but even more fundamentally to acknowledge truth itself exists. Some might ask, why does truth matter? No one wants to be lied to, and no one wants a false response to a question...
